"Alii is the Hawaiian word for Royalty' , and our condo is this and much more, it is Luxury at its Best. Welcome to the Kaanapali Alii Resort! When we say DIRECT OCEANFRONT, we mean it... This unit was completely redesigned and remodeled in December 2011. OUR CONDO HAS A MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS PER PARTY AT 6 (SIX) includes infants, children.
Top of the Line PREMIER DIRECT OCEANFRONT 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo stands alone in its class. The condo is located in building Three, Oceanfront building, and on the front ocean side, as well as the South End of the 5th floor. Our condo is OWNER OPERATED AND MANAGED. The condo unit is not in the rental program with Hawaii Destinations/ Classic Resorts. You can book our condo unit #356 here directly through our site. This luxury “Premier” Two Bedroom / 2 bath Direct Oceanfront condo offers breathtaking PANORAMIC OCEAN sunsets and unobstructed views of the blue Pacific with expansive views of Lanai and Molokai. We have installed new Lanai doors that retract back to let the outside in! Our PRIVATELY RENTED premier condo will sleep up to a party of six comfortably and offers 1,900 square feet of pure direct oceanfront luxury . “Premier” assures you that this is the best! Our direct Oceanfront luxury condo included upgraded designer furniture, stone countertops, travertine flooring, a beautifully appointed kitchen with Pod Keurig Coffee Machine and a handlful of pods for your check in day. CANCELATION POLICY FOR ALL OF OUR RENTAL CONDOS:
Your total rental charges are fully refundable (less $100 bookkeeping fee) if you cancel your reservation on or 60 days before the date of your arrival.
If you cancel after that date, only the rental charges are nonrefundable and forfeited in full, unless we are able to re-book the unit for the same dates, time and conditions as your reservation. To recoup the costs of nonrefundable travel expenses, we encourage you to purchase Trip Cancelation Insurance.

I'd consider staying in this property again in the near future. We had a great time during our one week vacation to Maui. The resort team members were very friendly and greeted us often.

I think the seating on patio needs to be freshened up. Also, I have rented previous condos in area and had beach chairs and snorkel gear in unit for everyone included which would be the little extra in this property that would put it over the top.

This condo is second to known. Absolutely beautiful view and well appointed. The location in the complex is great - low noise, etc and the location of the complex itself was central to the Kaanapali Beach area. The entire team from booking, concierge, etc was very responsive and easy to work with.

We had a wonderful stay, we loved our condo and sad to leave. It had everything we could’ve wanted including laundry in the condo. We would definitely return. We received a call right after booking from the manager, who gave us helpful information about Maui after covid.

We had stayed at the Westin for many years before trying the Kaanapali Ali'i, and we have not looked back! We love the laid back atmosphere of the resort, and the pool policy of an 8:00am opening... no getting up early to 'reserve' chaise lounges. We love the ease of waking up to coffee on our own lanai (vs. standing in line at Starbucks) and enjoying breakfast & lunch in the condo. Although we eat most dinners out, we always plan at least one evening to take advantage of the poolside grills and 'Master Griller' who is available to help cook any or all parts of your meal. I have mainly worked w/ Bonnie, who I have always found very responsive to any questions or issues.

Unbeatable views from every room! Staff was friendly, manager Bonnie responded promptly to questions and issues . The pools and beaches are great ! Love how close it is to whalers village and all the restaurants. Very spacious for 5 adults . Will definitely book this again . The views are just amazing

We have stayed multiple times at the Kaanapali Alli and found this property to be top notch. From the cleanliness and updates- most kaanapali alli rooms are not as updated as this one, to the breathtaking balcony views that made it so we actually wanted to be in the room. We will be returning. The owner Bonnie was extremely responsive as well. We had a minor issue with the safe (user error) and Bonnie was over quickly to resolve.

Unmatched views! Great location for swimming, snorkeling, whale watching, cliff jumping, surfing, boogie boarding, restaurants, bars, shopping, golfing………all walkable!

The tvs are a bit complicated to use. We followed the instructions for the living room tv but it didn't always work as written. Bonnie is one of the nicest and easiest people I have dealt with in all manners. The booking was very straight forward and upon arrival, there were detailed instructions for the unit.

This condo is amazing. The location is a 10+. Watching the sunset from the balcony was amazing each evening. The condo was tastefully decorated. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook and eat in.
The location is perfect for walking to whalers Village for dinner.
We didn’t use the pool but it never looked to crowded to find a good spot to soak up the sun. We are beach people and being just steps from the beach was perfect for us. The staff as always was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!

This is our 5th time staying at the Kaanapali Ali’i in #356, and we still do not see any reason to consider anyplace else! This particular unit definitely provides an elevated condo experience… it is beautifully decorated yet comfortable, well maintained, and fully appointed for your stay. You will not want for anything. And did I mention THE VIEW?! We enjoyed lunch & happy hours on the lanai and had great fun spotting dolphins and turtles in the clear waters below. The property manager, Bonnie, is also easily accessible and very responsive to any questions or needs. After many years at surrounding resort properties, we also greatly enjoy the laid back nature of the Kaanapali Ali’i. The property is ideally located along the Kaanapali stretch and is also an easy drive into Lahaina and the Kapalua area for some amazing dining. Beautifully decorated condo that was very thoughtfully appointed with everything to make it an easy stay. The location, a 5 min walk from Starbucks and a 10 min walk from Whalers Village shopping and eating made it perfect for my family of teens. We could all do what we wanted throughout the day. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent a week at the end of July 2022. The pictures do not do this condo justice. It’s better then the photos. It is extremely clean, well updated, and in great condition. The location is absolutely great. The beach is nice, you can walk to Whalers Village, and it’s a short drive to Lahaina. The pool area of the resort is great. Our kids enjoyed the waterfalls and jumping in the pool. We also enjoyed relaxing in the quiet pool away from the splashing. My only complaint is that we couldn’t stay two weeks. We’d book this unit again in a heartbeat. Mahalo, Bonnie.

If were ever able to return to Maui, I would definitely book Oceanview with the Kannapali Resort From the front desk, to the baggage handlers, to the staff on the beach all were polite and very welcoming

Thanks for the tip on the internet speed. We had to call the ISP who reset the modem/router then all worked o.k. You see my comments above as how great we thought the stay was. I leave the following just as an FYI, things I'd like to know if it were my property.
* the mirrors in the bathroom were a little streaked (maybe a short maid )
* the sensor on the main patio door that controls the AC fell off so I taped it on for a temporary fix.
* the patio door off the dining room was locked closed and we could not get the latch to open up.
* the condo front desk may need to improve their key-making machine as we had keys not working regularly throughout our stay.

We had a fabulous trip in every way. Gorgeous views of whales and sunsets. We own a week at the Marriott next door but the kids are asking to stay in room 356 for our next trip! Mahalo! Bonnie was easy to work with and I highly recommend this company. Professional and top notch rooms. Bonnie booked a cleaning team to come in mid week and replace linens.

We loved the property and hope to stay here again next year. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating and the beach is incredible! I had a great experience working with Bonnie! She was quick to reply and very nice and helpful.
