About this apartment rental
Ca’ Sant’Angelo is very spacious, bright and airy, with a special atmosphere: it's the perfect spot for an unforgettable Venetian holiday!
It’s on the second floor of an interesting 16th Century building and it has recently been extensively modernised. It can be reached by a shared entrance staircase from a little calle (small street) and it is fully furnished and equipped to a high standard.
The house is well-equipped for staying in at any time of the year - being fully air-condioned and with gas heating. The fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, oven, the large living room with very comfortable sofa, flat screen TV, DVD player and ipod dock, the kingsize bed and wide wardrobe in the master bedroom, the second bedroom with 2 twins and two extra hidden beds underneath, the bathrooom with jacuzzi shower. All of this will all ensure that your stay will be memorable!
The property is very quite, far from the crowd, a very sophisticated way to live Venice. An exceptional light and the Venetian antique structure of the house are the spell of this location; at the same time the guest can find modern comforts as internet connection, air conditioning, big flat screen TV, new kitchen appliances.
We will offer a well stocked library, with Venetian guides, history and cookery books and our own detailed personal guide to our favourite places to see, eat and shop will give you all the information to enjoy your stay at the best.
A”welcome book” describes a personal selection of some of the best places to visit and to eat out in Central Venice. It also contains detailed information and advice on how to get around Venice, and how to make the most of your stay.
Being on the edge of the sestiere of San Marco, it is extremely convenient for the city’s main attractions, all of which are in easy walking distance. Equally, this is a quiet residential areas and a wealth of food and artisan shops, bars and restaurants can easily be found close by and ‘off the beaten path’.
Close by, across the Rialto Bridge are the spectacular daily fish and vegetable markets and the residential sestieri of Dorsoduro and San Polo.
The attractions of Venice are world-known, and discovering these for yourself on foot or by boat, with fresh delights around every corner, is an essential part of the venetian experience.
Cruising along the Grand Canal in a water bus and visiting St Mark's Square, with its extraordinary Basilica and tower bell, will just be the beginning.
The Rialto Bridge with its shops along the Mercerie, food markets, and views of the Grand Canal is another experience that you cannot miss.
Getting off the beaten track can be even more special, with beautiful churches, minor islands, peaceful back canals and little squares with cafes and restaurants to sit out at and watch everyday life going on.
In Venice you will enjoy special events all year around, from Xmas and New Year Venetian-style to Carnival in February, the popular Redentore festival with its amazing firework in July, the Venice film festival every September and the world-famous Venice Biennale exhibition every Summer.

The place was fantastic, in a great location. It was easy to get to Rialto or San Marco. The place as well stocked and felt very safe, even when we arrived from our evening out late at night.

We had a great time for the quick trip to visit the city. The apartment was perfectly located, a quick 10 minutes or less walk to Piazza San Marcos. The place was clean and accommodating.

I (4 adults and 2 children) stayed in this centrally located apartment in Venice for three nights in August, and overall, it was a positive experience.
Pros:
• The location couldn’t be better. It’s right next to the market, which was incredibly convenient for fresh produce and other supplies.
• The living area is spacious and nicely furnished, providing a comfortable place to relax.
• The kitchen was well-stocked with everything needed for cooking and dining, making meal preparation easy.
Cons:
• There are two flights of stairs to navigate, which might be challenging for some guests.
• The trundle beds were not particularly comfortable, which was a slight downside for sleeping arrangements.
• While the showers were good, the hot water ran out after the fourth shower, which was a bit inconvenient for a larger group.
Despite these minor issues, I would stay here again due to the fantastic location and overall comfort.

It was so nice coming back to the appartment after long dsys of exploring Venice and Murano. Air conditioning works very well. Nearby grocery store is a bonus. We loved our stay.

Venice can be tricky to get around so we were glad to meet a representative and be shown the way to the apartment. It's in a great location with a grocery store just stepa away. Plenty of room for us and all te amenities.

