The facilities were very comfortable and clean. All the staff were really friendly and extremely helpful. Both breakfast and dinners we delicious. The lodge is only 90 mins from Jhb.
There were some slow speed issues with the wi-fi during our stay, however we were told that they were busy working on it to improve the quality during our stay.

Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. Timothy, Menard, Lovemore, and all the staff were so welcoming, friendly, and accommodating throughout our stay. They truly made the experience even better than we imaged. My sister and I stayed here after a work trip in Johannesburg. We each had dietary restrictions and Timothy, the chef, was so great at handling them. He made us the most delicious meals! The food was excellent. The lodge is so quiet and relaxing, but still right in the bush so we had many animals visit throughout our stay. The rooms are quiet, clean, modern, and the staff provide excellent service. The staff was also so helpful in arranging transfers from our work hotel to the lodge, and then to the airport. The process was so easy and we felt safe knowing our transportation was already arranged.
The game drives were by far one of our favorite parts of our stay. Lovemore, the ranger, is so knowledgeable and has such a passion for the animals and conservation. He works so hard to create the best experiences for the guests on his drive, and he does not disappoint! This was our first time on safari and we learned so much from Lovemore. We also saw some truly amazing sights! The game drives do not disappoint, we went on one every chance we could.
We loved our stay so much, it was truly an amazing first experience in South Africa! We already miss it and hope to be back one day. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone looked for a relaxing and enjoyable experience in the bush! For a great value no less.

Absolutely everything from start to finish, airport transfers were easy to find. the staff went above and beyond at all times. The lodge area was beautiful, quiet and relaxing.
The food was exceptional at all times and the chef came and said what he would be cooking and would personally check if we were enjoying it and if he could do anything else.
Fantastic lodge and can’t recommend enough!

We had a one night stopover at Ngala Lodge, a gem of a place.
The staff were superb, the meals we had were excellent made by chef Timothy, the setting is awesome in the bush, our room was beautiful & clean & very private with its own outside patio & fire pit area & a small kitchenette if you wanted to self cater. The main lodge was great with a pool & plenty of relaxing spaces.
We went on a game drive which was brilliant, our guide, Lovemore, was really good at tracking & found us a pride of 9 lion which was fantastic.
We will definitely be back again & will spend more than 1 night the next time.

We had a fantastic stay in this small lodge. It is set in the bush, each room/unit is private and very stylish. The service was excellent with really friendly and welcoming staff. The food was delicious. The game drive was great and the ranger was very passionate about his work and nature. We could stay for only one night but felt refreshed after this dip into the bush.
