Our lovely Nihilani Home is situated ideally in the center of the complex, far away from the noise of Ka Haku Road and just steps to the swimming pool and barbecues. And good news, there is now wireless at the pool! This 2,200 SF, 2 story home has undergone a renovation, is beautifully decorated, and is deliciously air conditioned providing respite from those humid north shore days. Beautiful Pua Poa Beach, overlooking Hanalei Bay, is 1.2 mile walk via 1 Hotel Hanalei for a restorative morning walk and swim. Or 1.5 mile walk in the other direction, via the Westin Resort, brings you to Wyllie's Beach, at the end of the 2 mile long Anini Beach.
The moment you walk through the front door you feel at home. The living room is inviting and comfortable, the kitchen is open with stainless appliances, a spacious Island with counter seating adjacent to the formal dining table, and the bedrooms upstairs are a delightful haven for you and your family.
There are 3 lanai's. The first floor lanai is directly off the living area, a perfect place to enjoy your cup of coffee in the morning, or a glass of wine in the evening. The sound of the breeze through the palm trees is so relaxing and a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. The other 2 lanais are private, one off the Master bedroom with a beautiful view of the pool, and the 2nd bedroom lanai has a street view and just a glimpse of the ocean.
Downstairs is the living/dining area, with plenty of room for everyone, comfortable furniture, and a 60" Flat Screen Smart TV. It is the perfect setting to relax after a long day in the sun. The dining table seats 6 with additional seating at the spacious Island in the kitchen. The kitchen has granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and is fully equipped with everything you would need to create a meal for you and your family. There is direct access to the single car garage and a half bath rounds out the downstairs.
Upstairs, the Master bedroom suite is very large with a king size bed, 48" flat screen Smart TV, and a relaxing window seat nook which can convert to another sleeping area. The en suite bathroom has double sinks, a Jacuzzi tub and separate shower. And of course don't forget that private lanai.
The 2nd bedroom suite consists of a queen size bed, direct access to the shared Jack & Jill bathroom and has it's own private lanai.
The third bedroom comes with a queen bed and shared access to the Jack & Jill Bathroom. All bedrooms are well appointed and comfortable, with spacious closets.
There is a fourth room upstairs, which contains a large twin/full bed with a trundle bed underneath and a 42" flat screen Smart TV.
A 2nd floor laundry room with full size washer and dryer is directly across from the den area.
This home comes complete with extra linens, towels, beach towels, hair dryer, iron & ironing board, in room safe, and of course free wireless high speed internet.

A feature unique to Nihilani that affords easy parking and access to the condo is the garage parking for 1-2 mid size or smaller: car, SUV or minivan. Nice & spacious, very clean, plenty of space/beds for 5 adults & 2 teens. Abundance of beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels & water shoes. A/C worked great. Only minor annoyance was no working ice maker in freezer so we bought bag at Foodland right down the street. Also be mindful of extra cash cleaning fee due upon arrival when figuring in total cost. Would highly recommend & stay again! We loved our first family trip to the islands!

Renters need to be aware when comparing properties that this property does not list cleaning fee in the VRBO pricing details which is against VRBO policy. It is an unfair advantage when comparing properties on total price per night. For a 3 night stay, cash cleaning fee on arrival raised the nightly rate significantly. After I submitted booking request, I received a VRBO email that reservation was confirmed with message from the host embedded in email. I mistakenly thought any cleaning fees were built into nightly rate. Rental agreement was not received via email but does appear in the chat feature which I overlooked. The day before my departure to Hawaii, I received a text w/ "reminder" that cleaning fee was due in cash upon arrival & was sent copy of rental agreement that was acknowledged electronically. I did miss this agreement copy in VRBO chat and since I did not want to be without a place to stay I complied with terms. I didn't understand the need to place cash in garage box within 24 hrs unless someone was going to access the property while we were still there- which made me uncomfortable.
Overall the condo was nice, well-stocked, spacious, and clean. The bed mattress in the hallway alcove was very uncomfortable (thin and metal coils could be felt) so the plan for 13yr old to stay there did not work as she reported immediately and we had to concur. Being a short 3 day stay, we did not utilize the amenities (pool/spa) of condo.

