Area Entertainment & Dining: The small town of Kemah, Texas is host to a wide variety of entertainment. Including The famous Kemah Boardwalk which has 9 full restaurants, two coffee shops (including Starbucks), playground, amusement park, carnival games, water fountain for kids to play in, live bands on outdoor stage, The Boardwalk Beast (extreme boat ride), the Boardwalk Bullet wooden roller coaster, train ride around the boardwalk area and many other shops and novelty stores. One can easily spend the whole day here and enjoy dinner and some live music in the evening. Also take in the view of the Gulf of Mexico along the boardwalk. Other restaurants in Kemah include Dan's Pizza Deck, Kemah Steak House, Monkey Bar, Bakkhus (Greek Food), Amadeus (Italian) and the standard fast food places.

Moved to the area for a job and stayed here for one month. The place was exactly what I needed and Curt was helpful and responsive. The place is spacious, has great natural light and is a very short walk to the bars, restaurants and the boardwalk of Kemah. The place was fully stocked with everything I needed for my extended stay which made my move very stress free. I recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Awesome Place!
I stayed here for six months. Excellent location, can walk to all of the fun sites in kemah! Curt was awesome and available whenever I needed him. Perfect for a couples getaway or a small family vacation. Highly recommend!

Rest weekend
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a condo in the best location in Kemah. Curt was so awesome, he made it so easy. It had everything we needed and more! The bed was amazing, as comfortable as being home! It is definitely five star.

Curt has everything you need for easy living One bedroom condo. There is open garage with assigned parking under the building and the condo is just up 5 steps and across a small courtyard. A second flight of 18 steps leads to a warm and inviting open space of living, dining and kitchen.
The master is very comfortable with room darkening drapes. The bathroom has both shower and Roman bathtub. The kitchen is fully stocked. Curt has also been easily accessible for any questions or requests making my stay all the more pleasant. Waking distance to food, bars, and fun makes it even better. HEB grocery is just minutes away. a great place to relax and have fun in Kemah.

Kemah Get-a-away
We had a delightful stay in Curt's condo. It was meticulously clean and very comfortable. My biggest surprise was all the amenities that were available to us. We had stayed at another location for a few weeks prior to coming to Curt's so we really had all our own necessities. But, to see coffee, decaffeinated coffee, tea, coffee filters, spices, paper towels, etc. was a delightful surprise. I traveled constantly prior to retirement and I would have given anything to have had what was provided at this condo.
We are an older couple so it was a bit challenging for us to manage the stairs especially when grocery shopping. So I would recommend this place for the younger set to middle age. Other than this it was a perfect stay. A couple of times we struggled with the TV but all we needed to do was let Curt know and he was totally happy to help us when we needed him. I would definitely recommend these accommodations for any business traveler or anyone just wanting a get-a-way.

Very very Nice Apartment
This is one of the nicest apartment rentals we've stayed at. Quiet. Good location. Very walkable. Restaurants and morning coffee are very close! Reasonably priced. The host, Curt was available and helpful. And Galveston is a 20 minute drive away. If you are going to Kemah and you are looking at rentals you should take a good look at close look at this unit. It will be worth your while.

I love this place
I have stayed here three separate times for about 10 days each time. I can't say enough good things about it. I travel for business so to have a kitchen and washer and dryer is so convenient for me. The owner, Curt, is very helpful and considerate. He has everything you could possibly need in the condo. It is within walking distance to the Boardwalk and many great restaurants and shops. I will definitely book again.

Couldn't feel more welcome
I have nothing else to say than praising Mr. Curt, the house had all the thing you need as soon as you arrive, specially after a 10 our flight with a 10 month old baby, he even had two bottles of water waiting for us, everything went smooth and Mr. Curt is always available, by far the best expirience me and my family had with this kind of services, is safe to say, we literally felt like home.

Kemah Retreat
We were looking for a 30 day rental in Kemah and found this property on your website. The condo was in a great location within walking distance of the Kemah Boardwalk and a short drive to the ocean in Galveston and downtown Houston. The property was very clean and well maintained with easy access to parking. The condo was very comfortable and had all the amenities that we required for our stay. The owner was very helpful and accessible and had an office next to the condo. We very much enjoyed our stay and would love to come back again.

