This newly renovated cottage is located in Seabrook's quiet Tarpon Pond neighborhood, and is conveniently located to the beach. Enjoy watching the golfers or Seabrook's plentiful wildlife from the bright and airy sun room or outside on the open deck. Relax with your family and friends in this nicely decorated cottage.
This cottage features an open dining/living area with cathedral ceilings and wood floors. There is a dining table that seats 6 - perfect for gathering around and sharing stories from your day. High ceilings and a fireplace create an airy atmosphere and the wall of windows in the sunroom let in plenty of light. The cottage is nicely decorated and furnished through out. The comfortable furnishings in the living room offer seating for everyone to gather around and watch shows on the large 70" screen HDTV. Off the living room is a large sunroom with a view to the Ocean Winds fairway through the live oak trees. The sunroom has a sofa and a dining table so you can enjoy breakfast and your morning coffee while watching the golfers go by. Just outside is the open deck equipped with a tall dining table, seating for four . The house has a brand new Weber Gas Grill and Charcoal Weber Kettle . The galley kitchen has granite countertops, white cabinets and appliances and is well stocked with all you'll need for cooking.
There are two bedrooms plus and a loft and three full bathrooms in this cottage. The master bedroom has a king size bed, a dresser for necessities, an HDTV and a en suite bath with a shower. The 2nd bedroom is brightly painted and has a brand new queen bed. The large hall bath with a shower/tub combo is just outside the door. Upstairs is a large loft with a full bed and a queen bed. The en suite bath has a shower and a small vanity with a mirror. The kids will love sharing this room! 542 Tarpon Pond is located 1 mile from Pelican Beach and North Beach. This is a wonderful cottage for your vacation with family and friends! You are welcome to bring along your (1) furry dog friend. Please note: Additional fees will apply.

Gate passes are $45/ vehicle. This charge applies if you are staying 1 night – 179 nights. If you are staying more than 179 nights, there is a different charge.
Gate pass car total is due 2 weeks prior to your arrival. Payment of $45/gate pass(es) is due at time of your final payment.
Any changes made less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival are non-refundable. If you add a gate pass less than 2 weeks prior to your arrival, a $10 additional fee will apply.

Amenity cards giving you access to the Seabrook Island Club are available for purchase. Additional fees are charged for all activities except outdoor pool usage.
If you cancel more than 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, you receive your funds back, minus $250. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival date, you lose your funds. If able to re-book it, you will receive what we rent it for, minus the $250. Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.
For monthly winter rentals the policy is as follows: For cancellation made up to 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $250.00 cancellation fee. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, all monies are forfeited. If able to rent the contracted dates after a cancellation, Guest will be refunded an amount equal to new rental rate minus the $250 Cancellation Fee. The amount refunded is not to exceed the amount paid by the Guest under the terms of the Rental Agreement.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful cottage on Seabrook. The location and space was great and I loved how stocked the unit was, it had everything we needed and more. The amenities offered were great. We loved the beach club and pool.

We enjoyed the house and everything worked great. It was very hot during our stay and we did notice at night that the HVAC unit could be loud in the master bedroom while we slept. Also the ice maker in the refrigerator was not very efficient and it was hard to rely on much ice being produced out of the refrigerator. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Loved the boho coastal decor and layout of the beach cottage! It has everything you need in the kitchen and bathrooms, including TP, paper towels, dishwasher soap etc. for the week.
The large round table is perfect for meals and playing games. The sun room and back deck were added spaces for us to hang out while the kids hung out in the living room. Having 3 bathrooms is rare and was great to have when coming home from the beach/pool. The loft area was perfect sleeping space for the kids. We have enjoyed Seabrook Island as our annual family trip for the last few years, especially since it's dog friendly. Our rescue pup Ziggy enjoyed his first time at the beach!

We enjoyed our family beach stay and will be returning to Seabrook Island in the future. Enjoyed the location to the beach club, biking and spending time in the cozy cottage with family and our dog.

The house is nice and quite and clean in a beautiful neighborhood with a great setting. The golf course is well manicured but very pricey. There is a charge for everything which just made us drive off the island to enjoy the area better and not get taken advantage of.

