The beautiful surroundings and laid-back atmosphere have drawn artists to the area in droves. Indoor types will find plenty to do touring galleries, including the Sedona Arts Center, which showcases world-class exhibits and local artists.
Those interested in ancient ruins and anthropology will be awestruck by the area's natural rock formations and preserved remains of old cultures. Visitors can hike past the ruins of the Sinagua Indian on the Boynton Canyon Trail or check out the unique geological deposits at Rachel's Knoll. The Grand Canyon is just a few hours away. In the winter skiing and snow play is available 45 miles up the I-17 freeway to Snow Bowl at Flagstaff.
The natural beauty and peace that comes with a visit to Sedona make it a worthwhile journey for any traveler.

If you are looking for a great vacation home with gorgeous views of the Red Rocks this is the place for you. The home is secluded on a cul de sac lot that backs to Forest Land. There is a constant parade of wildlife including deer and quail. A big plus is the views are great from both inside and out so you can enjoy them in any type of weather. Inside there are very comfortable chairs, couches and beds. The home is well equipped including ice chests. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a small meal or a big feast. The gas grill is great. There is a very nice grocery store and several great restaurants a couple miles away. Pat and Victor have done great job of making this a truly enjoyable vacation home. We wish all vacation rentals were all this nice.

We were skeptical the terrific views in the VRBO pictures were accurate. We drove up prior to our stay to confirm. The house was rented. Andy and Amy were nice enough to let us look around. They said they liked the home so much they had extended their stay for a second month. The pictures did not lie. In fact they do not do the view justice. We, and our guests, were amazed and fell in love with the incredible red rock views from inside and out. Even the secondary bedroom is great as it overlooks a bird feeder which attracts the quail. We saw baby quail almost every day. The deer visited often. It is difficult to find vacation rentals that allow pets. We were fortunate Victor and Pat do so we were able to take our dog. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be able to do it again in the near future.

A lot of the property descriptions say they have great views of the Red Rocks but this home actually does. Built up into the rocks you can see Thunder Mountain, Cathedral Rock and Castle Rock from inside and outside. This is a big plus so you can enjoy the view in any type of weather. The location is super quiet as it is on a cul de sac lot that backs to Forest Land. The owners planted apple trees so deer come by often. There are bird feeders for the hummingbirds, quail, cardinals and doves. All the furniture is very comfortable and the mattresses are high quality. The home is well equipped with a gas grill, fully stocked kitchen, including a crock pot, and tons of dishes. It seems like you are way out in the country but there is a great grocery store and restaurants just a few minutes away. We wish all vacation homes lived up to their descriptions and were this well maintained.
COVID-19 cleaning - all linens, bed spreads and bath mats washed. All hard surfaces cleaned with Clorox cleaner or vinegar and water. Typically there are 2 days or more between rentals.

Stunning Sedona Views -- Serene and Tranquil home in the heart of the Red Rocks
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay earlier this month in Sedona at this lovely home. When we had relatives from the east coast visiting for a 'Bucket List' trip to the Grand Canyon, I told them we definitely needed to include a visit to Sedona. After enjoying the awe and wonder of the Grand Canyon, we spent the rest of tour time at Pat & Victor's home in the Village of Oak Creek. As it turned out, our stay in Sedona became the highlight of our trip.
We were all able to relax, unwind and my guests were able to enjoy feeling like they were at home -- getting up early to have coffee on the deck, marveling at the majestic views from every area of the house, and sitting outside in the evenings to watch the stars!!! In fact, everyone was willing to pitch in to help with meals & dishes, just to get to enjoy the fantastic view from the kitchen window.
Pat has thought of everything -- the home has a spacious and well-appointed kitchen, with everything you will need if you decide you want a home-cooked meal. The gas grill, conveniently located just outside the dining area on upper deck was perfect for a evening meal on the patio after a long day sight-seeing.
The location of the home is perfect -- we had access to everything we needed in terms of ammenities, without the hassle of dealing with the Sedona traffic. As noted, it is located very close to many of the popular hiking trails and the Chapel in the Rocks.
My guests were so in love with this home -- they kept saying, "If I owned this beautiful place, I would live here all the time." I definitely plan to come back again.
Thanks to Pat & Victor for providing great tips for restuarants, information on hiking, and other points of interests in the local area.

Great views, quiet location, beautiful trees and landscaping
We truly loved sitting on the deck for breakfast, listening to the bird song, and gazing at Castle and Cathedral Rocks. The storm clouds and lightening were spectacular over the red rocks as was the late afternoon glow. We are from Wisconsin, love trees and green, and really appreciated the greenery we has had in front of us as we sat at the windows or on the deck. The beauty of the area never grew old. Our six weeks went by in a blink.
The hiking on this side of town was very good and you can avoid the busiest trail heads and still have an excellent walk. Plenty of good restaurants right in Oak Creek Village and of course more in Sedona proper.
The house was well equipped. We lacked for nothing. One does need to take note of the large number of steps (20) required to access the house from the front and from inside the garage. They proved a challenge for my wife and for some friends who visited.
We made a number of trips to Cottonwood via the southern route. Groceries/liquor are much cheaper there and Old Cottonwood is a bit less "Aspenized" than Sedona, yet still interesting.
Dealing with Pat, the owner, was always easy. She is thorough, clear, and reasonable in her expectations and explanations. We just did what was requested and our deposit was returned within a week of our departure.
We will return to Sedona, but, unfortunately, the stairs will require us to look to another site. Our thanks to Pat for sharing her home.

