The place is not to high up on the hill so the daily walk is a breeze. House is well equipped with everything you need. There's a neighborhood market that sells the basics & Yah Yah Cafe is nice neighborhood breakfast spot. Beach & town square are super close by. Highly recommend.

Nice, clean, house with everything we needed for a nice stay in Sayulita. Close to the plaza, but not so close you can't fall asleep. 50 yards from cafe with good coffee and pasteries. If we bring friends next time we will encourage them to rent the upstairs portion of the house.

Our stay was wonderful and I would absolutely recommend this property to my friends and family. It was large, clean and had all the amenities we were looking for. Maria provided a pack and play for our little guy and the blinds were even dark enough to keep the room cool and dark during his nap! It's close to the town centre but far enough away its quiet at night. Plus having Yah Yah Cafe just steps away was a real bonus. If you're looking for a spot for your family I would highly recommend this!

We loved staying here. Great location to walk to things but quieter than right in town. The beds were comfortable. beach chairs, towels and umbrella were a bonus as was the ability to store surfboards in the back and hang suits on the line. The only downside was parking our big rental truck. This is on a very steep hill and narrow street. Also, the photos show an AC unit in the living room which is not accurate- only in the bedrooms but they worked well. Would highly recommend casa Sarita

Great for 3-4 people. Wonderfully set up kitchen for cooking plus washer dryer set. Includes beach towels and chairs/umbrella. Short 5 min walk to beach and main plaza. Just perfect!

Family of 4, perfect property and exactly as advertised.

Cute property nicely upgraded with full kitchen and all amenities of home. Wonderful front porch. Coffee Shop very close by. Short walk to Plaza. Roads are cobblestone and not easy walk for my elderly husband who uses cane. No worries though, cabs are plentiful and cheap to get around town.

I cannot say enough about this beautiful, comfortable house, and it's incredibly helpful owners. It was the perfect size for myself, my fiance, and my sister for Thanksgiving 2018. We really appreciated all of the extras: beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas that saved us the hassle and expense of renting them from the locals, particularly as the holiday weekend meant a lot of beach crowding, and we ended up at San Francisco beach a few times just to have some peace and quiet. I will also say that all the complaints about the neighbors' rooster are spot on, as well as the on-going street noise. If you are looking for a quiet spot above the bustle of the town, you will not find it here. One other constraint, at least for the next few months, is the amount of construction traffic on Calle Ninos Heroes. Because it is a narrow, single lane road and large, heavy trucks were heading up and down, there were numerous times that we ended up trapped in on Calle Bugambilias or in the square while we waited while trucks and cars got throttled waiting to pass each other. The day we left there were government workers there painting yellow curbs that should discourage parking on the shoulder (there are relatively few sidewalks) so that more traffic can pass through, so perhaps this will not apply to future renters. Finally, if you decide to rent a car, be sure to get a small one. We saw a number of Americans in Suburbans that could barely navigate the Sayulita streets.

The first floor apartment was roomy and beautifully furnished. Everything you would want was available, even a washer and dryer. Plenty of privacy. The grounds were lush and inviting......neighborhood cats even came to visit, and we love cats. It is a quick five minute walk to town and is at the base of the hill, so no long climbs. We even got used to the rooster in the morning.....lol. We really loved our stay. Sayulita is amazing and Casa Sarita is PERFECT.

We enjoyed our stay at Casita Sarita. The casita had great amenities; appreciated all of the beach supplies, the washer and dryer were appreciated. Maria and Jorge were very helpful. We contacted them a few times with questions, and got immediate responses. Since we both became sick within 48 hours of arriving in Sayulita (which is not unusual), we spent more time in the Casita than we expected. Ended up taking day trips to San Pancho several days to avoid whatever was making us sick in Sayulita, and this was helpful. The taxi fare to San Pancho was 150 pesas each way, the restaurants were clean and reasonably priced, beach chairs were available for the purchase of a few beverages. All in all a good trip, not sure we will be back.

The property on the site appears much larger than it is. It's very close to not very nice neighbouring yards. We were aware that we were near town but hadn't expected to hear such loud music for the first week, some bar band playing late into the evenings. AND, every day awakened by the neighbors rooster, beginning at 4:00 am and carrying on into the morning. The house was fine, other than two power failures. Nice owners.

Cass Sarita was absolutely perfect for two couples. Great location, lovely setting, beautifully equipped kitchen and all the extras you need. Maria and Jorge were wonderful hosts. Would return in a heartbeat!

