Amazing Tahoe Donner home. Located near the top of the mountain. Great views on your way up the mountain. 3 bedroom/ 2 bathroom with family room, loft area and fun filled game room. Perfect for family vacation. Large bedroom upstairs with King size bed. BR upstairs with shower. Relaxing loft area with large screen TV and big picture windows to enjoy your morning cup of coffee. Ottoman in loft area pulls out to a twin size bed. Downstairs features comfortable family area with pellet stove leading into kitchen area. Kitchen has all the comforts of home for cooking. Table seats 8 with additional seating for 2.Beautiful deck off the kitchen area. Stairs lead down to huge area for snow play and snowman making. Two bedrooms downstairs.One bedroom has one king bed. The other bedroom has one bunk bed( a roll out is available). Second bathroom with tub. Entry off the garage is our game room. Game room is quite spacious with a pool table, dining table, television and sofa area. Much fun to had!!!

This was our second stay here and once again, we absolutely loved it. The house has everything we needed to recharge after a long day exploring Tahoe and Truckee. The kitchen is well stocked from pots and pans to a full spice drawer. The game room provided hours of entertainment for the kids and the hot tub on the balcony was a great addition since our last stay.

We were here during an intense heat wave...but fortunately the owner was very responsive when we needed passes to the pool/beaches and the house had great working fans throughout. There is a lot of space here for gatherings even though this stay was just our immediate family of 4. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, the beds are very comfortable, the game room with pool table is a fun amenity.

Wonderful stay, house is clean and well stocked. The kids had a blast in game room. Communication with owners was great. No a/c but fans kept house cool just fine on the hot summer days.

Overall the property was nice. Well stocked with kitchen items and plenty of linens. The beds were very comfortable. It does need a little update for summer usage. The jacuzzi needed maintenance and the outside deck and table needed some care as they have suffered from the winter months with lots of opportunities for slivers in their current condition.

The home matched the images precisely—neat, wonderfully rustic, and nestled peacefully in the mountains. Its tranquil ambiance was a true delight. The kitchen boasted all the necessary amenities for preparing delicious meals, and the game room was a definite hit with the kids. We even got to even see a lynx bobcat!!! Moreover, its proximity to various attractions was convenient, with a short drive to downtown Truckee and the lake. Our experience was fantastic, and we're already planning our return!

This is the perfect house!! We would love to stay here again. It has a well stocked kitchen, comfy beds with plenty of extra linens, great bathrooms, an upstairs lounge, a separate games room, a hot tub, a fantastic entryway for snowy boots etc and plenty of outdoor space. All of which are very clean and well maintained. Raymund and Karen have thought of every need, and the house provides so much comfort. Due to a massive snow storm, we lost power the first day, but were incredibly comfortable. The home and games room both have very efficient backup heat, a gas stove and plenty of water. My only recommendation is to include your phone numbers in the House Book in case wifi goes out.

The house was fantastic. The guys loved the game room and hot tub. The location was great. I loved having access to the neighborhood trails and the ability to access the Tahoe National Forest. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen and the many board games.

I am so grateful for Raymund and Karen for making their beautiful home available to us. My parents were unable to join us, but my husband, son and I had a lovely, relaxing time. The house was impeccable and had everything that we needed for our stay and more. Having the two separate areas for entertainment: upstairs, and the game room, was luxurious. We were impressed that all the facilities were turned on and ready for us at the time of our arrival. Thank you again, and we hope you will allow us to stay at your lovely place again.

The property was impeccably maintained and beautifully furnished, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped, allowing us to cook meals easily. The spacious living area and cozy bedrooms were perfect for relaxation after a long day. What truly stood out was the fantastic communication from the property owner/manager. Another stay at this wonderful property. The location is very nice - quiet, with a good mountain feel. The house is very welcoming, comfortable, clean and well-appointed. It's easy to feel at home here. Plenty of activities available within a short drive. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, as well. We would certainly stay here again, and knowing my daughter, probably will!

This cabin is spacious, comfortable, furnished to a very high standard & extremely well equipped-there was nothing we needed. We have stayed at several cabins in this area over the last few years & this was by far the best. The games room was a big hit with the family when we were snowed in. The owners promptly replied to my email query. I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

The cabin is *fine* - was what we needed for the price, though there are definitely some things that could be improved. The heat is super uneven throughout the house (and the central heat smells pretty awful when it's turned up) which makes some rooms freezing cold and others a sweltering sauna. The game room needs to be accessed through the garage, which makes is less desirable than if it were attached. That garage doesn't have an automatic opener, but needs to be manually opened and closed, which is kind of a pain in the cold, ice or snow. The kitchen lacks some basics like a tea kettle to heat hot water or a coffee grinder. Also, note: There's an Amazon Ring on the front door and it seems that the owners are monitoring it for who is coming and going, which definitely made us a bit uncomfortable. We accidentally brought our dog along with us, not realizing this was a pet-free property (totally on us, we messed up!), but the owners sent us an email telling us that it was "obvious" that we'd brought a dog with us and requested an additional $300 cleaning fee, which we happily paid because, like I said, we messed up (even though our dog is super well behaved and made no detectable mess at all). But it seems the only way the owners could have known that was by checking out their Ring doorbell notifications. So, renter beware.

I think you can tell a lot about any vacation home you rent by the love you feel from its owners. This mountain cabin exudes that warmth and love. Every room is equipped with everything you could imagine. From a brand new hot tub on the private deck to a Billiard room dedicated to the mom of the family. We were celebrating our 50th anniversary and wanted to stay in Tahoe Donner. This home was perfect in so many ways. The home is spacious, comfortable and clean with all the amenities we could ask for. It's in a quiet neighborhood, high in the Tahoe Donner development. The home is a short drive from Donner Lake and downtown Truckee. It's also an easy drive to Lake Tahoe. The owners are wonderful hosts and responded quickly to our inquiries. We plan on returning for another stay and we highly recommend this wonderful vaccation home.

We very much enjoyed the stay. Being familiar with the area, it felt like a return home. The house was clean, inviting, and easy to live in. Owners were gracious, and one felt welcomed. We had such a wonderful stay! The home fit our family so well, and we can't wait to go back. We enjoyed all the cozy spaces to hang out, as well as the well-stocked kitchen and comfy beds. The pool table was a ton of fun! The power went out for a little bit, and we easily found the provided lanterns and flashlights. Thank you for a great trip!

Well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, games, 2 TVs, pool table made for lots of variety. We were disappointed that using the recreational facilities have become so expensive that we will probably look for rentals in other areas than Tahoe Donner. The house however is well worth returning to.

We rented this house for a girls weekend getaway and it was perfect. We had 5 women and there was a lot of space and extra beds to spare. The house was cool all day even with the heat and the beds are very comfortable. It is a great cabin in the Donner Truckee area!
