Amazing hosts
Morley and Lorraine went above and beyond to make our stay with them, they could not do enough, the property is stunning and in such a quiet rural location, we thoroughly enjoyed the peace and tranquillity, thanks again

Fabulous get away in Devon
We had a great week away in Devon staying in the Dairy. Such a peaceful and beautiful location. Probably the cleanest place we have ever arrived at! Plenty of space and very well equipped which was appreciated. The hosts Morley and Lorraine couldn't have been more helpful, and even kept an eye on the kids while my husband and I popped out for a few runs together! The kids had an absolute blast with all the space to play and it was so safe we could just let them go without worrying so we could just relax. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful and peaceful
A fabulous week at this lovely property. The location and gardens are beautiful, and we made full use of the tennis court. Morley and Lorraine were helpful and friendly hosts and the honesty shop was a really useful initiative. Thank you for a great week!

Wonderful stay
We really enjoyed our stay at the Dairy. Morley and Lorraine, who had recently taken over the property, were friendly and hospitable. The children loved the on-site facilities (especially the trampoline), and the location provided a perfect base from which to explore many parts of Devon. A wonderful trip during the first post-lockdown week in April 2021!

excellent and beautiful
The accommodation was very beautiful and cosy and very calm, the right place for a quiet holiday but also ideal for trips to Dartmoor, Exmoor, Exeter, Plymouth and the Jurassic coast. Gary and Louise were wonderful hosts, especially the lovely welcome pack was great and very helpful. All in all a five star holiday here in lovely Devon.

Summer getaway with the kids
This was the ideal location for us, our children loved the grounds with so much to do without even having to go anywhere. Situated in a most scenic part of Britain this was a holiday that we will always remember!

Fantastic holiday accommodation
The Dairy is beautiful and set in a wonderful location. This was a good base from which to explore other areas of Devon as centrally located for all the beaches and great for going to Exeter (which is a fantastic City).
The Dairy itself has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard. The rooms are tastefully decorated, clean and very well maintained. We were greeted by Wendy who showed us around and presented us with a lovely welcome pack. Everywhere was spotless. The owners were very friendly and on hand to provide advice and assistance whenever we needed it.
The cottage is set in beautiful grounds which was lovely to explore especially if you have young children as extremely safe for them to roam around. The trampoline and swings for our granddaughter provided hours of amusement as well as the tennis court for our daughter and son-in-law.
This is the second time we have stayed at the cottages and there is no reason as to why we will not be going back again in the near future. Thank you to Gary and Louise (and Wendy) for a wonderful holiday.

Wonderfully relaxing.
This is a well thought out and very comfortable property in beautiful surroundings. We spent some days just enjoying the grounds and all of the sport activities (tennis, basketball, football, table tennis, darts, trampoline, boules) and other days exploring other parts of Devon. Be prepared for very narrow roads if you want to travel about. The property has all the necessities of a home and the honesty shop is a fantastic idea. Thanks Gary and Louise.

Beautiful property and surroundings
A lovely place to stay very remote so if you want to get away from it all this is the place for you, however if you want to stay in touch no problem as there is a TV in every room and wi-fi. The owners are very helpful. The property has everything you may want in lovely surroundings and countryside definitely one of the best places I have stayed in

The Dairy was perfect. 5* accomodation
If you want a little bit of luxury this is the place for you. Super King size beds, beautiful linen. Nothing was too much trouble. Acres of garden to stroll around. Lovely pub 6 miles away in Crediton (Ring of Bells) serving super food. If you want to relax this is the place.

Absolutely Perfect
We feel so lucky to have found this place. It was perfect right from the start. The welcome pack was extremely useful as we hadn't managed to organize a delivery before we arrived and it included everything we needed. Gary gave us a great welcome and gave us loads of information about the area. The beds were to die for and the cottage was spotlessly clean. The kids couldn't have been happier with all there was to do and it was so safe for them to run around, we hardly saw them. We managed to get the rest we needed! We are planning another trip next year with our family so will be back then. I would recommend this to everyone but worried we might not get in if we do!

Best Choice
Location , layout, quality and facilities are among the pluses of this nice property.
The moment we arrived we felt that we are in wild yet everything needed is near by (attractions, supermarket ,village high street ,restaurants ... ) . My wife loves wild life .she didn't mind staying at the cottage all the day just watching the visitors .
The cottage itself is well kept . I couldn't believe it's been offered for rental since some years back.
On top of that, Louise has been extremely generous by welcoming us with plenty of quality snacks and drinks on top of offering us all assistance which made our stay extremely comfortable and informative.
We are surely coming back, but this time with our greater family which is large enough for the larger cottage.
Thank you Louise for everything

Beautiful Relaxing Break
We had a lovely relaxing break here. The Barn and the Cottage are lovely, very clean, well equipped, just as described. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The village of Cheriton Fitzpaine is very small and quiet with a couple of pubs and again very friendly and welcoming people. The position is also good, Exeter is not far away and also the North and South Coasts of Devon are easily accessible. I would definitely go there again and recommend it to friends.
