About this house rental
This property, is a cozy home away from home with a sunny location, facing south on the second fairway of the Eagle-Vail golf course. There is an old world ambiance featuring artistic patina on hand-textured walls and richly lacquered exposed beams. When you walk through the front door, you immediately become aware of the loving attention to detail that went into this renovation. The materials throughout include hardwood, slate, stone tile, marble and granite slab surfaces as well as alder cabinetry, trim and doors which gives the home an ambience of a true mountain lodge. The open floor plan of the main level has comfortable leather furniture in the living area, large flat screen, games table, and is complete with a native Colorado stone gas fireplace. The dining area is outfitted with a large wood and iron table and seats 8. Complete with stainless steel appliances and a gas range, a gourmet kitchen has all the necessities and utensils to please the cook of the family.
A large, south facing deck with flower planters overlooks the golf course and the aspen filled mountains. There is ample outdoor seating during the summer months as well as a gas grill. Rounding out the main level is a cedar paneled hot tub room with a tub that will comfortably fit up to 5 adults.
There are two primary bedroom suites on the upper level, with bathrooms including marble counters and spa-like marble tile showers with glass doors. One of the bedrooms has a king size bed with a decorative wood headboard, the other has a California king . One of the bedrooms has a small deck with atrium doors and windows that look out to the 2nd fairway of the Eagle-Vail golf course. Each of the 4 bedrooms in the home have flat panel TV’s and DVD players for in-suite entertainment.
The bedrooms downstairs are at garden level with plenty of natural light and consist of another large master bedroom with a wrought iron king size bed while the second bedroom has a log bunk bed with a full size bed below and a single above. There is also a full size trundle bed. This room is a favorite for kids but can comfortably accommodate a couple or up to 3 single adults. These bedrooms are connected by a common bath with counters and bath walls finished in stone tile.

We really enjoyed staying between Beaver Creek and Vail. We had easy access to both skiing parks. The house was just the right size for our family, the fireplace kept us warm. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We had two issues - one with the heating in the house and the other with one of the bedrooms but it was fixed almost immediately by the property manager who was on the spot and so helpful. She was helpful also with directions and makind sure we had a good stay. We would stay here again anytime!

This house was great! Lots of space with all the amenities of home. As a Floridian, it took some getting used to having no A/C, but the evenings cooled down nicely, and so did the house. The kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the back deck tremendously! Nearby trees provided shade for most of the day, and the wide open golf course not only gave us beautiful breezes but stunning mountain views. Beware of errant golf balls though! The neighborhood is filled with mature trees and lovely gardens and is very nicely positioned to I-70. We hope to get back to this property in the near future.

We have stayed here 3 times. Every time is wonderful. The new television in the living room was needed and a welcome addition. Would not hurt to replace all. The heat in the master bedroom was not working correctly. Not sure if I did something wrong, but was not a big deal. Would not hurt to have a plumber tightened the hot and cold valves in the master bathroom. All. Minor stuff.

This house was perfect for our group. It had everything we needed and was conveniently located to ski Vail and Beaver Creek within minutes. It’s also close to a lot of different stores. The property manager was also very helpful and quick to answer any questions. Would come back in a minute!

This was the perfect property for our trip! Two families with 9 people had plenty of room. Fully equipped kitchen had everything we needed and was the most equipped that we have ever had while away! We enjoyed stay at this beautiful house. There’s plenty of room for our party of 11, 6 adults and 5 kids. Indoor hot tub was such a hit after a day of skiing. It’s conveniently located near Vail and Beaver Creek. Supermarkets are nearby. Property management is easy to reach and solved our problem very quickly. We already can’t wait to come back.

Lovely house near Vail/Beaver Creek
We enjoyed stay at this beautiful house. There’s plenty of room for our party of 11, 6 adults and 5 kids. Indoor hot tub was such a hit after a day of skiing. It’s conveniently located near Vail and Beaver Creek. Supermarkets are nearby. Property management is easy to reach and solved our problem very quickly. We already can’t wait to come back.

