This awesome 2,388 square foot vacation home is located at #9 Pine Cone Lane on a large private lot with a view of the golf course. The home is across the road from the fifth fairway of the Meadows Golf Course and it is just a short walk to the Big Deschutes River, Fishing and Tennis. The bike path near the property is a direct route to both the Sunriver Village Mall (1.2 mi) and Sunriver Resort Lodge (1.1 mi). The SHARC (8 passes) Recreation Center (1.8 mi) swimming pools, tennis courts and other area amenities are equally close.
Home amenities include a private Hot Tub, Pool Table, Gas Grill, Cable TVs with DVDs, Monitor and Desk, Board Games, Books, Fans (but no A/C) and High Speed Wireless Internet Access!
Living Area: The home has been remodeled with upgraded furnishings. The living area features cathedral ceilings that give the home a light and airy feeling. A large stone fireplace in the living room adds warmth in the winter. Don't miss all the favorite games stored in the closets including Scrabble, Monopoly, Sorry, Chess, Checkers, Stratego, and Jigsaw Puzzles. There is a 60-inch screen TV with DVD, stereo system with CD player and free high speed wireless internet access.
Family/Billiards Room: Adjoining the Living Room is a Large Family Room with a Pool Table, and plenty of seating. With great views of the Deck and 5th Fairway of the Meadows Golf Course through the oversized windows, this will be the center of all the activity!
Kitchen and Dining: The updated kitchen with a granite island is open to the dining area with a large table and vaulted ceilings. The large deck, grill and private hot tub is directly outside.
Bedrooms and Loft: Downstairs are two bedrooms with a bathroom adjoining the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, the second bedroom has a queen-size bed. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a queen-size bed and walk-in closet. The second upstairs bedroom has two pyramid style bunk beds. In addition, there is an open loft that includes a double bed.
Deck and Hot Tub: From the living area there is direct access to a large deck with tables, gas grill and patio furnishings to enjoy the outdoors. The hot tub is at the side of the home, with a privacy screen and room for seating and socializing.
Parking and Bikes: There is a double car garage with additional paved parking area. Seven adult bikes and one children's bike are provided for our guests. Also sleds and snow fun items are provided.
Sunriver Resort: Sunriver is located on the east slopes of the Cascade Mountains in the heart of central Oregon's recreational paradise. This popular world-class resort has extensive bike paths, four 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, swimming pools, parks, and shopping center with a variety of restaurants. Mt. Bachelor ski area is just 25 minutes away, along with the Cascade Lakes (27 mi) recreational area and nearby High Desert Museum (11 mi) and downtown Bend (18 mi).

The home is very outdated except a remodeled kitchen. There is no air conditioning which could definitely be a deal breaker for many.

This house was well appointed for families with lots of kids as there are a lot of bedrooms. It was clean and well put together. I would suggest to the owners to come into it and give it a little TLC. The carpet was torn and dirty in spots, some windows were actually falling apart and there was absolutely zero water pressure in the kitchen and the bathroom sinks. I didn’t want to call management on Christmas Eve or day nor did I want my family time interrupted with repair people coming and going while we were there. Hopefully they can repair and fix what needs to be before the next renters come in. We still enjoyed our time there and hope others get to as well.

The house is well stocked with everything you need to cook and entertain. It's perfect for a multi family vacation. The living/game/kitchen areas are open and large enough for everyone to gather with plenty of room. Morning coffee in the hot tub and late night games of pool were the perfect way to start and end the busy day. The management company was amazing as well! The hot tub ran out of chlorine and they had someone at the house within 15 minutes and it was taken care of immediately. We will be booking this house again for next year.

The home is welled stocked. Open floor plan on first floor. Great location for bikers. Considering we were 10 people ( 6 children ), the decor is not new which was good for us. The pool table was a huge hit. The weather was very warm: end of July 100* +. Warning: The home is not air-conditioned. We worked through it using the plentiful fans provided. Ceiling fans would be helpful for these types of days. 8 Sharq passes is good. Good bikes to use. Helpful management company when we needed their assistance. Only two bathrooms if that matters. It worked for us. We will return and pray the weather is cooler.

Awesome place to stay
This was a great home for our family. We really enjoyed the open kitchen and front room area. The pool room was a great bonus. Kids played pool and put puzzles together. Very close to the river too. Would definitely stay there again.

The house needs to be updated and felt dirty. You can hear every step made from the upstairs bedrooms when in the master bedroom.

Great home for a large group!
Our family of 11, ages ranging from infant to adult, had a great time on our vacation! The location of the home was central to all of our activities and had great bike paths making it fun to ride to the ice cream shop in the evenings! The pool table and separate area was a hit for our family and the hot tub was great in the late evenings. The home had everything we needed down to a coffee grinder that we used for local coffee beans. We were aware there was no A/C, but the house did get pretty warm when the outside temperature was 95-100. The numerous fans were a huge help! The property owner was very prompt in responding and attentive to our needs. We would definitely stay here again!