We stayed at Casa Sarita over the Christmas break, 2017. This is a quiet neighborhood close to the beach and downtown. There is always something going on downtown here, and street performers are very loud. The house is around the corner from downtown but still very quiet. The only thing that is noisy here are the roosters that wake up between 5-7am. My teenage kids were not happy but I found that charming. They are part of Sayulita. The house is clean with tile flooring which keeps it cool. There is AC but we did not use it as the fans worked well. The rooms were spacious for the four of us. I particularly enjoyed the stone work on the sinks, shower floor and the arched sealing. You can also see similar patterns throughout Sayulita. The kitchen is complete and I really enjoyed cooking on the gas stove. There are fruit stands and small market stores within walking distance to the house for food supplies. The nice veranda was the place we spend mornings and/or evenings. Our kids loved the hammock and the wifi reaches out there for face time. The beach supplies were nice to have. Mary and Jorge were always available by phone or email if we needed anything and very easy to work with. I would come back here again and again. Thank you Jorge, Mary and Teresa! We loved staying at your beautiful house!

Spacious yet cozy! The rooms stayed nice and cool. It was also great to have bottled water available. The beach supplies were also a bonus.

My two friends and I had a fantastic stay at Casa Sarita. The photos don't do the place justice. It's very spacious and comfortable with all the amenities you would want. It's a short walk from town center (not really uphill so no golf cart needed), but far enough away so that it's a peaceful escape. The kitchen is great with shiny new appliances, plenty of pots, pans, and utensils, but you might want to swing by the store to get some basic foodstuffs. There's laundry and a number of beach items (umbrella, towel, cooler) so you can spend a relaxing day on the beach anytime. Showers have very good water pressure and plenty of space. Would definitely stay here again!

If you like an amazingly beautiful jungle hillside, descending into a stunningly picturesque yet quaint little town filled with amazing food and Incredibly friendly people, on an incomparably beautiful beach and indescribably beautiful ocean, you won't be disappointed in Sayulita. The only thing more stunning than the setting is Casa Sarita.  The Casa is perfection.  It is serenity. It's close to all the action, yet quiet, aside from chattering roosters. The house itself is perfection.  Beautiful tiling and woodwork throughout. Granite countertops. Everything about Casa Sarita is extremely comfortable. It's not a place to stay, it's a home.  It comes with boogie boards, a surf board, beach chairs and a full complement of beach equipment.  The property is very safe and secure. It is NOT a party house or appropriate for folks with such interests.  It IS for families and those seeking a peaceful and authentic Mexican experience. Jorge and Maria are very nice and very responsive. We would stay forever if we could.

My mom and I stayed at Casa Sarita during Christmas and we absolutely loved it! The location is great, near the plaza but a few minutes walk away so it's very peaceful. With a spacious kitchen, laundry, lots of beach supplies, and a great patio with a hammock, it had everything we needed. Mary was super helpful and very responsive, which was much appreciated. I would definitely stay here again!

Our overall experience at Casa Sarita was exceptional. Everything a family needs to relax, be comfortable, and have fun was there for us upon our arrival. There wasn't a point in time where we "needed" anything. The house was close to the center of town, minutes away from the beach and even near playa de los muertos. We have vacationed to Sayulita for four years and we all agree that this was our favorite place to stay. Thank you Mary, Jorge and Tere.

We absolutely loved this little house. We traveled with our three-year-old and one-year-old and this house was perfect for us. Having looked at other rentals in Sayulita, this house seemed to better suited for a small family. Here are some of the things we enjoyed: - One level with yard - no high balconies - Bedrooms close together, easy to hear - Owners provided a cot similar to a pack-n-play, perfect for our littlest - Air conditioning in the bedrooms was great for sleeping or to cool off when the heat got too much. - Wifi made it possible for us to use our cell phones with no international charges. - House is stocked with lots of extras that we were invited to use - beach toys, beach towels, cooking equipment, sunhats, beach bag, body boards, even a surfboard. If you need something, ask before you go and they probably have it! The house was beautifully decorated and the cleaner came frequently. The owner was very nice and responded quickly to questions. Casa Sarita was as described, and a great place to stay. We arrived to be met by Jorge, who welcomed us and made sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was clean, very comfortable, and well equipped. A cleaner came twice during the week we were there. The location was perfect - just far enough from the centre of Sayulita to be peaceful, yet only 3 minutes walk to the shops and restaurants, and a 4 minute walk to the beach.

We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Sarita. The location was convenient - close to amenities but tucked away enough to be quiet. The home was very clean and well-maintained, with excellent communication between renters and owners. I would happily recommend this unit!

My husband, myself and our 8 month old daughter stayed here for 3 1/2 weeks and had the most amazing time. The house is perfect with two good sized bedrooms with a/c and has everything you could possibly need including blender, DVD player, bbq, washer dryer and even a cleaning woman who came twice a week and was lovely. Maria and Jorge are so kind and helpful. They were available if we had any questions or concerns and addressed any issues right away such as the a/c dripping - Maria had a guy in there within a couple hours to fix it. The centre of town is only a few blocks away, but we didn't hear any noise from the house as its up a hill a bit so it was nice to have peace and quiet but still be close to the action. We also felt super safe there as most windows have bars and we never had any issues with security. We would totally recommend this place!!!
