Welcome to Jackson Wyoming! This basement studio apartment is one of the closest rentals to the famous Town Square with it's Elkhorn arches listed on VRBO! With only a 1 block stroll to town square you will find yourself surrounded in all the excitement including fine dining, an explosion of art galleries, old western antiques and relics, shopping, and a fascinating Wild West history.

Overview:
This darling miniature basement studio apartment in the heart of downtown is VERY SMALL with only 400 sq. feet. It is in the basement of a "mixed-use" building with a dental office on the main floor and an architectural firm on the top floor. The dental office is open Monday-Friday (7:00 am - 5:00 pm). You will hear noises from the dental office during this time. Nothing too loud. I provide white noise machines and earplugs in all of my apartments if this is an issue for you. However, you will find it to be cozy, complete, and very clean. In the beginning of June 2016 it underwent a new remodel including new flooring, paint, artwork, and an extremely comfortable new queen mattress which is replaced every 2 years. The small bathroom does have a full tub\shower with unlimited hot water. This unit is professionally cleaned by a local cleaning service and is well-maintained.

As the photos illustrate there are 2 large windows (with no views however) giving plenty of light. It is nothing like a traditional cold, dark, and dingy basement. Enjoy feet-warming heated floors. AC is not included, but rarely needed. It does come with a nice fan to circulate air and create "white noise" if desired.
The kitchen area is complete with a full-size stove and fridge. It has a microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, and everything you need to create your favorite meal (pots, pans, and cooking utensils). It does not have a dishwasher.

Parking: For those of you who have driven to Jackson before, know that parking close to downtown can be a challenge and a real headache. Problem solved! There is free parking in the parking lot behind the building, so you can leave your vehicle in a safe location as you stroll on foot around Jackson. Regular sized vehicles only- no vehicles with trailers. Upon your stay, you will quickly recognize the value of this coveted downtown parking. If you do not have a car this apartment is close to the bus stop and taxi station. Again, this unit is ideal for those wanting to walk and enjoy downtown Jackson.

Yummy: I hope you will take advantage of our local favorite "Persephone" bakery shop one-half block away. The luring aroma of their exquisite pastries and treats will leave you anticipating your return. Their delightful breakfast is a great way to start the day.
There is a plethora of fine dining and wonderful restaurants within short walking distance.

We liked the room. Only stayed in it to sleep, due to long days at an event. But it was very comfortable, stocked with necessities and niceties. Was clean and bright. Would stay there again.

This was centrally located making it easy to enjoy Jackson as well as nearby parks and activities. Everything was clean and well stocked. Holly was very accommodating as I got the check in time wrong. Would certainly recommend.

Never made it to the property got caught up in the Friday 19th cloud strike debacle spoke with owner several times she was very good to work with and helping me resolve the situation Thank you Holly

Absolutely wonderful stay. Very close to a variety of different shops. We were able to walk everywhere very easily. Everything was nice and clean as well. We loved the information booklet with suggest places to visit.

The apartment was cozy but very functional; the host had many thoughtful additions like a fan and a white noise machine. Two blocks off the main square. Enjoyed our stay.

This unit offered such a lovely stay in Jackson. It's in such a convenient and central location in Jackson right along the main street. It's a basement unit but had adequate sunlight. The kitchen was so well-stocked with herbs and spices, which we really appreciated. It was also convenient to have coin-operated laundry down the hall. I visited for a ski trip and thought this was the perfect location - central within Jackson and only 20-30 minutes from Teton Village for the ski resort. Snow King is even closer, but we didn't check that out. Overall, the instructions and communication with the host were clear and the unit was clean and had everything you'd need for a party of 2.
