We stayed here for Miatas at the GAP. The owner was friendly. The house was clean, cute, comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner provided items in the rental that kept us from needing to run to the store. The driveway could be a challenge for some, but all our Miatas made it up the hill.

The property was exactly what we were looking for. Being animal lovers. We were greeted with a few very well behaved pups that stayed on property the entire stay. We enjoyed our time in the mountains and the atmosphere was perfect. The description does state that the driveway could be a challenge for some, we definitely took on that challenge with ease. If you are hauling a trailer we recommend you have 4x4😍. If we had to recommend any changes it would be the to replace the mattresses as they were not horrible they were not the most comfortable. We will definitely be returning.

We had the greatest time! This property is secluded, back in the woods!
Our family had an amazing spring break experience! Yes we had to drive to Tennessee but it was totally worth not being right on top of your neighbors and the kids could enjoy themselves outside without me telling them to keep it down! Beautiful place also! Well kept and clean! I couldn't have picked a better place for 4 teenagers!

Beautiful!!!!
Wow, can’t say enough good things about this home. We booked this house because it was the last available one for our dates with a hot tub. And it was smack dab in the middle of everything we wanted to do on our vacation! I am so glad that this was the one we picked. This host has thought of EVERYTHING! From sugar and coffee to a pack-n-go! The inside is immaculate and very well stocked – no need to bring anything but cloths and food. It is within a 2-hour drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We went to the Titanic Museum (plan for about 2 hours to walk around on the audio guided tour) and the Hatfield and McCoy Dinner show. I am a big Titanic fan and they still surprised me with the facts they share during the tour, you get to see what the rooms and ship looked like also feel how cold it was outside and they even have water that you can try to stick your hand into to see how cold it was that night. They show you so many things that I could not list them all. At the Show the food was fantastic, seating was a little tight (We are both on the bigger side) but it worked, and it was a fantastic show with audience participation. Only 30-45 min away from Cherokee with the big casino (We did not win big LOL). And a short drive to the Tail of the dragon. I highly recommend going through the tail of the dragon (Slowly!!!!) and then cutting across towards Gatlinburg through the Great Smoky National Park. Along this road you will see many Vista points, Drive alongside an amazing river that we stopped off for pictures several times. We even saw waterfalls!!! The waterfalls are right beside the road and you just pull of and enjoy. The Hot Tub was a blessing at the end of the long but enjoyable days we were there. Put on some music and had a relaxing evening with some shine and wine we got while exploring downtown Gatlinburg. We also stopped in Blue Ridge at the Orchard/Store they had there for some goodies for the ride home. I would recommend everything we did on our trip. One of the best trips I have been on. We will defiantly stay here again!

First time using VRBO and it won’t be the last
We had a wonderful experience using VRBO. The rental was perfect for my wife and I to relax. The property owners were there if we needed anything. The rental was fully stocked with anything you could think of to make your stay more enjoyable. We loved the hot tub and the bed was comfortable. Everything was perfect. And a special thanks to mrs Williams for making this trip unforgettable.

Our Happy Place!
The lush forest, nearby hiking, the sounds of a babbling brook and songbirds, the canopy of stars - everything I love about WNC is right here at Yellow Mountain. Our host was great and we'll be back.

not the greatest
i had to clean the tub and remove a giant hairball from the drain before the tub would drain and i could actually take a shower.
there was a puddle of water in the fridge and all of my food kept getting wet because there was a leak
the internet was terrible most of the time we could not get internet nor watch tv

Pleasant, comfortable and inviting
I took my other half there to celebrate his 55th birthday. We rode out to ride the Tail of the Dragon. It was the peaceful getaway for us to enjoy our time alone. Definitely will return.

A Perfect Getaway!
Yellow Creek cabin was a beautiful and relaxing place to visit. The cabin was spacious and clean, with lots of room but cozy feeling also. The view is spectacular and with a creek nearby, the sound of running water made sitting outside so peaceful. The hosts, Revonda and Jerry were awesome people who made our stay that much better. The family had fun at the trout pond also! Overall, an excellent place to stay!

Pictures can't do this experience justice... The peaceful drive into this country home was only the beginning of our total unwind of the crazy world. We booked this home with the intention of just seeing some beautiful fall colors and enjoying our 10-year wedding anniversary. The EXTRAS that this location brought - the thoughtful touches added by Revonda to this home, the sound of the waterfalls in the quiet evening, the beautiful location, everything within a very short drive without being right in the middle of all the hustle-and-bustle - absolute perfection. My husband and I are already looking at our calendars for our next vacation opportunity and this home will absolutely be on our list permanently.Revonda, thank you for making our 10-year anniversary so special!

