The location and the wonderful staff and great value. Aziz was so helpful and informative and his wife cooked super dinners and breakfasts. We booked for two nights and stayed seven and only left because we had to catch a flight home. This is the best stay we have ever had in Morocco and will definitely come back.

Choukran (merci) Aziz !

The location and hospitality is incredible. They also have proper surfboards for rent. They make excellent food.
The bed was quite hard. In addition, it wasn’t clear that the meals I received were actually being sold to me, since they were simply offered to me. My bad and stupidity I guess. But keep in mind to carry enough cash to pay for the consumed meal upon your departure.

It is indeed tricky to write a review to this place. Firstly, it is hard, because it misses some fundamental parts which you expect to be part of any hostel/ hotel, such as some walls and a roof. Generally, you will either love or hate this place. It is located at a peninsula surrounded by rough sea ( perfect waves for experienced surfers ) and a desert. There are some more houses ( most of them misses some walls or roof ), trash ( occassionaly burning ), ruins of some other houses, sheep, puppies, small boys doing simple acrobatics, desert and cactuses on the peninsula. One finds also an amazing lighthouse and a small shop nearby which is run by the guy who is always close-by. Public bus nr. 33 stops nearby. The house itself is surrounded by stony desert, but you will find comfort and coziness inside. The owner, enthusiastic surfer, is very caring and willing to help you. Typical morrocan hospitality is present. Some details are still a bit provisional, such as a sewage pipe or electricity. However, it is all together a miracle, considering where the house stands. If you are lucky, you will taste the best tajin in your life, as I did. These two were with chilli, octopuses and eggs. The walls around a yard with outdoor sitting are decorated colorfully by a local artist.

Staff very friendly and welcoming. Amazing cooking.
No restaurants or shops nearby. Little isolation maybe part of the charm for some.