We stayed in the property for a few weeks in the summer. Overall we were satisfied. Eagle-Vail is a very nice community, this townhouse is literally 1min from their community pool and tennis / pickle ball courts which are very nice. Our kids were able to bike to tennis court on their own. It is also right by the fairway of the 2nd hole of the golf course (less than 150 yards from the green). In the summer evenings, people take their kids or dogs for a stroll along the course and play frisbee on the fairway. We also chipped and putted around the green. We drove to either vail or beaver creek / Avon area for other activities. In the summer, parking in vail is free and generally abundant so the 10-15min drive is a breeze.
While pictures are accurate but I’d say the townhome is a little dated and worn when you see it in person. The description says the remodeling was rated platinum but my guess is that the rating and remodel was from a while ago.
Tere, the property manager was responsive but can also be curt at times.
The internet is serviceable at best and can get spotty when upstairs. We worked remotely from this house so it was a bit of a challenge. But if you are just vacationing for a shorter period of time, that should be less of an issue. We have Verizon for our cell phone and unfortunately it doesn’t work well in the house

Fantastic base for skiing
This property was perfect for our group. Plenty of privacy in the bedrooms, but also very open and inviting in the family areas. The big table was great for our party with lots of room for our meals. It was extremely well equipped and comfortable. It was also very clean and well maintained. We all enjoyed the hot tub room after skiing all day.

Great ski getaway!
The home was located close to ski areas. We had groceries delivered but shopping is conveniently close by. Home has all amenities that are listed and our family had a wonderful time!

Awesome house & perfect location!
This house was perfect for our group of 6 (two couples plus two singles)! There are two master bedrooms with king beds and en suites upstairs and then two bedrooms on the lower level with a Jack and Jill bathroom. The indoor hot tub was a hit and the best way to end the day after a lot of skiing. There is also a large dining table that’s not shown in the pictures. We loved that there was a separate “game” table where we could play games and do puzzles and then a full dining table for meals. The kitchen/dining/living room are open concept but all the bedrooms feel like a hideaway - it’s awesome! The location is also perfect only 10 min from Vail, close to downtown Avon and Beaver Creek, not far from Minturn or Edwards either! Definitely hope to stay again!

Outstanding property with well stocked kitchen for our holiday ski trip to Vail and Beaver Creek! This was our third stay at one of Katie's properties, and she has always done an excellent job communicating with us and making sure our vacation is enjoyable! Will definitely stay again!!

Spacious with well stocked kitchen and nice bathrooms
The property is actually better than the pictures it was perfect for our family of six. It was very warm with a mountain lodge feel. The four bedrooms are on three different levels which was really nice the adjoining bathrooms were updated. We cook a lot and enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen. There was a problem with the check in and the owner responded immediately

Nice for families with small kids.
Katie was very helpful. Having the bedrooms upstairs and downstairs was nice so the kids could sleep while the adults stayed up and talked in the family room. Upstairs got a bit warm, but the fans and cool mountain air help. Lots of furniture so not as much room for small children to have a play area. We’d stay there again.

The owner is very accomodating and went above and beyond for our unusual circumstance. Our family enjoyed our short stay and will be back next year. Lovely home and fabulous location. Easy to access all that is needed -- Walmart is only a short drive away. Beautiful views, too. THANK YOU!

Perfect for a family getaway!
We stayed here for a week to celebrate Christmas and I could not think of a more perfect place to stay! From the view/privacy in the backyard to the gorgeous fireplace to the beautiful master suite showers...we will absolutely be back (if all of our friends who saw our photos don't book up all the dates first!)

Great location
It would have been helpful to know the garage opener was on lock in the garage, also knowing that the garbage disposal was not plugged in. Knowledge of the pool admission charges for children and adults in advance would be helpful. An info sheet in the home for all of this including the WI fi connection would take care if these small issues.
However, we enjoyed our stay, we just had a bit of frustration with these things.