Just as good as last time
Everything was clean except for the hot tub. But it wasn't extremely dirty. Just a little surface grime from the surrounding greenery that dried into the sides of the hot tub.

Perfect hideaway retreat
This was a great experience all around! It all started off hilariously when my husband and I went to the wrong place at first, but Revonda and her husband were helpful and great about our mistake.
The unit is so comfortable, cozy, inviting and sparkling clean. The owner has thought of all the little things... there was coffee, and fixins, a box of pastries on the table with honey and a welcome note, fully stocked kitchen, even a little jar with chargers in it, just in case you forgot yours! My husband and I were there for a lazy weekend and this place gave us just that.

Beautiful mountain gem perfect for a private getaway
Yellow Mountain Rental was exactly as advertised - clean inside, well stocked, and basically secluded. The interior looks exactly like the pictures and was very clean. It may not be evident from pictures, but this property sits very high above the road below. It is secluded - the only other visible house is across the street and at a much lower elevation, definitely not in a position to impact privacy at all. Satellite TV was fine and internet speeds were acceptable; we typically stream shows and were able to do so with no problem. This rental is well stocked with linens, toiletries, and basic kitchen essentials, moreso than most similar rentals we have stayed at in the past. We did most of our own cooking and enjoyed the stove, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The property also has a charcoal grill outside that is not pictured, as well as charcoal for grilling. Our favorite feature was the spacious hot tub. We enjoyed relaxing in it and watching the stars come out at night. The only complaint about this property is that a few of the windows - notably the front door and kitchen window - have no blinds/curtains on them. It really doesn't affect privacy because there is no way anyone would see inside unless they were standing on the front step, but it does affect the sensation of privacy when you're inside at night and it is dark out and there are no blinds to close. And this is only the case with a couple of windows; the rest have blinds. Finally, the property owner was very easy to get in touch with and always responded quickly to inquiries both before our trip and during it.

Anniversary retreat
My wife and I celebrated our 27th year together. This location is very secluded and there was absolutely NO cell service. We enjoyed unwinding and we walked daily. The owners did a good job renovating my his place. Don’t let the trailer cause you to shun this spot.

Best Mountain Stay Ever.
We had the best time here. We were here for NAYO. Tribal Youth baseball tournament. This was the best property we have ever vacationed at. Everything was spot on, perfectly clean, such gracious hosts we had, the Williams will make you feel like you are a friend. Oerfect place to stay with children we enjoyed the outdoor of the property and inside. They have thought of everything. My family and I will definitely be returning to yellow mountain cabin. It felt like home.

Delightful, fulfilling stay with my son.
The place emwas nice and secluded, well decorated and equipped, and roomy. The hot tub worked great and we enjoyed catching a fish, grilling, and enjoying firepit smores. Communication from the owners was great and they wet kind enough to leave us a goody basket and to mail an item we accidentally forgot. We'll be back.

I really did love the stay.
Revonda and her husband were really helpful and always responded quickly whenever we needed. The pictures dont do the surroundung mountain justice especially in the early morning. Theyre just beautiful. The welcoming comittee was also great, it consisted of three sweet doggos, one of which was nicknamed crack.

Awesome ,very close to the activities we were engaged in , clean, owners are great people,
For trout fishing and grouse hunting you couldn't get any closer , just make sure your brakes on your vehicle are in tip top shape. We'll be continuing our 38 year mountain trip tradition by using this property in the future

The place was really clean and the owner went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and that we had everything we needed . The views are amazing from the front porch . This place is secluded and you have to drive about 30 mins back into town . We can't wait to come back and stay again .

This property delivered far more then expected! The property is surrounded by mountains and the view is breathtaking. The owners where extremely hospitable, almost everything we needed to have a good stay was already there as if it was our own home! The jacuzzi was perfect after a long day of riding. We were smack dab in the middle of everything in the area. The tail of the dragon is just a little over 6 miles away!!! IF YOU ARE TOWING BIKES be sure to come in off route 129 not route 28 as 28 is a very steep climb if you are pulling a lot of weight. I could go on and on about this hidden gem!!! All in all this place was everything we hoped for and much more!!!!!!!!!

What a wonderful vacation rental. The pictures (although nice) don't do this rental justice. It's a centrally located spot for a day of motorcycle riding on Cherahola and the dragon. The hot tub is brand new with a view of the mountain. It is hot that far from a delicious meal at Tapoco Lodge. The owner definitely makes you feel like a guest and has gone to great links to male sure you have everything you need.
