Very clean and everything we needed

Short of staying oceanfront, this is very close to the beach!
Host is great and addressed a minor issue very quickly!
Beautiful and comfortable beach house with everything you need - not too flashy but just right.
10/10 highly recommend.
And if you’re lucky the resident Osprey hawk will join you for coffee or cocktails by the deck.

The property was spacious and comfortable. We had everything we needed for a fun week. The location is ideal for the beach

This was a beautiful place to stay. We had 3 generations staying together and there was plenty of room for everyone. The outdoor space was a nice bonus and the beach just a short walk away. Would gladly book this place again.
4.8
Loved how close we were to night heron park and beach.
House was exactly what we needed. Loved that we could do individual days vs a week.
Saw so many alligators.

Terrific location and great property in Kiawah! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and Cathy, the owner was welcoming and communicative.

The condo was clean and in a great location to the beach and bike rentals. It had everything we needed for our stay. The property manager, Cathy Beto, was wonderful at communicating with us.

We love Kiawah, and this windswept property is a great way to access the best part of Kiawah. A close walk to the beach. Property was clean and master bedroom is really spacious

Great location, clean, well-supplied, beautiful lagoon views, spacious.

We had a lovely stay. The owner was very accessible and offered a lot of information. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner there and had everything we needed. The floating dock in the lagoon provided a changing tableau of wildlife, including herons, cranes, and a big boy alligator.

My mother, sisters and I plan a girl’s week vacation somewhere different every year. This year we chose this condo on Kiawah Island.
Cathy was very easy to communicate with and provided all the information we needed and answered questions quickly.
The condo was very clean, light and bright. The beds were all very comfortable all. It was indeed just a short 2-3 minute walk on a paved pathway to a beautiful beach .
As shown in the photos there are fairly steep steps to get into the condo so if you have any mobility issues that could be a problem. We just decided it was good exercise each day.
I would definitely recommend it to others and would be happy to stay there again.

The runners of the triathlon ran right by the deck, passed a sunbathing alligator lying on the floating deck with an Egret on guard

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this marvelous condo! From the outset, Cathy was very helpful and responsive to my inquiries. Having stayed at Kiawah multiple times over the past 15 years, I can tell you that the Windswept area of Kiawah is one of the best. It is a short walk to the beach, a short bike ride to The Nest (casual dining, groceries, beer/wine), to Night Heron Park (great for young kids), and to The Sanctuary hotel. We love our bike rides along the beach to watch the dolphins feed, exploring the island trails and morning bike rides to Freshfields for our morning coffee and pastry at Java Java. Cathy’s condo is a perfect place for a family and we will definitely rent again!

We stayed back in June. Everything was beautiful & perfect. It’s closer to the beach than we thought. It’s close to the Nest, which is a little market. We had a great time. The owner gives great timely information and is easy to work with. Highly recommend this condo!

Very nice rental! Owner was very responsive. Location was great and we had a great stay!

Came to Kiawah for a conference and stayed at this well located townhome. Beach access was a couple of minute walk away and Night Heron park with pool is also very close. The layout of the property was good. It does show a bit of age but had nice views and pleasant artwork which provided a cheery vibe. There is a smart TV in primary bedroom, others have cable channels. It was very nice to be able to park in the carport under the unit when storms came through during our stay. Kitchen was adequately stocked and did have a small Keurig. Communication with property manager was excellent. I would stay at this property again. We had a wonderful trip.

Great location and very clean. Owner responded to our needs in a timely manner. Highly recommended.

Beautiful condo and location. Extremely clean. The kitchen had all of the cooking necessities needed. Living room was spacious with alot of lounging room. Beds were comfortable. Nice decks to sit on.
Only issues were some ants near the front door and lack of toiletry refills.
4.8
The spacious layout and placement of bedrooms, plenty of bathrooms, decks, and the whole place was extremely well set up. Super clean. Perfect location if you have kids- we saw lots of alligators in the pond, walked to the playground at Night Heron and the resort’s little cafe/market (The Nest) for ice cream or any essentials we forgot. Easy walk to beach access East 22 walkway- pristine beach! I can’t recommend enough. Our parents, husband and me, and our 2 young kids all want to come back.

Absolutely love this villa. Location can’t be beat and the villa is so well cared for. Love the furnishings which are all so comfortable. The views from the upstairs sitting room and tue living room are so unique and relaxing. Hope to stay here again!

Kiawah and the accommodations were excellent! Proximity to the beach and bike trails and lagoon (saw several alligators!) was perfect!

