This was a beautiful home for our girls weekend! Super clean and very well appointed. Diana, the host, was extremely quick to respond to any questions we had. Would highly recommend.

Our entire group enjoyed staying at the Turkeyfoot Inn. One small item: the lighting was rather dim particularly on the cloudy day. Maybe an additional lamp in the parlor and workspace lights in kitchen. Thanks for an enjoyable time!

We had a wonderful two-day stay with family at the Turkeyfoot Inn. Everything was terrific and the house is well-equipped and comfortable. We would definitely love to return. Thank you!

Our girls weekend was made even better with trouble-free accommodations. The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything we could need. The train did come through the area a few times per day but it wasn't obnoxious. The earplugs left in the bedrooms were a nice touch though! We'll definitely be back when the weather is warmer so we can take advantage of the rear deck and fire pit.

Very nice old home, nicely maintained and updated. Great location on riverbank, enjoyed afternoon on the expansive deck with outdoor kitchen. Worked well for family gathering and holiday meal prep. Confluence great location for outdoor activities, really enjoyed area. We hope to come back during summer months

This property is stunning! We stayed in the full house with 4 bedrooms. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was beyond fully stocked with any appliance, gadget, or cutlery you could need. But the most incredible part is the outdoor deck area. It's HUGE with plenty of seating, an outdoor kitchen area with sinks and other appliances, two chaise lounges, and a fenced-off portion for your dog should you choose to bring it! The views of the Casselman River are beautiful, as well. There are trains that come by, but they didn't wake any of us, and my kids got a kick out of them. Dianna and her son Troy were both extremely accommodating and quick to respond with any questions I had. Overall, it was an amazing weekend in a beautifully restored house from the 1800s!

The house was in a great location. We had everything we needed there and could walk to places where the boys can fish and I could pick up groceries. Looking forward to coming back.

Great home for a family.
We enjoyed our stay in this home very much. My grandsons thought the house was great. The large outside deck is wonderful and there is even a very nice volleyball net and ball in the spacious backyard. The house is very clean and well appointed and decorated. I highly recommend this home. Would like to stay again.

Relaxing
The property was very nice. The train does come by often but you get use to it. Everything we did was in Ohiopyle so we drove back and forth a couple of times a day. It was about 20 min away.

Just lovely
We had a week away for a groups of colleagues to read and study and get away. Diana and the Turkeyfoot was just what we needed! Beautiful views, and enough space for us to each have our own space! Highly recommend!

Great Riverfront House
Took the family to the Yough lake region. Great house for a family or even 2. House is clean, neat, well taken care of. Has all amenities you can think of. Owner very attentive at all times. Deck is super awesome with outdoor bar and great views. 1 or 2 block walk to town, easy access to bike trail. Be prepared for loud trains, though. Will likely stay here again.

Great Stay in Confluence
This property was lovely - right on the water - and the owner could not have been more helpful. She even loaned us her own umbrellas. The place was sparkling clean. Would definitely recommend.

Fantastic property
My wife, three children and I had a terrific stay at the property. Terrific view of the adjacent waterway, peaceful area, good proximity to Ohiopyle and many other regional attractions. The house is very clean and pleasant, with an awesome deck to spend the mornings and evenings. We were taken by surprise by the adjacent railroad, which was very loud and ran several times each night and day, but we got used to the noise after the first night. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely consider going back again soon. Thanks Diana!

Family Get Together
This place is fantastic! Clean, warm and well stocked. My family stayed here for a long weekend and we loved everything about the place. We spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the view. The grandchildren loved the backyard and the river. If you are looking for a relaxing place to stay you can't go wrong with Turkeyfoot. Thanks for everything Diana!

Loved the deck!
The four bedroom house was perfect for my entire family while we enjoyed Ohiopyle. The house was very clean and the deck was where we loved to eat and play games in the evening. The trains were a little loud, but we loved our stay anyway.

Great town, great manager
Confluence is the perfect spot for anyone who wants to experience the outdoors in Southwestern PA, and avoid the crowds of Ohiopyle.
This property is perfect for a family or group of friends. The outdoor kitchen/firepit area is a great place to hang out, and becomes increasing essential the more people you have! Though the property is located directly across from train tracks, there is nowhere in Confluence where you'd be able to avoid the whistle. Didn't bother my family or our 2 year old daughter at all.

Wonderful!
We had a wonderful stay at Diana's lovely home. It is decorated beautifully, spacious, and extremely comfortable- including the mattresses! Diana was a very gracious hostess and very gracious and helpful. Unfortunately it was cold and rainy for most of our visit so we didn't get to enjoy the amazing deck, or the nearby hiking and biking trails, but we did get to use the firepit our last night and our teen daughters enjoyed making s'mores. We definitely recommend staying at Diana's and will plan to stay again if we are visiting the area.

