Small families, couples, and weekend adventurers will find the perfect place for a relaxing coastal escape in Sea Spray, an oceanfront condo in Depoe Bay. Enjoy an inviting interior filled with modern comforts, sweeping views of the Central Oregon Coast, and a great location near several restaurants, varied souvenir shops, and amazing views from the rocky seawall. (The easiest sandy beach access is about two miles north at Fogarty Creek.)
Spend a quiet weekend indoors or rest between your adventures in this condo's comfortable confines. Wake with a fresh cup of joe from the Keurig coffeemaker, then review your day's plans. Catch a refreshing nap on leather sofas in the living area, or watch cable TV for entertainment. You could also pour some Oregon pinot, head out the deck, and settle into Adirondack chairs to take in the dramatic views of the rugged coastline.
The open-concept kitchen has everything you'll need to cook fresh-caught Dungeness crab and other local specialties, including stainless steel appliances and varied cookware. Enjoy group meals at the four-seat table, or take your meal onto the deck for an alfresco experience.
Time to call it a day? Retire home for restful slumber in either of two sleeping areas. A telescope in one bedroom is perfect for glimpsing twinkling nighttime stars, whales and ships, or a sunset on the horizon.
Depoe Bay is a quaint community featuring the world's smallest navigable harbor. You'll be less than a half-mile from the OPRD Whale Watching Center for great views of the seasonal gray whale migration, a half-mile from Dockside Charters for crabbing and fishing excursions, and about 12 miles from both Lincoln City to the north and Newport to the south.
Ready for some day trips? Head 14 miles north for stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating in Devils Lake, or go slightly farther north for gambling at Chinook Winds Casino. If you've brought kids, they'll love the educational exhibits and playful sea life at the Oregon Coast Aquarium in Newport, while those 21 and older will appreciate a brewery tour at Rogue Brewers on the Bay.
If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

nice modern downstairs basement apartment. to take dogs out you must climb the stairs, then go down steps to dog area. door lock very touchy, if you just barly touch wrong # not push, you will need to start over. view is fantastic.

Great location right in Depoe Bay. Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Rental is a downstairs apartment with deck overlooking the ocean; no beach access. Nicer than expected; need to update pictures on website. Rental has been updated quite a bit, new flooring, kitchen, bathroom. Plenty of dishes, cookware. No spices/food storage containers (Just a heads up!) Two bedrooms both with queen beds, all doors are sliding barn doors for one bedroom and bathroom. It looks like they are in the process of adding another barn door to the second bedroom so be aware that it is wide open to the living area at this time. Only recommendation would be to add some curtains to the sliding glass door out to the deck to block light and add privacy.

It wasn’t clear that this was the basement of a house and there would be tenants above us. If the people above us didn’t play drums everyday it would have been fine. Even though it is a basement it opens up to very nice view and deck right on the edge of the cove. The main problem with this stay was the floor. In both bedroom areas there was click together flooring and water would well up(and sometimes squirt up your legs) through the cracks when you would walk across it. Made the mistake of putting my bag down before I realized on day 2 what was happening…resulted in a very soaked bag along with most of my clothes. If there would have been laundry in the unit it would have been less of a problem, but as is it was kind of a bummer. I notified Vrbo about the floor/water issue, hopefully they will figure out the source of the water and pull up the floor and replace it. If this isn’t addressed it will likely result in toxic levels of mold as it gets warmer outside.

This little get away has the most stunning views we have ever been able to witness. It was King Tide and amazing 5+ stars. As to the property, it could also be an amazing review with a few tweaks and repairs. The kitchen had everything we needed. Coffee maker and a Keurig. The refrigerator is very small and the one that used to be in the property (pictured) looks like it has been discarded in a little area off the deck. The built-in microwave was taped shut but there was another on the counter. The toilet didn't seem to have a strong connection to the floor and was wobbly. We were two of us and our dog (which was very nice to have a very dog friendly property, with towels specifically for the dog). The second room with twin bed was unusable due to something going on with the floor. When you walked on it, water came up between the floor sections. We notified the trip manager immediately and were told it was something they were already aware of. Not sure what we would have done if we would have needed that space. The furniture in the living area was very nice and cozy. The ROKU TV is not set up for guest and we had to enter user and password information, didn't really like that. The bed was comfortable. There were plenty of towels, no hair dryer. Loved the portion of the bathroom floor that was heated. This is a basement unit with stairs to be aware of. Parking was on the street which was fine for our during the week stay. Not sure what it would be like on a weekend. You could hear the upstairs guests walking around but not any conversations. It was very private and easy access to town. There is a place next to the property to take the dog for potty break and a cute little park very close. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would go back with the knowledge of the floor and toilet repair.

