The house was in a terrific location, short walk to coffee and the village. Super easy to check in, and the house was very well equipped. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. Really nice features! Excellent communication with our host, Michele. Thank you!!

My family with ours friends always love snowboarding. Every year, we try different ski resort around the country. And part of the is finding a place to stay and this house and host is perfect. Close to the ski resort and all you need is inside the house. Sometimes unwanted circumstance happed like our car was not turning on. I message the host and without any delay and hesitation, she even offered us to stay until the morning to be safe especially in a cold place.
Thank you so much!!!😊

Loved the property location. Gorgeous views and great amenities. The home was well stocked and Michele was a pleasure to communicate with. We had 11 people in our group and the home was spacious enough for everyone! We will definitely rebook here again.

We enjoyed our stay and the beautiful landscape surrounding the home. The home was spacious and well equipped. We had a great time! Large balcony on the street side and wildflower haven out back. Fantastic location, close to Tahoe Palisades, bike trail, short drive to Lake Tahoe, but enough away to not have crowds everywhere you go.

We came for a wedding and the house was perfect for our group. The sauna and hot tub were awesome to have it and sleeps a ton of people. The place is a bit dated but it didn't bother us much. Great location if you're doing anything in Squaw Valley right on the main strip. Michelle was also super helpful and communicative when we were having some problems with the stay!

We had a group of 14 young professionals from the Bay Area going to Tahoe for some outdoor rock climbing and absolutely loved our stay here. The house was large enough to sleep all of us comfortably with only one person on one of the provided air mattresses. We made full use of the hot tub, sauna, close proximity to the lake, and fun games and puzzles provided! Would highly recommend this stay for a relaxing and spacious home for a big group of people!

This was a great home for a family get together. We had 5 children with 6 adults. Everything was well stocked and very comfortable. The only drawback was the road noise at night during the summer when you wanted all the doors and windows open to cool off.

Overall many things we’re lacking. The positives were location, views, outdoor living area, and the responsiveness of the property owner, Michelle. The negatives were noticeable as soon as we stepped in. At first impression the house looked dingy and tired. The front stairs were carpeted and stained. The downstairs bedroom with the bunk beds was dark, and mattresses were lumpy and uncomfortable. We also noticed that the futon in the game room was broken. Michelle told us that the previous guests had broken it, but she had already scheduled a handyman to come out. She also ordered lots of inflatable mattresses and those were delivered quickly. When the handyman came out the next day, he struggled to fix the futon, so he literally fixed it by wrapping the entire left side with duct tape! In all honesty the futon was so old and worn that it wasn’t even worth fixing; it should have gone straight to the dump. As for the main floor, the smaller bedroom that connects to the bathroom was unkept. The comforter, curtain, lamp shade, and mattress were ALL stained & worn. The kitchen drawers were old and some were hard to open. Fortunately the kitchen was very well equipped with every item you can think of, which was nice. But the main source of light, a chandelier only had 2 very small working light bulbs; the rest were burned out. The other issue with the kitchen was cleanliness. On day one I cleaned a little water that had spilled on the floor, and the napkin turned black. We had just arrived, so it was clear that the housekeepers hadn’t cleaned very well. The main living room was fine, but one lamp was broken. The biggest disappointment was finding out on day one that the spa was not working. Michelle informed me, and called a repairman to come out the next day. She also issued a $250 credit for the first night. The spa should have been ready by the evening of the 2nd day, but it never reached temperature so we didn’t get to use it until the 3rd day. When we finally got in it, we quickly noticed the water level drastically going down. Turns out the repairman left a loose hose, so the water drained out. Quite disappointing because the reason I chose this house, was because of the spa. All in all the negatives outweighed the positives, so I can’t say I would rent it again.

