Awesome family home. This 4000 square foot home is one of the largest vacation rentals you will find. We have brand new wide screen smart TVs throughout the whole house (gameroom TV is 70 inches). It has 4 bedrooms each with a queen size bed, 1 with additional bunk beds, and 1 with additional daybed and trundle make it great for groups of families. The 1000 square foot game room also has 2 over-sized window seats with covered thick foam that is almost the size of a twin bed. Many teenagers prefer to sleep up there. Gi-normous kitchen to feed all. We have high end Kitchen Aide stainless steel appliances which include a Viking stove, double ovens, dishwasher, trash compactor and even a warming drawer. The outdoor living space is exceptional also. We have a top of the line Fire Magic gas BBQ, a gas fireplace and a gas fire ring outside to enjoy (no wood needed outside). There are 2 large patio tables and additional bench level seating all around. It is a very private deck and patio area with great wooded views. We built the large game room when our kids were teenagers. The kids would spend hours up there playing or watching a movie and since it is on the 3rd level, we couldn't even hear them on the first level. Of course, us adults enjoy the game room too. The outside, which has a fireplace and fire ring, is a great place to relax at night and large enough for everyone to sit around. Of course, if it is cold enough, there is a wood burning fireplace inside. Don't forget the gas fireplace in the Master bedroom that can be enjoyed from the tub or in bed. This house is large enough to get everyone together and enjoy each others company but also large enough for one to slip away to be alone and have some down time. This house is located right next door to UCLA Bruin Woods Conference Center in Tavern Bay area. This is a quiet neighborhood and we would appreciate keeping the noise level down at night after 9pm.
As of 2020 my San Bernardino County STR (Short Term Rental) Permit no longer allows me to let my guest use some parts of the private Lake Arrowhead. They have made some access private only to homeowners and they will take our passes and give us a fine if we share them. However, you are allowed access to the lake trails and swimming in some areas. To get a day pass, you need to sign a waiver and pay $10 per person. You can view the beautiful lake from the village and many lakefront restaurants. There are still wonderful trails available through the San Bernardino County Park systems.
The house does not have AC like most houses in Lake Arrowhead. There are ceiling fans and cooling towers in every room if needed.

This was an amazing place to spend time with kids and family. The game room was great and got all of the kids to unplug and enjoy some good old fashioned fun. The outdoor space with the fire pit was great for getting fresh air and relaxing by the fire pit at night. Only about 15 minutes from the main town, shopping, and restaurants. We’d definitely stay here again!

This property is amazing. Communication with the property manager is great. Easy to find, close to stores and parks. My family enjoyed the Thanksgiving weekend, from the complete and high-end kitchen amenities to the nice patio and top-notch grill all the way to the game room (WARNING: The place is so nice, you'll never leave the house). It has all the kitchen gadgets you'll need, The house was very clean. Adults and kids had a great time. Highly recommended and will definitely book this again!

Incredible family/friends get together.
This is one of the extraordinary rental stay and its our second visit. Gaming room will make you lively any time. The property manager was so kind to give us extended checkout time and it really helped us a lot. The communications was so easy and very quick.
The only thing I want to point is the lack of closet space. Even though there are wardrobes, but some of them are occupied with stuffs already.

Great experience with lots of memories to cherish
It wasn’t our first time staying at the property. We already knew that the house was gonna be clean, which is the first thing that matters to me. Our kids enjoy the game room the most. We were lucky that it snowed and kids got to play outside. The only problem we had was the heater that just never reached above 65. Otherwise we had a blast.

Never have we booked the same house twice for a trip, but this one was a must to return to and especially with two new kids in tow. Paula is an amazing host who has built and maintained a fantastic home to welcome all guests. Her communication is IMMEDIATE and thorough. We had a great time. The property is very nice and clean. The backyard is amazing with duel fireplaces. The game room was truly great and equipped with different games.I recommend this property. The only thing this property is missing is access to the garage for easy loading and unloading the car.

Amazing home
Me and my family of 8 loved our stay. The home was perfect, we had 8 adults and an infant and it couldn't have been better. There was plenty of space for all of us. We could be together or get some space if needed. The game room upstairs is where we spent most of our time. Communication was perfect. Perfect family getaway
Online listing and photos accurately match the home! Our group of 9 had more than enough space to spread out. In fact, we didn't even use one of the bedrooms.
We loved the open kitchen and living area. The adults didn't want to leave. Our kids (ages 3-7) were obsessed with the HUGE game room and play area.

Thankfulness
Planning a trip as Aunts and Uncles to make memories with our adult niece, nephews and their wives, was exactly what the doctor ordered! The open kitchen and living area concept was perfect for chilling and meals around the table. The outdoor patio gave light and fresh air to our open conversations and the game room speaks for itself. A little family-friendly competition never hurts and sure made us laugh non-stop. A perfect weekend getaway turned into a week-long vacation. We stayed here for the second time this year. We had 4 adults and 5 kids, ages 7-13. The spacious house provided plenty of room for the kids to play and do their thing while the adults could hang and do their thing. The house is very clean and has all the necessary amenities (and then some). We would love to return again in the winter.

House was clean, had comfortable beds, and amazing deck for corn hole, and an incredible game room on the third floor, which is more than you could ever ask for. Paula was very kind and super communicative prior to our stay. Would recommend this home to any families or outings in arrowhead area. Played shuffleboard and ping pong for hours.

Beautiful Mountain Escape
My family had a wonderful time at this spacious home. We so enjoyed the outside fire pit and grill and had all our meals under the trees. There were beds for everyone and we didn't even hear the kids up in the game room all night! Such a treat for them. Huge thanks to Paula and we definitely hope to return to this amazing location!

No Air Conditioning
We’ve been to the house before and always enjoyed, but have gone during the winter. This was our first time going in the summer. We didn’t realize there was no AC and we went during a heat wave so really really hot inside. And the game room which my kids in the past have loved was just too hot to hang out in. Some of the rooms didn’t cool down even with the fans and windows open...

Relaxing
It was 2 families (total 11 people - 4 adults and 7 kids) that stayed here for a much needed getaway. Paula was always quick to respond. The house looks exactly like what was posted on the listing. The kids really enjoyed the game room and so did the adults! The house was neat and clean. There were plenty of blankets and linens. The kitchen has everything you may need to cook along with a large island table. The appliances were top of the line. Also, there were instructions around the house in case you need it which was really helpful especially when it comes to the fireplaces. We really felt like home for the weekend. Shared images of this place and so many of my friends want to book this place for their next getaway! We would definitely book this place again. Thanks Paula for having us!

Did Not Disappoint
From the moment we rented this property to the moment we left was an enjoyable experience. Paula is an amazing host and communicator. She’s very accommodating and easy to deal with. One of the unknowns with VRBO is do the pictures accurately represent the current state of the home. Well these pictures almost don’t do the home justice. Not a single person that joined us for our special weekend wasn’t enamored buy this home. It just has everything. If you haven’t found it just keep looking you probably will LOL. Our only discouragement was what seem to be neighbors that don’t have anything better to do than concern themselves with what is going on at this home. Next time we decided we’ll have Paula invite them over to join us and have something to do 😃. Unfortunately the Lake is Private but we enjoyed walking the neighborhood and having peek a boo views of the lake while doing so. We hope to return again in the winter for a getaway-if you’re on the fence about this home don’t be!