Easy access to everywhere in Venice. Super easy check in, and lots of room for our family of four. Great hosts!

Absolutely loved the location of this apartment. Quiet area but still close to many of the sights; plus there is a grocery within eyesight of the front door. Plenty of room for 4 people and the A/C works very well for warm summer days in Venice. Would definitely stay again.

This beautiful apartment was perfect for our family of 5. Hosts were very helpful in coordinating and met us at the water bus. Would defiantly stay here again!

The apartment is cute and spacious, not exactly stylish as represented. It had everything we needed with two decent sized bedrooms, a separate living room, a large bathroom and a well appointed kitchen. It even had a little laundry room with a combination washer/dryer. However, the place needs a little TLC. The wood beams in the kitchen are beautiful, but one of the wood pieces next to a beam is pulling away and looks dangerous. The beds are very firm and the sheets are mismatched and uncomfortable. I had to go searching around for top sheets, but it turns out that they were under our pillows. The rainfall shower head does not work but the handheld one works. There are no directions for using the stereo or the washer/dryer. If you use the washer, select 1 on the dial and then the start arrow on the right (>”) to wash and dry your clothes. It takes about 4.5 hours and the clothes aren’t completely dry but there’s a drying rack. A better option is to choose 5 to wash, and when it’s done, select “solo asciugatura” and the “asciuatura” buttons on the right and hit the start arrow. I may have also selected ”centrifuga”. The key to get in the front door is tricky. You can’t put it all the way into the lock or it won’t open. The apartment is in a great location right by a grocery store and a short walk to San Marco and the Rialto bridge. It’s quiet except for sometimes hearing people upstairs, There are a lot of stairs to get to it. Communication with the owner was okay.

We loved the location and the large kitchen! We stayed with our two teenage girls and it was perfect! The place was very clean and easy to get to.

We moved our stay in Eva’s apartment in Venice. Apartment was centrally located and she was super helpful with helping get us to the apartment and from the train station and airport. Would stay here again if visiting Venice in the future.

Upon arrival, Ms Tanya was very helpful in getting us settled in. She waited for us, as we were delayed in the rain. The apartment was clean and perfect for our stay- great location, in walking distance of major sites, a grocery store, and the vaparetto.
A few things- there should be instructions on how to use the washer/dryer. It was very frustrating not being able to figure out how to dry something and when we ran one load of wash, it didn’t dry at all. We watched videos and read the manuals but couldn’t get it.
The other item is some general maintenance- lights in bathroom burned out and we couldn’t get the overhead shower to turn on (could have been user error!).
Thank you for this great experience at a reasonable price and wonderful location!

Everything in the listing was as-advertised.
The location was convenient for vaporetto lines, Rialto, and St Mark’s.
We were comfortable and felt secure with the building and unit.
The neighborhood was nice, and there’s a grocery store right down the block.
The unit was clean and the A/C worked well.
Would rent from again.

We are as a family really enjoyed to stay at Mrs. Eva’s cozy and beautiful apartment. She gave me clear instructions. She is easy to communicate. Her apartment is closed to museums. I definitely recommend people to stay at her apartment.

Great location - extremely close to restaurants and shops. Lovely apartment with grocery right at the end of the alley.

Our family of 5 stayed 3 nights in this lovely, spacious apartment. We were met at the vaporetto stop and led the short distance to the apartment. The location could not be better and we were a short walk from everything you could want to see in Venice as well as a vaporetto stop to get everywhere else. The kitchen had everything needed to make dinner in plus a very convenient grocery store steps away. We were tired of eating out for every meal so ended up cooking for about half of our meals and then eating gelato for dessert from one of the many close places. The beds were all very comfy, the bathroom was huge, and there was plenty of space for our family of 5 adults. Wonderful stay, could not recommend more!

Booking process was seamless and a property Mgr met us right on time to guide us to the apartment. The apartment is a good size, particularly for Venice. You have easy access to Sam Marco, Dorsoduro and other areas of Venice. The apartment was clean and the kitchen is modern and very functional. We had a great two evenings in Venice.

