About this house rental
The 3 bedroom and 1.5 bath is part of a 4 bedroom house. This portion of the house has a separate entrance from the one bedroom and one bath in the basement.
The property is only a few short distances away from downtown Colorado Springs, Manitou Springs, Monument, and Garden of the Gods...
You will have access to the whole house except for the basement since the basement is a separate living unit itself and the host lives there.
The living room is furnished with a leather sectional, a 50 in flat screen LED HDTV
The house is furnished with a dining room sitting for 6.
Fully stock kitchen with white appliances
Kitchen is furnished with utensils and plates serving for 8
There is a 15-piece knife set and knife block
Pot and pan set for your cooking
All the bedrooms are upstairs.
The master bedroom is furnished with king size bed and memory foam mattress and 4 king size pillows. There is a leather chair for you to sit and read when you feel like reading a good book or just want to enjoy the mountain view from the bedroom. It is also furnished with a tall dresser for you to store personal items during your stay. It also has a trunk for you to layout your clothes to get ready for work or outing or when you get home from a long day adventuring or work. The master bedroom is connected to the 4 piece bath. So, it can be considered an en suite.
The second bedroom is furnished with queen size bed/mattress and 2 memory foam cluster pillows.
The third bedroom is furnished with a full size bed/mattress and 2 memory foam cluster pillows.
A four-piece full bath is shared by all bedroom upstairs.
There is a half bath on the main level.
Towels and linens are provided as part of your stay
House keeping can be requested with an extra fee ($215
/occurrence)
There is only one TV outlet and that is the living room.
This home is furnished with 1 TV, peacock streaming device, and Hi-speed Internet.
Wi-Fi is available inside the property (password will be provided after you check in)
Check in time is at 4pm and Check out time is at 10am. Late checkout is possible if there is no same day check in.
I will be checking the guests in and out, so that will be the extension on the required interaction. However, if I am one of the one living in the other unit during your stay and you wish to interact, I will be more than happy to do so. I understand you may want your privacy, so interaction with me other than checking in and out is not required :-).
The neighborhood:
This is a nice neighborhood. It is closed to many things (restaurants, shops, hospitals, and movie theaters). So, it is appropriate for all types of out of town people and/or travelers (for business or for pleasure).
For getting around, you will need a vehicle to get to other cities. That being said, the neighborhood is in walking distance to shops and such, if you enjoy walking. Because you will need a vehicle to get around, there is only ONE assigned parking spot that comes with your reservation. There are guest parking spots but that is only allowable until 10 pm. After that, it will be towed at owner’s expense.
My property is less than 2 miles from St. Francis Medical center and less than 3.0 miles from Memorial Hospital North. It is 20-30 minutes to a few Air Force bases.
The property can be leased for daily, weekly or monthly. Please contact me for further information or rates and terms (for longer term than daily or weekly). I do have discounts for longer lease terms (please contact owner for monthly rate).
House manual/rules/terms:
You are to take out the trash during your stay and before you check out. You are to keep the house clean in the condition you receive it.
If you stay here 7 days or longer, please wash the sheet and towels and vacuum the place.
The “shoe at the door” policy is strictly enforced. If you need to wear shoes in the house, then my property is not a match for you.
I also have a no pet and no smoking policies that are strictly enforced. If you do not honor the house rules, you are to forfeit your deposit and for the violation of the no smoking rule, you are to be assessed an extra amount of $500 to get the place cleaned up and this is the amount on top of the cleaning fee. If you do not want to honor my house rules, then my property is not a match for you.
Trash is collected on every Wednesday, so if you are the guests here, please take trash out and put it in the front of the property for pick up.

My adult children and I enjoyed our stay in this large townhouse. The beds were comfortable and the upstairs bathroom was bright and spacious. We used the large kitchen every evening and the dining area accommodated family and friends. The couch was especially comfortable.

This property was a disappointment from start to finish. When we signed up to book the townhome, the owner emailed back “Oh I was just going to increase the price for that weekend – will you split the difference?” We agreed and the price increase $30.00 a night. Five days before our stay, she sent us a 12 page release/rules of the house. Most outrageous was only the 4 people staying there could enter the house – no substituting the 4! We have stayed in other VRBO’s and never had to sign anything like this. Two of the people that had to sign lived out of town so had to get them to sign it and get it back to us. The next day she texted about getting it back and had to be signed before our stay.
On arrival to the Denver airport, I received a text about check in. The owner said she’d meet us there at 4:00. We told her we were planning to go to our son’s house and visit with them and then check in. She informed us that she checks her guests in and does an orientation, then she kept texting to see when we were coming. My husband went over to pick up the key and she went over the rules and then indicated we would have to do a walk thru on leaving!
When we went over, we found the place dirty, weekly garbage cans were in the living room, coffee maker was filthy, beds and pillows were very uncomfortable, sheets cheap and more rules posted on the refrigerator. The owner said she cleans the place herself. Everything above her height was filthy. The Carbon monoxide detector was on the 2nd floor above head height and the smoke detector had its battery removed. Both safety hazards.
The only positive was it was close to our son’s home. We were hoping to find a place where we could return when we visit him. We would never use this place again or recommend it to anyone!

Perfect for what I needed
The neighborhood was nice and quiet and the house was very clean. The property adequately served the purpose for what we needed (full kitchen and and place to sleep). The only draw back we had was that the AC had a hard time keeping the upstairs cool. That said, the owner recognized the issue and installed fans for the short term and is researching other solutions for the long term.

Very nice property in great area
Had all the amenities that we needed. Host was responsive to inquiries. Was great location if visiting Air Force Academy. Very walkable (we walked to Starbucks most mornings for coffee). Had many paved walking paths through neighborhoods and to commercial areas in addition to large open natural areas. King Sooper close by for groceries. Larger stores like Walmart and Target within 10 minutes or so.

High Altitude fun
We enjoyed our stay at this property. We were there for In-processing for our daughter at USAFA. It was a great location to come and go to the Academy and other tourist locations. The house was neat, tidy and comfortable. Madelene was a great host! When we had some personal problems come up and had to leave early, she was very accommodating. I would recommend this house for your next visit to Colorado Springs.

Excellent town home close to most things in Colorado Springs
Great experience in this home, the 3 bedroom layout fit my family of 6 perfectly. Without a doubt the cleanest property we've ever stayed in. Madelene even let us use her 2nd parking space for most of the week, which was a real help to us. I recommend this property highly and there's a good chance we'll stay here again the next time we're in Colorado Springs.

Very nice, comfy beds
We had a very nice stay. The condo was a perfect location for us! The place is very clean and the beds were quite comfortable. One thing to note if traveling with kids as we were, is that there isn’t any green space or any areas for the kids to be outside. Otherwise we had everything we needed and she did help us with getting a gate for one of the flights of stairs. We were pleased 😊

Clean House
What a clean home! This house was just the right size for our family of 4. It is also very easy to get to all the attractions in Colorado Springs! Whenever we had questions, the owner was just a text away. She always responded very quickly.

Affordable property in a great location!
The host is very kind and my family of 5 enjoyed our stay. The location is great and you can see the mountains outside the door. The price is very fair. It is an established town home community and you will have some traffic coming and going but we had no problems with any of the surrounding tenants. If in the area we would stay there again.
