Øland at its best!

Karin, one of the sisters owning the B&B, welcomed us with her happy smile and generous laughter. She made us feel home and was clearly proud and keen on providing a great experience for the guests. Highly recommended place in the not-so-busy southern part of Øland!

Absolutely beautiful oasis. We were welcomed by an amazing owner that got my grumpy 5 year old from disliking everything and everyone to being sad that the owner wasn't staying with us by the end of the check in process. The place itself has a massive beautiful garden that you can use and you have your rooms connected just to it. Breakfast is served when you want in the morning and instead of a buffé you fill in a paper the day before what you want. The owner also graciously brewed extra coffee and arranged so my twin brother could join in the morning even though he stayed at another hotel. Good parking was also provided just outside for all of the guests. Highly recommend for everyone staying in the area.

Fantastic stay

The property is charming and very well maintained. We really appreciated that the host asked us about our breakfast preferences the day before, it was delicious and we could tell a lot of thought went into preparing it; loved the local bakery goods offered. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive throughout our stay as well.

Reasonable accommodation at an affordable price.

In the evening, it was possible to make wishes for the next morning's breakfast. The breakfast was what we wanted. It was also possible to dine in the garden of the building in good weather. Cozy atmosphere.

The entrance could be better marked and it would be good to have a door bell to notify the staff of your arrival. At first we weren't sure where the entrance was and we first knocked on a couple of doors to no avail. We also had to look for staff a bit when we arrived.

Fantastic stay

Great location, fantastic property with a big, beautiful garden. There are a table and chairs in front of each room, and other tables in the garden. The beds and pillows are comfortable and the rooms quiet and clean. Breakfast is delicious. You have to choose from a list the evening before (where you also write the quantity you want). Kitchen is shared with the other rooms and is fully equipped (each room has its own cupboard with plates, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery and tea towel).

We felt welcome and were taken good care of during our (short) stay by wonderful hosts.

The hosts are very friendly and did their best to make our stay as good as possible. The breakfast in the garden was very nice. Room was clean and quiet. Free private parking was available just outside the rooms.

The twin beds in our room were a bit narrow and the wireless Internet was a shy slow.

The two sisters/owners are very kind, helpful, and lovely. We stayed for 2 weeks, with a dog and a baby and everything went smoothly.

Perfect homestay!

This is just a perfect homestay to be at if you want a calm, peaceful and close to the sea location. It is run by two sisters who are just amazing hosts. They sort of spoiled us with their service. Do try the breakfast sourced from local sources. The rooms are cozy and well furnished, garden is big, spacious and well maintained. And the best part, it is quite central in the small town, yet very peaceful, so much that you can hear the birds chirping through the day. And it is just a couple of blocks away from the beach. All in all, it was a perfect stay for us. I would definitely be back here again.

Everything was as it should, nothing to dislike.

We are very happy with our stay. We have managed to see a lot, visit new places and even bike around

WE have really enjoyed our stay at Lakstens B&B. The place is quiet and beautiful with its garden and private entries. It is well located on the quiet street of a very peaceful small village, close to the sea. The breakfast was tasty and big and also served with much care and affection to guests.