My family of 4 stayed 3 nights at this wonderful apartment. We arrived a little early but were able to meet the representative and leave our suitcases. It was very easy to use google maps to walk around and we were glad to have a grocery store at the end of the street! We found the location to be very good- quiet at night and close to the Vaporetto, Rialto and St. Mark’s square. Both bedrooms are large, as is the bathroom. The living room is comfortable and has good natural lighting. The apartment had very good supplies. We had opened windows to let in a breeze but found out at bedtime that a few mosquitoes got in! We truly enjoyed our stay here (although it was too short!) and would definitely book again for a future trip!

Spacious apartment in a fantastic location! Walk to Rialto Bridge in about 5 minutes and to St. Mark’s Square in 10-12 minutes. Apartment as advertised with plenty of space (including nice sized bathroom counter) in a quiet part of the city. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us!

Two families of three found this property perfect for our Venice visit. Very well equipped with plenty of beds for all. Check-in was convenient and flexible as our arrival on boat was delayed. Very clean and great location. Grocery store just steps away and vaporetto stop nearby as well. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

This place is an excellent choice if you're looking for a nice, quiet place that is close to Rialto/St. Mark's Plaza, but not at all disturbed by the street noise common to those places. The apartment is very well appointed and within thirty yards of a nice grocery store. You can use this spot to really make whatever you like of your trip to Venice. We thoroughly enjoyed it. *Note - You will need to familiarize yourself with the area landmarks sufficiently to locate the place. Our GPS (iphone maps app) really struggled with it. It isn't that it's specifically hard to find...but our app couldn't do it well at all. This does not detract from the apartment, but is a heads up for any traveler who might use it. I had heard this is not uncommon in Venice.

Pay attention to wear you are and how you got there. We learned to GPS a really close grocery store.
I am sure this would be true of about any place you stay in Venice, buildings are close together and obviously no roads and no cars , wonderful experience.
Apartment was clean and located with in walking distance of most everything. Host was helpful and informative.

This was an ideal spot for my family. Very close to all of the major attractions in Venice and there is a very nice supermarket just steps from the front door. Very convenient!

Location is perfect! Short walk from San Angelo water taxi. Grocery store is literally 1 minute away.
Clean and very well stocked apartment. Easy walking location to the major tourist sites. Very quiet and private location. Would 100% stay here again without hesitation.

The apartment was lovely, just a bit difficult to fine. Definitely need GPS to locate; especially late at night. The neighborhood is very nice, clean and we felt very safe everywhere we walked. Restaurants nearby and not too for from Rialto Bridge. I would have like a map that i could take with me showing the direction from the apartment to St. Marco square. Overall a great place.

A wonderful apartment in a fantastic location. The apartment had everything we needed and was well presented. A fabulous stay in a magical city.

We loved the location snd property. We were 5 adults, so the bedroom with 2 twins and a trundle was challenging, but would be well suited for a family with younger children. The communication with host was good, and it was so helpful to have someone meet us at the boat and take us to the apartment!

Very helpful host, good area! No complaints.

This apartment is in the perfect location to explore the sites of Venice.
It is a very short walk to St. Mark's Square and Rialto Bridge and many restaurants and shopping.
There are several areas to easily pick up a gorgeous gondola ride.
Communication from the host was quick and she made arrangements to have Tania meet us and walk us directly to the apartment and show us around.
Warning - Venice is an absolute maze of twisting streets and it is easy to get lost. Pin the location on your phone when you get there just to be safe.
Overall this apartment was super spacious, comfortsble and in the perfect location to explore Venice

Thank you so much:)

This apartment was in a great location. A shirt walk from the San Angelo pier off of the water taxi. We enjoyed a lot of shopping and short walks to San Marco and Rialto Bridge. The food in the area is so great! We did have to wait out some high tide water one day as our alley was flooded when we came home. Check in was easy and listing is as described!