We had a group of ten guests stay in this home for a long weekend and we loved it! The cabin was fully stoked with extra towels, linens, and a "Fairy Godmother Closet" full of extra snow clothes. The location was great, only a 2 minute drive from the ski resort.
The only thing to note is that there is a permanent tenant that lives in a connected house on the same property so it is not as large as the picture looks. It would be better described as a duplex not a home.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The owner was very helpful and friendly and accommodating. It felt like staying at a relative's home. The kitchen had all of the utensils and dishes and cookware we could need. Lots of pillows, blankets and other linens. So much firewood and a great back area for kids to play. We loved having the trail across the street and being able to walk to the Village. We did need to bring a few cleaning items (dish soap, sponge, tissues) as those were low but one family of our group came later so they brought the items. The bottom floor gets very cold and only one space heater worked. Also, the kids felt another couch was needed because most of them sat on the floor for tv and games. But great bunk room with many beds. So many games and extra winter gear. We would definitely stay here again.

We needed to be near the village so my kids could do a Spartan Run. The location to the resort was perfect. The home was exactly like described and large enough for the nine of us. My granddaughters loved the hot tub. The house is supplied with everything you could need. The beds are comfortable. Nice linens. The owner was easy to work with and her directions/notes were helpful. We had one question during our stay, called Michele and she got right back to us with the answer. I would highly recommend staying here.

Our group had a great time staying here for a ski weekend. We enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The place says it sleeps 16, but we had 14 people and I couldn't imagine fitting anymore. Overall it was a great place for a big group. The proximity to Squaw can't be beat.

With ample sleeping arrangements and an open space for kitchen, living room, and dining, great for groups to go to Squaw and shred some gnar.

Our family had a great visit. The layout is as described and it worked really well for our group. Great walks around the area and we enjoyed the back yard too. We took advantage of the barbecue and cooked outside each night. Sitting in the back yard felt like were in a hidden forest. I had hoped to return to another home we rented in the Olympic Valley area last year but they were booked. We will definitely return here instead next year. See you next year!

This house was perfect for us. I was searching for a place late one night and the owner emailed back immediately and we had it booked that same night. Talk about responsive! The house is beautiful and it was ideal for our group of three families. For our group, we used the upstairs for adults and downstairs, where the bunk bed room and playroom are, for the kids. It was a one minute drive to Squaw and the skiing was terrific this week. The days were fun but we also looked forward to coming back home for post-ski hot tubbing and relaxation time. After the hot tub some of us warmed up in the sauna. We also enjoyed a warm fire in the wood burning fireplace each night. There was more snow than we expected and we had fun making snowmen and even set up a fun sledding run in the back yards. It is a really large yard and there was a lot of room to play. We are already coordinating calendars so we can make this an annual visit to Squaw and to your lovely and welcoming home. Thank you!

Hello fellow Squaw lovers! We rented this house with two other couples - we each have 2 small children for a total of 6 kids. The layout for three families was ideal. The older kids were able to all bunk together while the little ones stayed in with parents. Then each couple had a room with a queen bed. Location was perfect as we could run kids and Dads to the mountain in about 2 minutes so the Mom's could take the little ones to the village, park, grocery store, etc. Michele was extremely accommodating and was very responsive to any questions we had. Besides all of these great features, the price was right. It's nice to be able to go up for a long weekend without breaking the bank. This owner clearly has renters' best interests at heart and we look forward to another stay in the near future!!

I have rented through VRBO many times and this is the first time the place didn't live up to the pictures & descriptions. The property is "tired". The first thing you see when you walk in are the stairs, they are carpeted and they are filthy. The rest of the house was clean (should be with the hefty cleaning fee) but some rooms really need attention. The downstairs bath needs paint & a facelift. Previous properties I've rented have all had some "basics" included in the bathrooms & kitchen. Not here, we were lucky there was one roll of paper towels and some TP. Typically a rental kitchen has basic seasonings, some paper goods & cleaning supplies. Some of this was provided but no real staples to speak of - not even pepper. None of the kitchen/bath drawers were lined with shelf paper & utensils were minimal.
The owners were very nice and helpful when we had to call for assistance. Their instructions could be a little more detailed regarding power failures, blown fuses etc.
Again, nice owners and a great location but for the price, not a place I'd stay again.
