This is a "state of the art" SOLAR HOME with solar power to the grid and backup battery power for the TV and Internet. 150 MB Broadband WiFi throughout. (Very handy if the island power goes out)
With a quick 5 minute walk to the beach via your own deeded private access to the beautiful sugar sands of Longboat Beach or a walk through the park out the back door, to the tranquil quiet bay, you can surf in the morning and kayak in the afternoon!

NO rEGRETS is named affectionately after our local friend, Eddie the Egret. You will see him walking along the front lawn or across the road looking for food.
Longboat Key is only 3 feet above sea level, so NO REGRETS was wisely designed with a "key west like" elevated floorplan..you can enjoy the beaches and tropical atmosphere without the worry of flooding! A fast elevator carries guests, baggage and shopping quickly upstairs to the main living area.
With an open elevated floor plan, the garage and pool, bathroom, bar, hot tub and BBQ are on the first floor and the living and patio areas on the second floor, together with an elevated deck overlooking the pool (with BBQ and dining table and chairs), this light and airy home has bright colors and comfortable furnishings including a large screen UHD 3D TV for the days when the beach is too windy or too hot and a DVR so you can keep up with the shows you simply can't miss!

The home has solar power backup and 150mps broadband internet for gamers. Security cameras are located on the side stairs, front porch and pool/ spa areas to provide security for the property when its unoccupied. We dont record the video from these cams.
The one interior cam in the family room is disabled unless the alarm is activated.
BBQ facilities downstairs by the heated pool and a covered hot tub and patio with serving bar and bathroom, simplify outdoor living, even if the weather is showery!
WiFi is available throughout the home and around the heated, lighted pool; a UHD TV, DVR and DVD is also available in the family room, Master bedroom and 2nd bedroom as well, so the kids/ teens can watch their programs, without disturbing adults entertaining.
After an afternoon at the beach, cool off with a quick spray from the outdoor shower before jumping into your private fenced in pool or if you have been playing tennis or fishing- come home and relax in the 28 jet hot tub! A convenient downstairs bathroom is nearby.

My fiancé and I spent three wonderful months at No Regrets on longboat key. Their location, the amenities, and the overall ambience of the property was just perfect. The host was very responsive to any needs of ours and we felt truly welcomed at the property. We have no regrets for staying at.No Regrets. It is truly heaven on LBK.

No R'Egrets had many positives. The kitchen was exceedingly well-equipped. There was scarcely a pan or a tool I reached for that wasn't there. The street is nestled in a nature park that borders on the bay, which was a great place to walk the pup (especially because dogs are not allowed on the beach!!!) Dave called the first day to make sure everything was in order, and explained how to make some adjustments to the pool and hot tub to meet our needs. Since we had not stayed in Sarasota before, there was lots to see there (Motte Aquarium, the Ringling, the Arts and Crafts museum in Tampa/St Pete. ) It was good that there were things to do, because the red tide was terrible for nearly a week (we couldn't walk on the beach without coughing or stepping over dead fish). Not Dave's fault, but he even offered to add a few days to our reservation to make up the time. The beach is beautiful, and not crowded at all, and everyone enjoyed the hot tub.

The property backs up to a fantastic park with bay views. Great for walking dogs and meeting nice people. There is a walk to the beach, but they provide a wagon. The beach was beautiful. The home is welcoming and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Great kitchen. The pool is nice for a swim when the red tide keeps you off the beach. I would stay here again.

Our family has traveled to Longboat Key and Anna Maria for years, especially as our boys were growing up. It had been awhile and we were looking for a place to get away for a few weeks to relax and get some sunshine. We took our dog with us! This home was close enough to walk to two of our favorite restaurants - Euphemia Haye and Harry's. When we didn't go out to eat, we enjoyed the well-stocked kitchen and the grill. The path through the mangroves and park were a great place to walk the dog. The beach was a quick walk down the lane and across the street. Our young adult son was with us, too and the way the house is designed with a living area and a family room type den with television, he had plenty of privacy when he wanted it. We reached out a couple times to David with questions and he was very responsive. We would definitely stay there again.

Last year we took a chance and booked No rEgrets for the months of February and March- totaling approximately 60 days and nights. To summarize, we are so very sorry to leave. The house has been perfect for our needs; we are a middle aged couple with 2 small dogs. My husband set up an "office" in one of the bedrooms and managed to work during the week. I enjoyed the lovely pool, the nearby beautiful beach and exploring Sarasota.
The house is well stocked and incredibly comfortable for guests. The kitchen has everything one needs to cook delicious meals, and there are a number of good restaurants near by.
The proximity to the Joan Duarante park was a lovely bonus and we had many beautiful walks with our dogs there.
Communication with the owners was seamless and prompt. As we say our good byes tomorrow to Longboat Key, we will carry with us wonderful memories from our time at No rEgrets! Thank you David and Cynthia!