The perfect location for whale watching, storm watching, local eateries and shops! Honestly the beat place to stay. Plus my dogs could be with me. I will 100% book this location again!

The view is amazing and it's so private considering you are in the heart of depoe bay. The kitchen is very basic so be prepared for that. Also there is no designated parking, which probably is not an issue unless you end up there during king tides holiday weekend like we did! Really a lovely time though, and other than a few minor issues, we truly enjoyed this property!!

Truly a nice beech house! The views of the bay were spectacular. Lots to do in see in the area.

It has an amazing view. Right on the ocean . We did see a whale in the harbor , while we were there. Probably could of seen the whale from the deck . There was an odor at the place. Musty & urine smell. Not to overpowering that it made me feel sick. Noticed it mostly by the bed. The toilet was loose. When we plugged in our phones , they kept falling out. Needs new outlets. In the one room it was like water was seeping from the floor. Almost like after shower from wet feet. Owner doesn’t want shoes wore inside. But floors weren’t that great. Overall it was a decent place. The views make up for the rest.

The views are spectacular, there is no location more waterfront in Depoe Bay i can think of. There is no place for your pup to do its business on property but there are 3 parks within a 2 minute walk. the fridge is on the small side but we made it work fine. we will stay again.

This was ok for a short stay. Right in town but not a close walk to a beach. Common room floor was a bit different. Tv did not get very many channels. Beds were comfortable, great view ! There is a telescope but we could not get it to work.

We were excited to find a place that accepted pets (at no additional cost). The unit we stayed in was clean and the view was 100% unbeatable. Parking was in street only, but we didn’t have any problems finding a spot when we got back from a day out.
The location right across from the small strip of shops was a nice added bonus for a quick morning jaunt to get some coffee and breakfast.
We would have no hesitation to stay here again.

Theunit was clean and inviting. The view from the deck was awesome! We were able to see whale spouts every day and one came close enough to give us great tail photos.
The only downside was the refrigerator. The current one is even smaller than the one in the listing photos. If staying a week, plan on using a cooler.
6.0 / 10.0
The location and views were great. There were basic utensils and amenities available. The space was visually clean. However, there was a pet urine odor that could not be ignored. We had to keep the patio door open to allow air ventilation for the majority of our stay. We could not locate the origins.
We all agreed that we would not stay there again unless the odor issue is resolved.

This is an amazing place to stay! Its right in town, yet private. It is on the smaller side and we did detect sewage odor a few times. Kitchen was adequate. The unit was clean and VRBO was responsive to need for additional towels. Our dog was allowed to stay so we were very happy overall.

View is awesome.
There are steep steps to go down into the apartment. Would not be a good location for anyone who has problems going up and down stairs.
The bathroom is disgusting. It smells like sewerage and the floor is nasty. I can’t emphasis enough how bad the floor is.
10.0 / 10.0
The view from this property is unmatched, we sat on the deck and watched the waves crash for hours!
Positives:
The home is right next door to a public park, perfect for taking the doggies out for a little while without having to go far.
The floors throughout are virtually indestructible, perfect for pets (no gross carpet)
The deck is private and has amazing views of the bay. (Big win, possibly best part about it!)
The home had great lighting, heated floors in the bathroom, and a very large shower.
Very centrally located, easy to walk to the shops and restaurants downtown and the large look out point located just across from the downtown hub!
The wall mounted heater works very well and they have additional space heaters available in case the back bedroom gets a little cold when the door is shut.
Possible downsides:
Dishwasher is out of order.
Handle on the shower is backwards (Cold is hot, hot is cold. We thought the hot water was broken due to this but just turn the opposite way of normal)
TV has very limited capabilities, you cannot screen share from another device, no HBO max, Hulu, Disney+ or movies available to put into the DVD player so be prepared to bring your movies from home!
There are stairs leading into the home which may be difficult for older people or children.
If there are more than 2 people staying, the master bedroom is open to the living room, so not a lot of privacy (this was no issue for us since there were only 2 of us.)
Overall this is exactly what we were looking for! Great for any couple who wanted to bring the pets along for a coastal trip!