Very pleased with Kemah Condo

Great place for tourist visit
We wanted to visit the Houston / Galveston area and found this Kemah condo to be well located. It's about 6 blocks to the Kemah boardwalk with its attractions and restaurants. We bought fresh Gulf shrimp less than a mile away. The unit was clean, with everything provided. Curt was very cordial and available for any questions or needs. We would recommend this to friends or relatives.

We had a blast
Amazing condo! We enjoyed our stay so much. The condo was only a few blocks from the boardwalk so we walked down every day. The kitchen was stocked with every cooking utensil I could ever need and the bed was absolutely wonderful! Our little boy loved the balcony. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be visiting again! Thanks Curt for being so hospitable!!

A great place to stay
We were visiting Kemah from the UK to attend a friend's wedding and chose Kemah Retreat mainly for its location. The interior and exterior photos on the website were also very attractive.
We were delighted with our choice. The apartment was lovely, exactly as pictured and described. It was spotlessly clean and everything was in good order. We really appreciated the little things that were provided - bottled water, wine, coffee, toothpaste etc. - especially after the 18 hour haul from London! Thank you Curt.
The location was perfect for the wedding celebrations and also for the dining and entertainment at Kemah Boardwalk. Our visit was in the "low season" so apart from Fri/Sat it was quite quiet at the Boardwalk and easy to get seating in the restaurants. We particularly enjoyed our meals at Landry's on the Boardwalk and at T-Bone Tom's which was only a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone looking for comfortable, affordable accommodation in the Kemah area.

Kemah Retreat a Real Treat
This condo has all the comforts of home and more. Being walking distance to the Kemah Boardwalk made it perfect for having our two grandchildren over for visits. The space is light and airy with a deck for morning coffee (weather permitting--it is Texas after all). We intend to return again and again and again as long as Curt will have us.

Great Weekend Get-Away!
My husband and I wanted to get away from Spring, TX on the 4th of July and found this perfect little condo in Kemah, TX. The property is VERY well kept and extremely clean. Curt Nicks provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. The pictures of the condo are very nice; however, it's even better in person! I would recommend this condo fo anyone looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable get away! Very close to Kemah Boardwalk and local shops.

Awesome stay at the Kemah Condo!
I highly recommend this property. We lived in the Houston area for 14 years. We just returned, after moving away a year ago, for a vacation/visit with friends for 10 days. We were very familiar with the Kemah Boardwalk area & all it had to offer & were very excited to find this condo to rent. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine from our favorite local winery & some muffins for our first morning breakfast. The size of the condo was perfect for my family of 4. My husband & I had a king bedroom for ourselves with a tv & huge closet & the boys had a nice queen sized sofa bed in the living area & a tv for them too. The property was very clean & well taken care of. The owner has supplied it with all the necessities for living, & all we brought was our clothes & personal toiletries. The condo has a full kitchen if you choose to cook. The bathroom was spacious & the living area was perfect for inviting friends over after dining out. If I'm counting right, there is seating for 12 people in the living/dining area, plus a couple more on the balcony. There is also a washer & dryer in the condo which made it handy for a quick load. You will also enjoy a covered parking area. We could easily walk to the boardwalk area & take advantage of all the offerings. There are rides, games, & play parks for the kids & several great restaurants, bars & live entertainment. You can also take walks on the shaded tree lined streets where there are more local restaurants, nightlife, & shopping galore! Also don't forget that you are within walking distance of beautiful ocean views. I just can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay here and are so glad that we didn't get a hotel elsewhere. This condo was more like "home". We will always stay here when we return for a visit to the Houston area. Thank you so much Curt!

From SC to Kemah
We came to Kemah to visit our new grandbaby. We really enjoyed our stay. The location was perfect for us. I am a stickler for clean rooms and this condo was better than I would have ever expected. We ended up having to extend our stay and they were most accomodating. We highly recommend and plan on using again ourselves.