No rEgrets is a great house, comfortable, convenient to the Beach, Ringling, Mote, Selby Gardens, restaurants and shopping on St.Armands Circle. Yet it feels private and secluded.
There is a one car garage for your use with everything you'll need to make a
7 minute walk easy and the beach fun. There is an outside shower to wash off sand.
There is a new elevator which makes unloading and moving in easier than hauling gear upstairs.
The backyard is fenced for pool/hot tub privacy and safety for your dog. There are comfortable tables and chairs around the pool & Grill.
The house is in the center of miles of groomed trails (with lots of birds) that lead to Bay views. It is walking distance to a few great restaurants.
This house has the privacy of "split living." On one side of the house is the Main Queen Bedroom Ensuite with a TV and a Big Walk-in Closet w/hangers. Next room is a Sunroom with Big Screen TV (with surround sound). The Sunroom sofa is a big Sleeper.
On the other side of the house is a hallway with 2 bedrooms and a shared 4 piece bathroom. The front rm has a set of twin beds. The smaller back rm has a full bed. Outside of this hallway are the shared living areas.
The Front Living room & Dining Room are great for family games & meals. The room opens to a deck with more seating & a grill
The Kitchen has a breakfast counter with stools.
The cupboards are well stocked for cooking and entertaining. The pantry has items to help get you get started.
There are plenty of pillows, sheets, luggage racks, towels, hot pads and RUGS. It is so nice to have a rug on the floor in the bedroom.
The Laundry Closet has cleaning supplies if needed.
The host has outside lights on timers which make returning after sunset welcoming.

The host David had the heater turned on early for our arrival in January 2022.
If your dog loves the water, sand and playing with all types of dogs I highly recommend a trip to the Venice Brohard Dog Park and Beach. It's an hour south of this house.
It was a joy working with the host. David was always available to answer questions and quick to resolve little mishaps.
David and Cynthia truly worked to make sure my family had a great holiday.

Our SLICK SIX family holiday
We enjoyed our stay at No rEgrets the week between Christmas and New Year's. The property was very clean and well furnished; we cooked most meals. The beach was a fun walk and we used the wagon to carry supplies. Walking at the nearby park was a wonderful bonus and we took some family photos at the overlooks.
Our group was all adults and David and Cynthia worked to make sure we could use the pool and hot tub despite recent bad weather.
There are nearby restaurants that do carry out, call early, stores and a beach market two days a week. We also visited the nearby Mote Marine Aquarium. It was a lovely vacation. Thank you!

Great Rental
The property was great and extremely clean. It has a very homey feeling making you feel welcomed immediately. Kitchen was magnificently equipped. David was extremely communicative and friendly. He had masks and sanitizer for us in the event we didn't bring our own. I would say the only downside is that its listed as a 4 bedroom, however, the contract does state that its a 3 bedroom. Again, it's a great property and we would stay again.

The park behind the yard was beautiful and dog friendly- great for a jog in the morning and perfect place for dog to take a swim. Outdoor pool was large relative to other rentals we have stayed in. Summer 2019
We had a great time at no regrets. The beach is close. The pool and backyard area was very relaxing. The house was very well stocked with everything you need. David ward the property owner was always available and quick to answer any questions that may come up. Highly recommend this property for vacation.

Home away from home
The owner communicated early and often, sent pictures, gave tips in advance, he even prepared a welcoming gift in the form of a breakfast voucher in a nearby restaurant.
When I arrived, the garage remote didn‘t open the garage with all the keys and we had trouble entering the villa - not a nice start at the end of a long road trip. Finally, we were able to get in, two hours later, the owner reacted to my numerous calls.
The villa was very clean, it contained every kitchen supply needed. The owner decorated the villa in a way that you really feel at home.
We loved playing in the pool, relaxing for a week.
The owner reacted very fast to some minor issues with the dishwasher.

A nearly perfect week
My family spent Thanksgiving week at NoRegrets. David and his wife have gone above and beyond in making sure guest have everything needed during their stay. We really enjoyed the privacy, as well as the park directly behind the house. The beautiful beach is just a short walk from the house.
If there is anything i would change it would be to clean up the path to the beach, trim back the vegetation at the guest driveway. The mattresses were a huge complaint all week.
I would definitely stay here again.

