This three-level, Mediterranean-style home is located on the north end of downtown Oceanside, just two blocks from the beach. Take morning runs along The Strand a quarter-mile west, spend your days strolling on Oceanside Pier or through the California Surf Museum half a mile south, and end the evening with a delicious Double-Double at In-N-Out Burger a quarter-mile north.
The living space is full of thoughtful updates, from the granite and cherry wood in the kitchen to the Spanish tile and plush carpeting throughout. Come home from a sun-splashed day on the sand to unwind in the central AC, take a long soak in the jetted tub, and curl up on the sectional sofa with a book, a board game, or a cocktail from the wet bar.

Very close toPappys so we could stop and get soda and ice for our all day at the beach. Walking distance to so many places and a Starbucks around the corner. Plenty of bathrooms. Quiet little neighborhood.

Being a bigger family of 8 this house suited us perfectly.
House provides shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. They also provide
Beach towels, beach toys and beach chairs which is a plus to those who don’t have any.
The beach was only 2 blocks away.
Starbucks coffee around the corner.

Overall we had a great stay! Had an issue with the hot water the first day as the water never got past room temperature. After some misinformation from the "chat" we were able to get ahold of customer service and get the local caretaker who was able to come over and reset the tank. That seemed to take care of the issue.
Juts one thing stood out and that was the person on the other side of the chat stated that "Hot water was not an amenity" at this property. Pretty sure it was just a misunderstanding but the owner may want to address what's considered basic needs vs. what is considered an amenty.
We would stay there again!

Our overall experience was terrible. We were not given a garage door opener and the main door wouldn't lock using the Schlage button. It was a challenge to lock the home and exit. Customer Service did not help much besides the usual "We are extremely sorry about this..." messages. Some of the ceiling fan pull strings were either missing or short in length. Furniture/cupboards were dusty. 3rd-floor toilet was not flushing well. The Master bathroom sink was not draining properly. Overall we were extremely disappointed with the stay. VRBO will not be my first choice moving forward.

The house also had chairs and all things we needed to spend an afternoon on the beach. The house itself was clean and just as described. Great common areas and also plenty of room to spread out.

There was zero communication from the host. We could not get the balcony door open from our bedroom. I would have loved to have sat out there in the morning but it seemed to be stuck or locked somehow. I messaged the host and never got a response. Other than that it was a nice place to stay, conveniently located to the beach and a street market and restaurants.

The kitchen could use some updates as far as necessities. There’s no pot holders/oven mits, nor hands towels and some silverware had obviously seen the garbage disposal. The house has newer carpet which is nice expect for the 3rd story where it has quite a few stains. However none of this was a deal breaker for us! It’s a beautiful home with plenty of space and a great location! This was actually our second time renting this home.
P.S our family bought a 10X10 canopy for the beach, but didn’t have enough room to bring it home so we left it at the house. Hopefully future renters enjoy it!

It was fun the beach is close there’s a liquor store a min walk but the carpets were dirty and had stains and the 3rd floor bathroom was clogged but nothing major and there are boogie boards and like beach supplies for the kids but I loved it! Would totally recommend

Stay was fantastic! Just a few items that are in need of repair:
Sliding Door Screen on 3rd floor - difficult to open and actually fell off the track.
Ice Maker - completely frozen inside so had to take out ice tray to get ice and could not use automatic dispenser.
Blinds in Room with Queen/Full Bed would not close (go down to cover entire window)
No linens/sheets were in the ottomon for sofa beds and none were found anywhere else in the entire house.