The unit was fine to a degree. We had to bring two coolers since the fridge is a mini fridge maybe okay for one person, definitely not for 4 people. The dishwasher was out of order but there was no scrubber so we used one of the two wash cloths. There are outlets but they are covered and not useable. There is a coffee maker and toaster but no outlets in kitchen so you have to find an outlet and move those appliances? There was only 2 towels and 2 washcloths for bathroom. Shower is not private at all so if one person is taking a shower there is no way to use the toilet at that time. You can hear every footstep upstairs. But the beds were comfortable and it is located right in town. The deck and view was awesome!

Water was seeping through the floor in the second bedroom. There were lots of sugar ants on the counters in the kitchen.

Nice deck, great up close ocean view. Everything was neat, clean, roomy and comfortable. Unfortunately the telescope’s base was broken so it wouldn’t attach to the stand. We would definitely come back

Clean and great view of ocean
4.0 / 10.0
Breathtaking ocean view. Absolutely stunning! Deck was green and needs pressure washing. No windows or ventilation other than sliding glass door which doesn't have a screen door due to this place has odd smell..
Glassware pathetic.Dishwasher wasn't working & had taped hand written "out of order " sign. Weird gross bathroom. It was so dirty I wore flip flops in house at all times. Gross!!! Floors throughout entire home were equally gross. They offered to send someone to clean but we had just checked in, dogs, kids, last thing I needed was some stranger cleaning while we are trying to settle in.
Mini college dorm room fridge.
Side grass seating area lots of random people coming back and forth as u r sitting on deck. It's the lower level so long dark staircase into basement unit.
Bedroom w 2 beds is larger than it looks in pic. We brought a single air mattress and worked great for our 3 kids. It's dog friendly which is great. The view Is magical
The deck is so large and great. It could use a hot tub, an outdoor eating table and sectional.
Had a small Dog potty area.
Cheap Walmart steak knife duct taped together .A used vaping mouthpiece on bookshelf. No plug ins in kitchen. Had to put Keurig on floor to plug in.
While i absolutely enjoyed the views, we will not stay here again especially for $500/night.

One of the few times a place had exceeded expectations. We loved our stay at this unit. The deck was amazing!

Cozy and close to harbor.
4.0 / 10.0
The shower floor is concrete and embedded riverrock, which hides any dirt but once you look close, you can't unsee it. There's what looks like mold on the wall, and the entire shower floor is caked in with black gunk, either mold or scum or likely a combo. It appears the shower stall hasn't been cleaned in months. I used a butter knife to scrape off some of the filth just to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I texted the local number that asked me to rate the cleanliness and expressed my dismay, sent video and photos as illustration, was told the local crew would take care it and let me know when it was remedied, and then I never heard back. Because the shower and the bathroom are one big open room with nothing to hide the shower, we had to look at that disgusting floor every time we used the bathroom. Needless to say, this ruined what would otherwise have been a lovely stay because the view really is amazing and the unit is otherwise nice.

We stay 4 nights 6/9-6/12/22. All beds had hairs and cat hairs, dog hairs. All floors were wet and it was hard to breathe. We had 2 small kids and it was a problem for us.
Because of rainy weather we were not able to go outside to the deck. But as we know that ocean has rain many days in a year it would be great to cover it.
Thank you.

Vacation nightmare
We ended up picking this home because of the view and it looked cute from the pictures. Once we got there.....we realized that we were right on Hwy 101, Never did the listing say it was a condo and others are above you. This place is so noisy and you can hear everything upstairs. The lady upstairs walked back and forth on the heels of her feet from 6am in the morning and continued all day. She also had a dog that she would throw a ball and the dog would bark and chase the ball across the floor. Also, we had to carry our luggage down a flight of stairs. I'm 65 and my husband is 71.....that was not easy for us. The view is the best but not worth what they want a night for a rundown condo with a tiny fridge. Save your money!! Oh and the place smells so bad of pets......we had to buy room spray just to stay there.

Beautiful view, but possible unhealthy.
This would have been the perfect place if it were not for the issues with water leakage and noise. When you walk in the 2nd bedroom, water squishes out from between the linoleum boards. I did notify the management, however, in looking back through the review, it seems this has been an ongoing problem since at least 2019. While I understand that it would probably be expensive to fix, I'm sure that it has to be causing mold issues, which can be very unhealthy/dangerous. Not to mention, the grossness factor of walking in water. I did see where they were going to have it looked in 2020, but nothing was done to fix it. Also, VERY noisy, you can hear every footstep from upstairs and their dogs galloping around. The view though, was stupendous. Would I stay again? Most definitely not! Might consider staying in the upper unit because of the views and location.
