About this house rental

This centrally located, contemporary home is just 10 minutes from Coeur d'Alene and 35 minutes from both Silverwood theme park and Spokane International airport.

Totaling 640 sq ft, our home was built as a mother-in-law suite in 2007. The space consists of a master bedroom with queen bed, full kitchen with breakfast bar, 3/4 bathroom (shower only- no tub), full laundry, built in desk and living room. A user-friendly thermostat makes controlling the central air conditioning and furnace a breeze. Wireless internet and Roku tv with netflix account already logged in are provided.

The master bedroom has a comfortable queen bed and plenty of closet space to accommodate personal belongings. Other sleeping options include a queen size sofa sleeper which is located in the living room and children's pack-n-play.

You can expect a fully equipped kitchen boasting full sized appliances along with a Keurig coffee maker. Upon arrival, the kitchen will be stocked with coffee. There is both a super center and grocery store located within a mile of the house making it easy to grab everything else you need to make your stay just like home.

On the outside, a covered patio provides a sheltered space for enjoying the beautiful north Idaho weather. Two adirondack chairs, a table, and gas grill are in this space as well. On the west side of the house, you will find a sidewalk that connects the driveway in back to the patio in front. A large garage with parking big enough for large suv's and pickup trucks is especially convenient during those bad weather days.

The neighborhood is private and kid friendly with many restaurants located less than 5 minutes away. We have included menus from some of our favorites as well as magazines outlining the exciting adventures the area has to offer each season.

My husband and I moved to Idaho to live next to our family! We stayed here so we could get settled and get to know the area a little better! The host was wonderful at communicating! When we got to the VRBO-the dishwasher needed some screws to hold it in place, and he came within a couple hours to fix it! Bret was very nice, and friendly! The place was clean, tidy, and the garage was a wonderful bonus!!

This mother-in-law home is perfect for a person wanting a home versus a hotel. It has everything one would need including a great variety of spices for cooking. I wasn’t there long enough to whip up any chow but I could have easily! Another wonderful perk was I was able to park in a garage! I usually keep my vehicles garaged so this was a wonderful plus. Total privacy is another great amenity plus the front of the home covered patio was wonderful. Landscaping was immaculate and full of color. Just wonderful. I will absolutely get in touch with the hosts next time in town.

We attended our sons weeding in Coeur d'Alene, ID. Place, location (15 minutes from all three places we needed to be during our stay) was perfect. Owners were available if we needed anything. It was a wonderful trip! David

I loved this space with its easy access and garage parking. Located in a quiet neighborhood. Very clean and well maintained. Comfy bed and couch. Nice built-in desk space for working remotely. I look forward to staying again as I have family in Post Falls but like having my own place.

This one bedroom worked great for my husband and I. We were in the area for 5 days and were looking for something a little bigger than a hotel room. The living room, kitchen and separate bathroom along with the affordable price made it perfect!

This cozy, nicely laid-out rental, just a few blocks off a highway connecting to the Interstate a mile away, is conveniently located to Coeur d'Alene and the lake. (Construction at the highway intersection is temporarily making a detour necessary during June 2022). It is very clean and well maintained, plus the renter's car is parked inside a huge storage/garage unit and is always safe. Most importantly, the owners seem to know how taxes and fees increase the cost and decrease the value of using VRBO, so they price the unit in an affordable way, keeping folks from using inns and suites instead.

Bret and Megan were very nice and helpful in checking in and talking with us. We really enjoyed the house and its location near our son's baseball tournament. It was just what we needed. When our game schedule changed, Bret was accommodating in letting us have a late checkout. We will definitely look to stay here again on future trips to Post Falls.

My son competed in a Speech & Debate tournament for the week and Bret's place was a perfect fit for us being just 2 1/2 miles from the event held at beautiful Ross Point Camp & Conference Center. Our end of event party held in Coeur d'Alene was just 20 minutes away. We had the freedom to come and go without disturbing anyone with our early to leave and late to return schedule each day. The bed & pull out couch bed were both very comfortable and the area was so quiet peaceful allowing us to get great rest preparing us for each busy day. The place had everything we needed and much more. The kitchen which we didn't need this trip was well stocked and roomy. There were tons of linen and towels available. We didn't need the washer & dryer, but were grateful they were there in case we did. It was such a blessing to be able to park inside the garage too! We had no need to contact Bret during our stay, but felt comfortable knowing he was close by if we did. I highly recommend this place if you'll be in Post Falls, Coeur d'Alane or Spokane area. It will be our first choice for return visits!

My partner and I spend the 4th of July weekend at the house. It was very convenient since we met family at the wolf lodge campground. Cour de Alene is just a short drive away. The house is clean and quaint. Nice to have a garage. The owners Bret and Meg we never met them, but it was easy to check ourselves in and stay in contact with them through messages. We recommend this little house.

Our stay here was very relaxing. Check in and check out is super easy. Being able to park our motorcycle in the garage was great. Bret recommended a couple of places to eat and they were great. Would highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property and will definitely be back. Very private and peaceful place to be for our weekend getaway. It was wonderful to have a space in the garage and to be able to safely store our E-Bikes when we were not riding. Highly recommend this property and wonderful owners even though we did not get to meet them.

We have stayed at a lot of properties through VRBO and this is easily top 3 of all. The checking was flawless. The owners live next door but you would never know. The property is very nicely manicured and quiet. We were running a little tight on schedule the last day of our tournament and requested to check outblate. Bret did not hesitate to allow a late check out. This was a wonderful stay and we would stay here again if the occasion arises. Wonderful!