Beautifully restored century home, well appointed and equipped
Owner Diana and son Troy have done a magnificent job with this property, joining several old structures with a large connecting deck perfect for outdoor eating (and grilling) with a nice view of the river. Kitchen is modern and well-equipped, Plenty of sitting space in and out, I gave the stay 4 stars not for any shortcomings with the accommodations—just for the problem the town of Confluence has with the number of trains passing right through town thru the night. if you are not a sound sleeper this can make for a rough stay. I’m not sure other towns along the GAP trail would be any different since the train line was the lifeway for these towns, and apparently still is.

Lovely Home, Beautiful View, Lots To Do
When we arrived at the house, we found it to be very clean and decorated so lovely. Diana takes the time to do the extras, which we appreciated. The deck is fabulous and the view is beautiful. As in a previous review, the trains are loud, but we also got used to it. We found everything we needed in the small town, including a bicycle shop just up the street. Our family of five enjoyed our stay there very much. We hope to return in the future.

Absolutely amazing housing and scenery.
The property was beautiful. House was well kept and had all the essentials you need. The owner stops by to make sure everything is alright. The outside deck and kitchen was amazing. Only downside is the trains. But you get use to it. At least we did. Plenty of room for everyone. I will DEFINITELY be back!!

Cozy and beautifully decorated
We stayed here for a long weekend and had a wonderful time. The home is totally renovated and everything was fresh. My 86 year old mother joined us at the last minute and Diana really went put of her way to accommodate her . I would 100 percent recommend staying here if you want a quiet weekend away

Great property with lovely owners
Our family spent a very relaxing and enjoyable weekend with a beautiful view of the river, plenty of sleeping space for our large family of 8, clean and cute rooms with comfortable beds within minutes of OhioPyle, while enjoying the small town of Confluence that allowed us to plan for a last minute family picnic when we realized we had enough room to invite family staying at another location over to enjoy the grill and deck as an entire family. Thank you Diana for a lovely weekend, my father was thrilled.

Beautiful house and beautiful views
My friends and I stayed here for a weekend, and we enjoyed everything about it. Diana was so helpful with everything. The views from the deck were spectacular, especially in the mornings and evenings. The location was perfect for getting to Ohiopyle to go rafting and hiking. I definitely recommend staying here.

Area and view from this property was beautiful and peaceful. The house was very inviting.
My family of 8 recently went on a short vacation and planned to stop in Ohiopyle to whitewater raft on our return home. We found this property, and though reluctant at first to book this place because of the other house right next to this one, the view and river right in the back yard win us over, and we decided to book it. Upon arriving at the house, it wasn't quite what we expected as the pictures make the property seem like it's in the middle of nowhere, but actually it is right in a small town. This was not a bad thing, as there is a playground close by, cafes, grocery store, restaurants, and ice cream--all just down the road from the house. We walked to several things in town during our 2 day stay. Diana was there waiting on us when we arrived, and everything was clean and very neatly kept. The back deck/kitchen is very nice, and the bedrooms in the house were pretty and very comfortable. It was nice to be able to have space at the end of the day where everyone could relax inside or out. We would definitely recommend this property to others.

Lovely Inn and owner
Our family enjoyed the turkeyfoot inn. Diana was very accommodating and helpful. The deck is amazing with an awesome view of the river. Our kids loved running around back there. There is a train that goes by frequently, that the four year-old loved! We came to go whitewater rafting, and it was a quick drive to Ohiopyle! We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely!
Our family enjoyed a week here and found the accommodations to be wonderful. Linda is gracious and was so helpful in suggesting daytrips in the area. Our rooms were exceptionally clean and the deck was such a peaceful place to spend time. It is right on the Casselman River and close to the GAP trail, hiking, and lots of fun water activities. It is right by the CSX rail line so you will hear trains at night but the location was perfect for us. I would highly recommend it and we hope to come back for another visit.

Unique accomodations close to plenty of outdoor activities
This property is unique as it is 2 separate houses with lots of space. The house we stayed in had 3 bedrooms on the 2nd floor with 1 bathroom and there were 2 rooms in the attic but the only access it through the bathroom on the 2nd floor. There is a half bath on the first floor as you walk in the door with a common room to the right with a tv, plenty of movies, a couch, small table and chairs.
On our visit, we had 7 people (3 couples and 1 young adult). The bedroom my husband and I used was nice. The bed is queen sized, however there must be some plastic over the mattress as it got a little warm. The bed was a little above average and the room was a good size. One of the other bedrooms (had 2 windows) was quite warm causing the guests to depart a day early. They just couldn't get comfortable and had some other places to visit so they decided to leave. I heard no complaints about the 3rd room. Diana was a true pleasure before and during our stay and very accommodating. She is easily reachable and a true delight.
If you are just passing through on the bike trail or are planning to spend a few nights, you should definitely check out this property. Be advised, there is a train that goes by and some may be bothered by the noise, but it didn't bother me ...