We love Kiawah! This was at least our 20th time staying on the island. We found this villa to be in a perfect location, steps from the beach situated on a quiet scenic lagoon. The view from the property was wonderful, almost like living in a luxury treehouse. It was nice to have covered parking under the villa for our car and bikes. The decor was colorful and casual - just what we were looking for.
Sadly our two week stay was complicated by several problems with the villa.
- Broken washing machine, never repaired during our two week stay.
- Dishwasher leaked onto the floor, repaired after 8 days.
- Dirty carpet and handrail in the stairwell, stained by ground in beach sand (Why no rug or mat inside the front door to catch the inevitable sand?)
- Vacuum cleaner was useless, dumped more dirt onto the rug than it picked up.
- Broken broom. How expensive is it to replace a broom?
- No closet door in the master bedroom. Owner said it had caused trouble in the past so they removed it. (There was a beautiful shower curtain just steps away. Why not get a second one for the closet?)
- Many of these issues are not major renovations, perhaps it is time for the owner to spend some time there to check things over.
We would not rent this villa again.
There are several other villas available for rent in this neighborhood.

The property was well equipped, clean, comfortable, and in an excellent location. The beach is just across the street, and walking/biking paths run behind the property around a pond. Night Heron park, with a market/cafe, playground, and pool (not open in the off season of our visit), are just a few steps away.
Cathy communicated early to ensure we had what we needed. While the weather was not great during our visit, the townhome was a perfect place to relax.

We were very pleased with this property. It was clean, comfortable and in a convenient location. We rented bikes and spent most of the week riding around the island. The views of the lake off the back porch were great. We'll definitely plan to go back.
4.8
Loved the light and airiness of this end unit condo. Nice nature and pond views out the big windows and doors. Perfect for my husband and I and our adult children staying for marathon weeked. A few steps away from mile 2 and 24 and the shuttle to start.
4.8
Short walk to beach and Night Heron Park. Perfect views of pond with views of alligators, birds and other wildlife. Host was excellent to communicate with. Kitchen not super well stocked if you’re planning to do a lot of cooking. But we’d definitely stay there again.

The condo was just as described and was nice and clean when we arrived. The views were beautiful and the location was perfect for the beach and the park. Cathy was wonderful to work with and very responsive. We would stay here again!
4.8
Very convenient to the beach and Night Herron. Living room rug is a tripping hazard and the dishwasher doesn’t drain fully and leaks. We have stayed here before and would again. We like the villa and the location.
4.8
We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were wonderful. The villa is conveniently located - it's an easy 5-minute walk to the beach and Night Heron Park, and a quick bike ride to the market. We will be back!
4.8
We were looking to spend a relaxing, quiet week at the beach and this villa delivered in spades. The house was clean and well appointed with comfortable furnishings and a great lagoon view. The pristine beach was a 3 minute walk winding through beautiful landscaping. Alligators, deer, herons, and other wildlife were everywhere. Highly recommend.

Family vacation
This property was conveniently located. It was close to the park where activities took place nightly. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Some of the outlets didn’t seem to work but overall it’s a nice place! It offered a nice view of the pond too! Would stay here again

Perfect location! We hope to go back next year!

Very good location with beautiful views of the lagoon, wildlife and sunset. Five-minute walk to the beach.

Everything about our three week stay on Kiawah Island was wonderful. The condo was first class. The location and views were relaxing, quiet and beautiful. From Wally, the alligator that swam through the lagoon every day, Wally, Jr., the little alligator that shared the lagoon, to the four point buck and his two does that curled up and slept under one of the decks, the memories will always be special! And, yes, we’ll be back!!

Family of four. Love the lagoon views. Great location! Stay here! The three bedrooms worked great as we have some "touchy sleepers" in our family! Often we saw a resident osprey perched in the tall pine trees just off the deck/porch, not to mention all the egrets, great blue herons, deer, squirrels, alligators, etc that were viewed off the deck. The property was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and it is extremely close to Night Heron but you would not know that as the trees and brush across the lagoon nicely hide the park. Cathy was very kind and quick to respond about a minor key issue. We never were awakened or bothered at night by party- or people-noise. The beach is just as described; a 3-minute walk! We discovered that the condo itself gives shade/cover for one car to be parked beneath; or, in our case, bikes to be parked where they stayed dry! Several neighbors did park a car in their own respective, protected areas. We did not because the curb at the end is just quite steep and I feared the bottom of our mini-van would scrape on it. A truck or jeep with better clearance can drive over it no problem. If you will go to the beach, be sure to plan better than we did: bring your own towels that you don't mind getting sand on! The condo has towels, but they seemed to be for shower/tub use and I just didn't want to get them dirty with sand. Maybe Cathy doesn't mind, and maybe you can think to ask! (I could've asked but I didn't want to bother her! She's very nice...don't be dissuaded!) Also, if you plan to spend a day at the beach, besides towels you don't mind getting sandy, you might want a beach chair or two. We've been coming to Kiawah for several years now and this was our first time at Cathy's place. The kids and husband loved it and everyone agreed that if we come back, I should definitely try to get this condo again. Thanks, Cathy, for sharing your space with us and so many others!

This is a real gem just a short walk from the beach. East Beach is centrally located on Kiawah. We loved our stay. The villa is well appointed and has a fantastic view of a small waterway out back where we saw osprey and alligators and blue birds and egrets. So relaxing! We will be back for sure.

Enjoyed the stay. Will def consider coming back