We really enjoyed our stay. The tarpon pond area has a nice neighborhood feel to it. The house was great, sunroom is a very comfortable relaxing spot. The amenities in terms of kitchen supplies was extremely good. Our only caution is the size of the kitchen. Very small and when you’re staying six weeks is was hard to cook in as much as we’d like. But, highly recommend this property.

We loved staying on Tarpon Pond. Perfect location for bike rides! My kids loved the loft. Unit has so many necessities. Management company was wonderful to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed here for a week and the house was great for what we needed. The living spaces are great and everyone was comfortable. The kitchen was small but worked for us. The only thing missing for us was an outdoor shower but not a deal breaker. We would stay here again!

We stayed at this property for a week and enjoyed the thoughtful and well stocked amenities. You just need to bring yourself and whatever food you need and you’re well on your way to your relaxing beach/golf vacation! Located a mile from the beach made it a quick drive or short bike ride. A great place to rest and recharge.

Great house would stay again
We really enjoyed this property. There was plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated that it had a regular coffee pot not just a Keureg. They had little extra things like games, nightlights and phone chargers that we had not seen at other rentals.

Winter Getaway
The house was clean, smelled great, and was in such a pretty/cozy little part of Seabrook. We were able to take multiple walks around the very quiet neighborhood. Close drive or decent walk to the beach. Only complaint was that when staying in the master bedroom the heater outside kicks on and off frequently and was quite loud and inconsistent with heating the house. Not a complaint about the house but if you’re a foodie, this location may not be where you want to visit-We wish there was more restaurants nearby but what we had locally was tasty.

The home is open, airy and a beach house to tee,( no pun intended, but it is on a golf course) large primary bedroom with an ensuite was comfortable to enjoy. The kitchen is a bit of a tight squeeze for two people but it had all the needed parts for preparing meals. A large comfortable living/dining area with a large tv served us in the evenings. The rear of the house has a bright sunny sitting area that we used for morning coffee. The deck is a wonderful sitting area to view the golfers out on the course. We would definitely stay here again

This is a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. The furniture and beds were comfy and it was decorated with a chill beachy vibe. I loved reading on the hammock swing below the deck. It was a wonderful week.

Overall we had a great stay! The cottage is exactly as shown in the pictures and was well stocked with the things we needed (garbage bags, toilet paper, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.).

Cute cottage needs a bit of tlc
Overall experience was good. The house was as stated with beds, furnishings. A bit chintzy on supplies (only 3 coffee pods left for 3 adults for 6 days) very small soap packets left for bathroom and minimal laundry soap (thankfully we didn’t plan on washing laundry) We did notice several cockroaches in the kitchen which definitely is gross. For the price it seems these should be taken care of and offer a bit more supplies. There was a nice selection of dishes and cookware and a few leftover supplies (oil, and a few spices). We appreciated having our pets and did enjoy the location being close to the beach. Overall a nice stay despite the few disappointments.

A Wonderful House - Great Location
My adult children & I stayed at 542 Tarpon Pond while visiting Charleston/Seabrook Island for a family wedding. The house was perfect for us! It was so nice to each have our own bedroom & bathroom. (My bed (the king) was SO comfortable!) We were only 4 miles from Freshfields Village where a lot of our family & friends stayed and where everything we needed in terms of shopping & restaurants was located. We were only 1 mile from the Friday & Saturday night festivities. We enjoyed playing games in the beautiful & comfortable living room in the evening, and I had some family over to watch the football game on Sunday. The rental management company was probably the best I have ever worked with.

everything was wonderful - housekeeper was still working on house at 4pm but let us unload our cars anyway - would have been nice not to feel like we were rushing her - but we had all traveled far and two had been in horrible traffic so we just really needed to get unloaded and relax -

Loved it!
This was our second trip to Seabrook and we loved staying at this property. It was perfect for our family of 5 - very clean with plenty of room. We would definitely stay here again. Communication with the property manager was great with extra information about what was going on at Seabrook the week we were there.

Long Weekend
Such a cute property. It was exactly as the pictures showed. Clean and everything was there that we possibly needed. Seabrook is beautiful and relaxing. Easy drive to the marina and bike ride to the beach. We will definitely be back to Seabrook.