Super comfortable house with great views!
This is a great home! It is on a quiet cul de sac and backs to Forest Land. Much better than the congested West Sedona. Grocery store and several restaurants are a short drive. Cottonwood has great shopping and restaurants and is an easy drive by going the back way. Terrific views from the deck or inside during storms. The owners have thought of everything. The sheets and towels are high quality. Not the cheap stuff you usually see in hotels.Kitchen has lots of appliances, cookware and even included spices. If you can't find it you probably don't need it.

Serenity At Its Best
Our first visit to Sedona was absolutely magical due to the lovely and comfortable home. We were looking for peace and quiet and this house delivered on all fronts. We enjoyed the views, the hummingbirds and the tranquility of the neighborhood. It was easy access to the Village of Oak Creek and to our favorite hiking trail, Baldwin to the Cathedral Rock. The owners,Pat and Victor, were very welcoming and very helpful with their suggestions. We'll definitely be back!

Pure Heaven
My husband and I had the pleasure of staying in this beautiful home for two months and the best way I can describe the experience is pure Heaven. The house is lovely and very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the fabulous fireplace on chilly nights. The deck was fantastic for those warm days. The view is outstanding. We have stayed in Sedona many times in the past and this, by far, was our favorite location. The neighborhood is very quiet which we loved; it was a lot like being home in the country. The hiking out the back door was unbelievable. I am a photographer and what could be better than a bird feeding station right out the office window and a view out the front of the morning balloon rides. Our cat, Jade, felt very much at home and loved the house as much as we did. The friendly owner, Pat, made us feel so welcome and gave us a tour of her beautiful home as soon as we arrived, making sure we knew where everything was and how it worked. We will be back next year to once again enjoy this perfect place in Sedona.

Fantastic Setting for our Sedona Adventure
We were very happy with this home for our stay in Sedona. I am a painter, so was really attracted to the promise of red rock views from the cathedral windows in the property description. We were not disappointed. The views were incredible and the house is top notch. Being able to paint while having my morning coffee was a real treat. It was fun to stay in a home rather than an impersonal hotel room.
The home is nicely furnished with fresh paint and carpeting and lounge chairs everywhere to sit and enjoy the view. The only problem was that it is so cozy, it's difficult to get going in the morning. It is centrally located for hiking, drives, restaurants and the like. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the deck and barbecue, which also have the wonderful view. Pat, the owner, was very helpful in being sure that we had everything we needed. She guided us to the local grocery shopping, restaurants and also provided a very comprehensive binder of nearby destinations and activities.
We enjoyed trips to Montezuma's Castle and well, hiking at Natural Bridge, petroglyphs at V-Bar V Ranch, driving to the top of Schnebbly Road and sunsets at the airport and on the ridge near the high school and highly recommend the trip to Verde Canyon on the Verde Canyon Railway. We didn't make a dent in all the things we still want to see.
We feel very fortunate to have been able to enjoy this home for our Sedona stay and will definitely use it again for our next trip.

Great weather to enjoy the fireplace
January brings cool days and crisp nights in Sedona. As long as the sun is out the days are perfect for hiking. The crisp evenings make it a perfect time to have a fire in the fireplace.

Weekend Overnight
What a beautiful location and view. A lovely maintained home with all the comforts one could look for to get away and relax. Close to all the attractions that Sedona has to offer but with the advantage of not leaving the house. I would strongly recommend this property.

Stunning views and Relaxing atmosphere
I have personally stayed at this home on numerous occasions. There is nothing greater than sitting out on the deck in the evening, or having a cup of coffee in the morning, looking at the most beautiful nature in the world. Sedona is the only place you can get this kind of breathtaking beauty, and this house has a ringside seat! You won't regret staying here...

Sedona Vacation
I have stayed at this home several times. The best thing about it are the terrific red rock views. Next is the wildlife. The bird watchers will enjoy the quail, blue jays, humming birds, cardinals, owls and more. There are coyotes, deer and javelina and the occasional bobcat. This home will make your visit to Sedona very enjoyable.

The perfect retreat with a 2 million view:-)
I recently had the pleasure of spending a couple of days at this property and fell in love with its location (very quiet and secluded, yet minutes from amenities and Sedona) and its wonderful deck where you can sit in a comfy cushioned swing and admire the picture perfect red rock views! The home is tastefully decorated and you will wish your stay would last forever:-) I have gone to Sedona for the last 25 yrs and rarely stayed anywhere as peaceful as this home!
