A stay in Abigail house was very nice. This house is unique, nice, with worm and victorian atmosphere.
Only note, that mistresses are not very comfortable. But overall our experience is very positive!

The property was easy to locate. The home was situatated perfectly where my family and I could walk to the lake and the quaint shops in the town. The house was clean and comfortable. All family members felt at home. The only thing i would say its the squeakiness of the stairs, aside from that my family and i enjoyed the home. We plan to do it again soon.

This adorable home is in the perfect location. Quick walk to Queen St and Lake Ontario. Great for families traveling with older teens/college kids.

This place was lovely and so close to the main downtown area, very walkable. The place was clean, well stocked, and comfortable, and contact with the host was easy and responsive. We would stay here again!

The house is old, so is the furniture and actually so is most things in the house, but you cant beat the location. It is about a block and a half from the main strip of niagara on the lake. We were able to walk to everything. Once you got past the dingy kitchen and well used furniture it was a great spot and met all our needs. We had a great time here.

Plenty of space for the 6 of us. Outside seating a plus.

It was very clean inside! We enjoyed also the backyard where we had a good time together!

Really enjoyed our stay there. Would totally recommend this property to anyone who was looking to find a spot to stay while in NOTL.
One item that we felt was a slight inconvenience was our suitcases we were coming from a conference and taking an Uber to the property and no where to drop off our luggage on day of check in and were not able to store our luggage on day of departing. With the money spent nightly I wish there was a little more wiggle room. We managed it with a very kind neighbor who happened to see us pulling our luggage.

Our family was in Niagara on the Lake for a wedding. The Abigail house was located just minutes from the wedding venue and the downtown area. We were able to walk everywhere.
We enjoyed our stay at the Abigail house and in the NOTL area.
Thanks

The space and location—perfect. The hundreds of roaches—the stuff of nightmares.

Five senior women met up for a wine tour weekend. Great location to walk to theatres or shops. We loved the screened in porch for late afternoon gatherings. House is not open plan like many today. It reminded us of our homes we grew up in.

It worked out brilliantly for 3 adults and two seniors. Having a bedroom and bathroom on the main floor was wonderful. So happy we were able to spend the long weekend this way. Next time we will bring ice for the first night's cocktails.
Only suggestions: main floor bedroom needs two bedside tables of some sort and the 24 inch oven is small and slow.
Fyi you need some tree work done ( huge hollow limb is over hanging the carriage house) and sadly it looks like the boxwood in the back yard have a terminal case of blight. Sorry, we had a gardener and a very old tree man in our group so it was noticed!
Thank you again

Only 2 blocks from the main street in town and very close to the bike path - we could easily walk to the shops and restaurants and ride our bikes to several wineries and breweries. The cleaners were not very thorough - they forgot to clean the dining room table (stuck food and crumbs from previous guests), windowsills and baseboards had not been cleaned in quite a while.

The location is fabulous!
Lots of space, lovely patio, well stocked house.

Great location, but very old
This house is clean and in great location - just a block from the main street which has all restaurants and shops, walking distance to lake, management is responsive, but its just a very old house. We are used to old (~100 year old) houses but this felt old even to us - living room space is fairly small, narrow stairs which creak a LOT (would wake up others if you went up/down at night) though rest of rooms are decent size, small old style bathtub upstairs where curtains touch you if you take a shower in it, wireless is slow (despite their notes to reset boosters which we did). You have to prop open windows using wooden sticks and there was smell of oil/gas once during our stay that the management promptly attended to (apparently it was because heating had started, so not sure how it would be in winter months). Other than that, it is a good house and well kept. Backyard has a small garden and outdoor seating which was nice.

Nice and quiet location
Missing plug for clawfoot tub
Would be lovely to have a path to outdoor sitting area

Charming Older Home
We really enjoyed our stay. Definitely would have liked to stay longer. We had 6 in our party & there was ample room for all of us. We appreciated the cleanliness of all rooms, with comfy beds & ample towels.

Modest home in great location. Adequately stocked for needs.
House was as depicted in listing. The main floor bedroom was perfect for my 89 year old mother. Nice getaway to see area in winter . Adequately stocked. Main floor was cold in relation to upper floors that were almost too hot to sleep. Oddly many bugs came out and were evident throughout the house. Strange for winter. Overall nice experience though. Location was perfect. Rooms were comfortable. Would stay again as this fits our needs and was enjoyable.

A quaint small house
As soon as I stepped foot into the Abigail house, I was brought back to my grandparents' home. The owners have maintained its charm with a lot of the original build. We absolutely enjoyed our werkend. A fitting home for our family reunion.

Exceeded our expectations
This was the perfect spot for our 3-day visit to Niagara-on-the-Lake and surrounding area. The house is comfortable, cozy, well-equipped and has loads of character. It's located in a lovely, quiet area, but there are plenty of lively places to eat nearby, including an Irish pub with good food at the bottom of the street. It's also a stone's throw from lots of great shops and the Shaw Festival theatres. Would definitely stay here again!

Great Location!
Nice century home in a fantastic location. We took our 87 year old mom for a girls weekend and had a great time. Loved that it was so close to downtown. It was a cool weekend so we couldn't use the sunporch, but it would be a great space in the warm weather, Communication was great and check in was a breeze.

Great property, very spacious - four of us stayed but there could have been more of us and it still would have been spacious - and close to the main street of restaurants/boutiques. Easy check-in/out and great managment.
