Ecocrackenback is conveniently located within Crackenback Valley, nestled amongst the local flora and fauna, these self-contained chalets are the ideal base for you to make the most out of your Snowy Mountains adventure.
These nature based eco sustainable buildings include cross ventilated living spaces, raked ceilings with fans and offer abundant natural light. All chalets enjoy polished concrete heated floors and clean-heat ethanol fireplaces for those snowy winter nights.
Enjoy the rural setting through the large floor to ceiling windows and back deck while taking advantage of the weber BBQ and outdoor dining setting in the summer months.
Only 10 minutes drive from Jindabyne, 20 minutes to Thredbo and 10 minutes to the Ski Tube (winter only) which takes you to Perisher, and then onto Charlotte's Pass via Oversnow transport. The Resorts offer plenty of options for a fun day on the Snow A heated drying rack in the entry way provides a convenient way to dry your ski gear after a long day on the slopes.
Each self-contained chalet is a perfect fit for families of 4 or 2 couples with the bedding configuration of 2 king beds. There are 18 chalets on offer at Ecocrackenback so please check multiple chalets for your chosen dates.
Ecocrackenback chalets offer instantaneous gas hot water, wifi, communal laundry and are fully appointed with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Smeg convection microwave/grill, double hotplates, weber BBQ & Smart TV.
Sustainability practices include: Worm Farm System for grey water management and food waste, rainwater collection, recycling bins provided, taps and showers are water-efficient, walls and ceilings insulated, double glazed windows, solar panels, green spaces on property.

Lovely stay in a quiet area
We had a lovely stay at Eco Crackenback. Accomodations were clean, well kept and nice to stay in. Underfloor heating and central heating were lovely after a long day skiing.

Snow trip
My son and I loved this place it was very close to Thredbo and a half drive to Perisher, only thing no wifi but that was ok with us,
kitchen had excellent items for cooking, comfortable beds plenty of room, the floor heating was fabulous.

Great stay for the Crackenback Triathlon
Needed a place to sleep for 2 nights with my mates who were doing the tri - this was great!

Great location near the ski tube.
Other than an unavoidable power outage due to heavy snow, the property manager was very helpful.

Beautiful bush setting
Ecocrackenback was a perfect getaway spot for two couples - peaceful, clean, great beds and in a beautiful setting. The people there were very friendly and offered us complete privacy.
I recommend this location to all.

Great Weekend Escape
This was the perfect place for our snow weekend getaway!

Excellent
We stayed as a family for three nights and it was perfect, spacious and well equipped. Beautiful location amongst the trees but still close to town and the ski tube. Onsite managers make everything easy and well explained to make our stay very enjoyable. We will be back again.

Very comfortable
Just leaving today after a short get away with a couple and a friend. Very spacious including bathroom, well set up, beds and lounge are amazingly comfortable. Will definitely choose this one again - well done
