Kauai Vacation Rentals has many properties that they manage well. We have now stayed in three total that they manage. The process is easy and the staff is capable, professional and full of Aloha. This townhome we recently stayed in was three stories and had steps but we had packed pretty light and didn’t have much to carry up or down. This home just had a brand new refrigerator delivered as we were leaving and all other appliances worked well. The coffee maker is a drip and there are the appropriate filters in a cabinet.The king-size bed was very comfortable. Bring shampoo, there is none provided. You park your vehicle in the garage, so a smaller vehicle would be easier to maneuver in and out of the single car garage. Beach chairs and even a cart was located in the garage. A great stay.

Beach chairs and tent were perfect.The pool and hot tub were brilliant. We used them at least once a day. Inside the condo was warm, but there were lots of fans available to cool it down. It was an awesome experience. We plan to come back and hopefully get the same condo. There is no AC. We kept the windows open. Some window screens had damage and some bugs were able to enter. There were maybe 5 roaches and one bit my wife. There were also a couple of lizards that scared my son. We are in Kauai so we expected some bugs. I am going to miss this place and the chickens.

The owner obviously cares about the property from impressions while we were there. There was beach gear, cooler for storing drinks while at the beach and on the road. The neighborhood was very quiet. We (50+ YOA siblings and wife) would stay here again. The rental management company answered all of our questions and gave us very useful info for touring the island.

we were 2 couples and our adult son who enjoyed our stay at Kamalii 50. We have always stayed walking distance from Tunnels but rates have sky rocketed, so we chose this instead. Beautiful home, plenty of room for the 5 of us. Clean, nice community, the pool and hot tub were nice after a long day in the sun. We found our place to walk to for sunset and enjoyed strolling the golf course trails.

The villas are in a safe community, not far off the highway, so you are not winding around deep into a neighborhood just to get back to home base - go to North Shore General Store right next to the gas station in Princeville and order a burger from Fina at the counter, she’s the best! Kauai Vacation Rentals provided wonderful customer service and is in a very easy to find location a few minutes from the airport.

The condo was perfect for our week long family vacation. Every child had their own bed, no need to share and with three bathrooms it was easy for our family to shower after the ocean! The kitchen was fully stocked with all the gadgets we needed to cook all meals in the condo. Bonus was that there were beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys on the garage as well. It did get a tiny bit hot without air conditioning, but there were plenty of fans for every room!

Return to Kauai!
We have traveled to Kauai a dozen times in the past, so know the island well. The villa we rented was great-the photos on the site don't really do it justice. There are three levels, a bedroom and bathroom on each level which is ideal for a family traveling. We especially appreciated that the home had all the amenities for the beach-flippers, chairs, noodles and a cooler! There was also a washer and dryer that had not been mentioned but was very much appreciated! We did use the pool and hot tub a few times and found that it lacked the sparkling water we are used to. Would definitely recommend this home to others!

Great home in a beautiful location!
We really enjoyed staying in this home. It was very spacious and had an amazing mountain view. The location of the home was perfect for all the beaches on the Northside that we wanted to visit. I had to call the rental company with questions related to the key pick-up location and such, they were always very responsive and helpful! Also, the rental company of the road work and unusual traffic in the area before finalizing the reservation. It was great to be aware of it ahead of time, so we could adjust my plans accordingly.

Great layout, needs some maintenance
We have stayed in this complex before a few years ago, not this exact unit. We love the split level style, even with six people it feels very spacious. We love looking out at the mountains and waterfalls in the morning while we have coffee on the lanai. The condo needs a real refresh. There were holes in the upholstery of the couch. The chair cushions and carpets were stained, the trim on the bathroom cabinets and some of the baseboards are broken and shabby looking. We understand that these condos get a lot of use and not everyone treats places as the would if it was there own but we expect things to be tidy and not ripped. It would be an amazing place with a refresh of the furnishings.

Very nice villa with great mountain views
The layout of this clean, well furnished villa worked well for our family of 6. The pool and hot tub were a short walk. We used the barbecue near the pool but it wasn't very efficient and would be nice if there were more barbecues for the complex. The villa had a number of fans that helped but in Hawaii expect that it will be humid and warm without AC.

The floor plan in this condo was great for a group of 3 couples allowing separate spaces. Great accomodations. Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of space for seating. Would definitely stay here again!! Enjoyed the pool and hot tub also! Most of the time we were the only ones there. Only negative is it was only May and really warm even in the evening.

We enjoyed our stay here. We appreciated the beach chairs and beach toys for our kids. Overall we had a great time and it was nice to have so much room for our family. We had two adults and our four young kids and while we didn’t spend a lot of our time at the condo, coming back to it every evening and being able to relax together was perfect.