Creaking Times at Sunriver
The house and layout is great, but every board on the deck creaks. Annoying.
The kitchen us adequately equipped, but lacks simply things like a cheese grader, spices, pepper grinder, basic oils.
The house was dusty, and not completely clean. Mildewed showers.
We had a fun week, but the property is no more than a 3 out of 5 rating, due to maintenance issues.
Property management service was great.
I hate to say it, but we will not likely return to this house.

Wellcome Family Reunion
This house was perfect for our family vacation/reunion. It slept 14 very comfortably. We arrived at the house right at 4:30pm and the cleaning crew was still there, so they were unable to clear the ice jam in the freezer/fridge. But we made it work by buying lots of bagged ice, so no problem. One of the lamps in the master bedroom has an issue with the lightbulb not staying upright so we just unplugged it. While there is no air conditioner there were several fans available which were nice to use at night. There were lots of bikes provided plus we brought a few bikes so we did a lot of bike riding on the amazing bike trails. One of our granddaughters even learned how to ride a bike there. She was so excited! And of course, lots of game playing every night. The six granddaughters utilized the deck for their talent show one night and Grammy had a craft time of rock painting one day while the adult kids and Grampy went white water rafting. Our last day was a delightful time of floating the river. All in all, everyone thought this was the best vacation ever. Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home.

Terrific Home and Location
The house is designed to have a very open feel. There was plenty of seating for everyone to eat together outside and inside. Tiny futon room was a cute addition. Beds were comfortable and there were extra areas with the pool room. Lots of working bikes, too. Thanks for letting us visit!

Perfect for the entire family
We brought all ages from two, 20's and 30's to over 60, and packed this house. This home was spacious with plenty of room to have alone time, or hang out together playing pool, riding bikes in the round about and on the trails that run right by the house. We were so close to the golf course we could wave at the kids sitting on the deck as we passed, while playing one of the holes. It was fairly close to the village, with easy access to stores, restaurants, Starbucks, kids fun area with train, go carts, bouncy houses, ice cream parlor and shops. SHARC water slide park was a lot of fun for all ages. Pool table was great for evening challenges where the old people went undefeated, and showed the young ones how it's done. Fabulous vacation. Great house for a great price!

Excellent home which fit all our needs!
This home was large enough for our family group of 9: 4 children, 9 years and younger, their parents and the grandparents. We never felt crowded as there was plenty of room. Loved the openness of the kitchen/living room. The deck was great with plenty of chairs and tables and a large hot tub.
We had extended family, who had rented 3 other homes, come over for dinner at our place one night and there was still plenty of room! The teenagers enjoyed the pool table, the littles just played everywhere, and the adults were able to sit on the deck with room for all to visit.
The children rode their bikes (brought from home) around the quiet loop of Pine Cone Lane. And everyone rode bikes (supplied with the home) all around Sunriver on the bike trails.
Sunriver is a family vacation paradise! We rented a huge float raft from Toy House rentals located just off Sunriver properties. Went to SHARC almost every day. (Thanks for the passes!) The pony ride at the stables was a fun time for the kids. Paulina Plunge was fun for the older folks (a downhill mountain bike ride off the sunriver property). On Friday evening Sunriver Lodge had live music out on the lawn with a taco truck and bouncy house. Very fun!
There were a couple of maintenance issues which popped up in the home, but the property managers were prompt in their response and took care of them. We also found there was not enough toilet paper (only 1 extra per bathroom) or kitchen garbage bags (only 1 extra) so we ended up supplying our own. Also, we had to sweep the deck every morning because the pine trees were constantly dropping sharp pine cones pieces all over the deck which made walking bare foot out there almost impossible. But, these were small things-easily taken care of and not enough to worry about!
All in all, this was a great home and we hope to rent it again sometime!

Great House and Location
This house is perfect for a large family! Between the spacious downstairs, large sectional couch, three extra couches in the pool table room, large semi private deck, big kitchen island and open floor plan, we never felt like we were on top of each other. Bedrooms were all good size. Large empty garage is handy for any extras you bring with you. The loop the house is on is very quiet with nice neighbors. The location is great too. Close walk or bike ride to the village, tennis courts, trail, Deschutes river, bike paths and club house. We had a blast riding the bikes provided. Would recommend to anyone with a larger group.

Spring Break Softball Trip
It was a great experience for our softball team who played in a tournament in Bend in March. The large sectional was awesome and large enough almost the entire team and coaching staff could be on it or on the floor in front to watch movies. The kitchen was large enough that we had some mothers and grandparents come over and cook dinner for the team each night we stayed. The weather was pretty cold and something we weren't use to but we had a great team experience. Would recommend it to anyone who wants a cozy house large enough for a family or sports team. We will be using it again in the future!

We had a great stay. Had a bunch of boys staying in this cabin and it served our purpose well! Great space to cook food, great hot tub, fun pool-gaming room. Wonderful!