This property had everything you need and more! Comfortable beds, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, essentials. We loved the snorkel gear, surf boards, boogies-and bikes too! The communication was clear and thorough. The property was clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved the pool after a day at the beach. We can’t wait for our next trip!

We loved this home. Beautifully decorated, huge kitchen, beautiful bedrooms. Lots of space. Air conditioning worked awesome. The one thing I missed was an outdoor dining lanai for our family. There is a dining table on the first floor in the kitchen / living room space. But even though we missed the outdoor table, we loved the home and would return. Thank you!

Our family of 6 included my husband and I, plus older kids ages 16 - 20. The condo is clean, well stocked and much larger than it looks in the pictures. Great location with lots to do within walking distance, including golf, disc golf (which the kids enjoyed), Queen's Bath, turtle cave, and Hideaway beach. Short drive to Hanalei. Would definitely stay here again!

First week, we were a family of 8. 2nd week we we’re down to 6 Found property easily with directions provided and was in a great location in princeville. We were a little concerned about parking as we were limited to only parking in small double garage and 2 compact cars wouldn’t get us and luggage from airport. We rented a dodge mini van and dodge 7 passenger suv. It was a very tight fit but we made it work..(had couple spotters when parking for the night.) property manager responded quickly by text when we had questions. Pool and hot tub(seemed to be having issues with heater on hot tub)were great and had the right amount of shade/sun. Would definitely stay again if we would come as a larger group:)

The home in Kauii is heavenly. There are wonderful beaches near by, as well as some very cute towns. We had a great time

Nice place for 3 generations to relax and enjoy this beautiful island. Pool was great for the grandkids, and complex was quiet at night. Neighbors are friendly, house is well equipped, and beach toys are plentiful. It was the perfect setup and host was easy to communicate with.

This location was perfect for myself, partner, and 3 family members. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space. We enjoyed many meals around the table, relaxing on the lanai, and time at the pool. Princeville, Kilauea, and Hanalei are nearby communities that are fun to explore.

everything as detailed in listing and as promised. if anything, property manager "under-promised" regarding all of the beach toys, and gear that was available. beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, etc. etc. I've never seen so much recreational stuff available at a VRBO. So that was a great surprise.

Very spacious for our family of 7. It was a great location and everything was clean and well stocked with items like beach stuff, spices, shampoo/ conditioner , etc etc. It was our first time to Hawaii and we had such a great experience. Very quiet neighborhood too, always felt safe. Hope to visit again T

We were very happy with the condo. Lots of space for us and our 2 little kids. Actually had too much space but it was really nice. Very close to the pool which we went to daily. We were glad to have the A/C at night and then would turn it off each morning as we didn’t really need it during the day plus we were gone most days adventuring. Would definitely recommend this nice property!

VERY CLEAN, COMFORTABLE, WELL EQUIPPED WITH EVERYTHING FROM THE KITCHEN TO THE BEACH CHAIRS, SNORKELS, FINS.

ONE NEGATIVE: THE POOL IS BEAUTIFUL, BUT RATHER SMALL , FOR A PROPERTY THIS SIZE AND FULL OF SMALL, CHILDREN SCREAMING AND SPLASHING WITH JOY AND HAPPINESS, WITH HAPPY PARENTS AND GRANDPARENT. I WISH THERE WAS A SECOND SWIMMING POOL ON THE PROPERTY FOR ADULTS ONLY.