NO REGRETS here for our first time in LBK
When David saw we hadn't checked in yet, he made sure to contact us and make sure we were ok! Location of the house was perfect for us from the beach and the next town over. It was especially nice with the park behind the house, but we didn't have a chance to check it out. The house had a nice sized pool, but we also didn't use it because most of our time was spent at the beach. The short time we were outside checking out the house, we were eaten up by insects so make sure to spray repellant whenever you're outdoors! Upon check-in, you'll be given detailed instructions as well as an information packet. It includes amenties the house comes with such as board games, wifi, beach gear, ready to use propane, etc... The walking trail to the beach is literally across the main road right next to the brown house with huge driveway and car port. The route gets a little tight at one point as you walk between a fenced area and the "brush"... Also upon arrival, visitors were instructed to park on 1 of the 2 sides of the driveway. It may be a pain to get in and out either reversing or driving forward just because there is more overgrown foliage on that side.. we ended parking on the other side after letting David know. In general, the house was well stocked, had lots of cook/bakeware and supplies (oil, sugar, spices) as well as bedsheets and towels to use as needed. The house was spacious enough for our group of 5 for our sister's trip. FYI, all the door handles need to be turned a specific in order to properly lock them which is a nice safety feature but a hassle or can be frustrating at first.
If we HAD to complain about one thing, it would be the lack of flexibility in rental duration, Although we rented for a almost a week. we were only able to spend a very short few days at this rental. We were told LBK limits the number of rentals per months.. if possible it would've been nice to make exceptions to rental duration instead of trying to meet the months quota with maximum profits. Rental dates were 7/27-8/2, but we only stayed from 7/30 - 8/2. Overall, this may be a place we would rent again on our next trip to LBK. Thanks guys!!!

Beautiful Vacation Home with everything you could ever need
The Ward’s home is absolutely beautiful and they have thought of everything you could need for your stay. Our family so enjoyed our first family vacation at No rEgrets. Longboat Key is a quiet area - away from the hustle and bustle of tourist heavy areas. The private beach is like your own private oasis. We spent hours taking in the sunsets, hunting for shells, checking out the local birds and creatures. If quiet and peaceful isn’t your cup of tea - there are plenty of tourist type activities within driving distance. The kitchen contains everything you could need to cook for your family at home, with a grocery store right up the road. BUT the restaurants are phenomenal and there is something for everyone. Our favorite was Smoqehouse located on AMI a short drive away. The restaurant at the end of the road features very talented live music - definitely worth checking out. We are doing our best to make this a yearly trip, because we enjoyed it THAT much.

Great house and location.
We enjoyed our stay at NO rEGRETS. It's a cute, well appointed house. Very comfortable. It's a short walk to beautiful beach and backs up to a really nice park. The fourth bedroom really is just an open den. We couldn't really use it as a bedroom- daughter is a very light sleeper. But when I reviewed the page for the property they were honest about that. We had a great time and will consider going back.

We highly recommend a vacation at No rEGRETS!
The owner Dave and his wife have made this beach house cozy and inviting, from comfortable furniture to complete kitchen to numerous beach items. You don't need to bring much to this vacation home. Toys, games, beach chairs and umbrellas are provided, along with a cart to transport everything to the beach. We enjoyed the private beach right down the street both in the daytime and for evening sunsets.
If you love to cook, the kitchen is complete with all necessary utensils and small appliances. Two grills are available.
The pool is a great size for swimming or just relaxing! Our only minor problem was mosquitos after dusk.
We were fortunate to meet Dave, the owner, who continues to make improvements so that his guests will have a wonderful experience! His next plan is a game room!
We hope to return to No rEGRETS someday soon!

NO rEGRETS was a wonderful place to stay
Our family met up at Long Boat Key from 3 different states. From the very beginning of our stay David made us feel very welcome and answered any questions we had. The house was very clean and accommodating. There is no need to bring anything from home except clothing as the house from the kitchen to beach supplies were fully stocked. The walk to the beach was not too bad as it is less then a 5 minute walk from the house. I suggest renting a beach cart to tote the chairs and boogie boards back and forth if you have kiddos! But that is avalible right down the street.
We are already talking about coming back again soon!

Excellent family vacation
We stayed here April 2017 for a family vacation with our 3 daughters and small beloved toy poodle. The home exceeded our expectations. The kitchen had all the comforts of home. The bedrooms and bathrooms were beautifully appointed. No expense was spared here. We enjoyed the pool and the bbq very much. The beach was a easy short walk and very quiet. There wasnt alot of traffic in the neighborhood or on the beach which was a nice change to other places we have stayed in past years. David the owner was very courteous and checked on us several times to see if we needed anything. Felix the handyman came for a routine cleaning of the dryer vent and was very nice and professional. Definitely would stay again.