Very clean and accommodating
This is a great property. Great location. We enjoyed our stay very much and didn't feel crammed in a house with a lot of people. The pool table was a highlight for entertaining during the evenings while it snowed. Very open and spacious. We would definitely stay here again.

Very comfortable
We took a large group of adults and found the house to be very comfortable. It has a very open floor plan, a great kitchen and the pool table gave us hours of entertainment. In the evening, a herd of deer came up to the deck to visit! The passes to the water park were great as well. We would definitely go back!

Family, Pet Friendly Fun
Our extended family of 10 had a good time at this rental. The house was built in the 70s and has had some improvements.

The Cons:
Only one bathroom downstairs (for shared use between master, second queen bedroom, and general use while hanging out) Other bathroom is upstairs. Not a deal breaker, but good to know.
The deck is in really poor shape like previous user(s) have said. But at least 2 different deck repair people stopped by to look at the deck and provide estimates back to the owner. I'm guessing the whole deck will be replaced soon. It needs it.
The house has a lot of windows but is still somewhat dark inside. The most open room is the game room with the pool table.
The new kitchen is nice and well-stocked, but all the windows in the house will need replaced at some point. They're showing their age.
We had to contact management for an item left in the house. They were very helpful in locating it and returning it to us--along with a nice note.
Bottom Line--we'd return again--especially if the two great horned owls that we saw sitting on the roof are there again! They flew away and dropped a dead squirrel on the deck. Fabulous sighting.

Loved our stay! The pictures posted are accurate (tho I thought the living area felt larger than the photos showed). The house was nicely updated. The pool room entertained the (9 yikes!) kids in the early mornings/later evenings and the dining room table was large enough for our group. The owner was fantastic about being available to answer questions (thank you!). We did wish there was a third (even a half) bathroom -- 2 baths were sometimes not enough with 14 people but we made due -- kids showered at the pool after swimming.
And yes, we'd stay again!

We loved this home. The open concept living area was perfect for our family (6 adults, 5 children). The remodeled kitchen is very nice. The photos don't really do the place justice. We felt it was even nicer than the photos! The owner was very kind to answer questions before our arrival. We enjoyed the pool table and bikes, as well as other area amenities. We would highly recommend this property to other families!

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and its amenities are wonderful. The location is fabulous - a short drive, bike ride or walk to the Village, new SHARC facility and a short drive or bike ride to Maverick's. It is right across from the golf course and right out the door you are on the walking / bike trails.

Loved where this place was located within Sunriver! Felt relatively close to just about everything. Could easily ride bikes to destinations without feeling like you pedaled for an hour to get there. The large open space downstairs was a perfect layout for our group. Everything other than sleeping is centrally located, which is always great! Would love to come back, and would recommend to anyone! The SHARC and Mavericks passes are also an incredible bonus. On top of all that, the kitchen was newly remodeled! Always nice to stay somewhere with new stuff.

For our 50th wedding anniversary my wife and I decided to host our immediate family and the three well-behaved family dogs for a week of vacation in Sunriver, Oregon. We did so during the last week of August. Our sons and family live in Portland, Oregon. We live on the Monterey Peninsula in California. Sunriver was the perfect place for the family vacation. The rental home suited our needs perfectly. It was big enough to house, feed and bathe and sleep the six members of our immediate familly - five adults and our 10 year old grandson. The house is in a good location, close to services and away from hustle and bustle. It was only a short walk to the river for exercise swims by the dogs. There are so many family things to do in Sunriver and environs. At the rental house there is a pool table, a hot-tub, and plenty of bikes for riding on the area's bike trails. The house is equipped with all the necessary items, washer and dryer, a newly remodeled kitchen, all the kitchen implements that are needed, and many other niceties. There is cable TV, and a wireless internet connection. The beds and other furniture were in good condition and comfortable. Bedding, towels and other supplies were on hand. There is a small reading library, and several board games. All in all the rental house was everything that we expected.

the place wasn't very clean upon arrival. Also wanted to check in early but couldn't, and ended up not being able to check in until after the original check in time. besides that the place was a nice space and all three families had a wonderful time.

This is a nice home. The kitchen is new and it has a pool table, foosball table and a hot tub. Sunriver is excellent and their many fun activities for the family. I recommend it.

We had a great time and found the house met all our needs. Our 5 year old learned to ride her bike on the cul de sac loop where there was no traffic. A short walk down the path by the river and we saw a fledgling bald eagle learning to fly, and a kingfisher looking for dinner.
A few tips for the travelers-- bring some food storage options-- there is no ziplocks, Saran Wrap or aluminum foil stocked at the house. Spices are minimal and you need to bring your own staples such as oil or sugar. There are 5 adult sized cruiser bikes, one 16" child's bike (quite small) and a trail-a-bike.
One suggestion for the owners: We had to call property management several times to ask how to get the passes for Mavericks, for the WiFi password and to get instructions for cleanup and checkout-- it would be nice if the property management left a short manual with FAQs and put the WiFi password somewhere onsite.