This is a great home in a great location. Princeville is close to great beaches and cute towns. We enjoyed how close the home is to the pool. The neighborhood is very quiet and well kept. The landscape creates a well manicured tropical paradise. We enjoyed how the garage is stocked with many beach-going supplies - chairs, coolers, floats, snorkel gear, bike. Our only issue was that our rental van, a large Ford Transit, did not fit in the garage. It was very stressful. The HOA is very strict about parking. The property manager couldn't offer any solutions and was rather curt. Fortunately a different property employee brought us a pass that allowed us to stay overnight in a guest spot. It was frustrating that the manager of this property didn't know or didn't offer this solution. Luckily it all worked out and we had a fantastic vacation.

From the time we arrived and found the property to be immaculate, through our entire stay we throughly enjoyed this property. It's situated for easy access to shopping and beaches, yet is in a very quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed for an exceptional base during our Kauai stay.

Great haven in Paradise!!!
Needed several messages to get our check in code (day before our arrival which was a little nerve wracking) but after that everything was smooth. We really loved the property!!! Spacious and comfortable and can really sleep 10 people. Well equipped with swimming gear, snorkels, beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, etc. for treks to the local beaches. Close to some good restaurants in nearby Hanalei. Check out Kalypso Restaurant in Hanelei...you won't regret it. Its very casual but the food is more on the gastropub side. Everything we had was very good and the drinks are outstanding. Master bedroom is huge with a walk-in closet and large reading nook. You can stay in sunny Poipu but Princeville is absolutely gorgeous and so lush and tropical compared to anywhere southeast even just 10 miles away. Pool is small but pretty and there is a hot tub that can fit 8 people comfortably. Good views of the pool area from the master balcony but no views of the nearby stunning mountains or ocean. That would have placed this property over the top. Still overall very pleased with the property and highly recommend it.

My family of 6 had a great time at this property. It was clean, spacious and well stocked with everything you need to cook meals, spend a day at the beach or just relax. This was our first time staying on this side of the island. We enjoyed every minute of it. Also wanted to give a shout out to the property management, specifically Oksana. She went out of her way to help when the ice maker quit working. Thank you! We will stay again!

Property was very clean and very relaxing! We went on walks and saw a few people in the neighborhood but on a whole we felt like we were the only ones there. Location was close to a cute town square area where the post office, bank and cute shops and grocery store. We stopped there every morning for ice water and snacks and occasionally we had a meal in that area. Loved the restaurant “The Spot” had organic local foods and offered gluten free items.
We hung out in Hanalei and loved it there.
The house was wonderful and the location made our stay amazing!
I hope to come back and I would love to stay here again!

Property was very clean and very relaxing! We went on walks and saw a few people in the neighborhood but on a whole we felt like we were the only ones there. Location was close to a cute town square area where the post office, bank and cute shops and grocery store. We stopped there every morning for ice water and snacks and occasionally we had a meal in that area. Loved the restaurant “The Spot” had organic local foods and offered gluten free items.
We hung out in Hanalei and loved it there.

The kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals. It rained a lot while we were here, but the bright condo felt sunny, and there are three covered lanais to enjoy the breezes.
The owners provide plenty of beach chairs, snorkel gear and if you have little ones, loads of sandcastle building toys!
The condo complex is well maintained and is centrally located in Princeville. There is a pretty pool area with a tucked away hot tub. Sadly for us the pool was closed for half of our stay for maintenance. But with all the beaches nearby we had plenty of water time.
The property manager was very responsive and helpful.

Second, owners were quick in responding to all our questions. Third, when we arrived the place was actually bigger then we expected and fit our family of 6 perfectly. The home was clean and most everything we needed for the beach. I’d recommend looking into renting or purchasing surf boards or boogie boards for the week since the ones here are mostly broken, but it was nice having beach chairs, sand toys and towels already provided. This property does have a nice pool area but given we came for the beach we didn’t spend much time there. Princeville is a bit of a drive from the airport, and as far as food options go, there’s not too much close by or most places close at 6pm. We stopped at the Walmart in Lihue to get groceries and snacks with intentions of eating out once a day. This worked well for our group. Hanalei Bay and the small town is a great area especially if you luck out with sunny weather. Not too mention it’s a fairly short drive from this location. We would recommend this property and would stay here again!
