This cozy getaway is bright & airy, equipped with full kitchen & bath, open floor plan, hardwood floors & a comfy queen bed (+ fold down sofa) on a second floor above our private detached garage. You will have a paved parking area. Walk to Lake Ann Village, a quick drive to Traverse City, Leelanau CO, National Lake Shore, Interlochen Center for the Arts & Crystal MT Resort. Lake Ann is centrally located to many attractions, lakes & natural preserved areas. Your host is on premise in a private residence. The studio apt above the garage was exactly what we needed. It was well equipped, cute, and very comfortable with everything we could possibly need for our weeklong stay. Barb is incredibly kind and has the sweetest dog named Dash who liked to greet us every day when we returned. Barb's gardens are gorgeous and the location of her place was perfect for easily accessing everywhere we wanted to go. Highly recommend!

Barb’s place is even better than it looks in oics. Very beautiful gardems of bright flowers greet you. The space is very generous in size. Location is right in heart of Lake Ann, so couldn’t be easier to walk to pizza or a true general store. It is easy to get to Sleeping Bear, Leelanau and Traverse City Barb had the winner of scret beaches. Great value.

Apartment was very cute and in a great area. Very low key and relaxing and within walking distance of everything you need. We unfortunately did not get to meet Barb but she was available via text. Gardens are beautiful!!!

Our stay was wonderful! The owner was very welcoming and shared the information that only “locals” know about the area. This was a great help planning our adventures. The only thing that wasn’t perfect was the weak and intermittent Wi-Fi. Wasn’t able to get any work done which may have been a blessing in disguise - more time to play! I would highly recommend a stay at the Lake Ann Loft.

We stayed three nights at The Loft at Lake Ann and it was the perfect spot for the two of us. The kitchen was fully equipped, the bed was comfy and the water in the shower was hot!! Our host was very easy to communicate with if we needed anything, and she provided it very quickly. We would absolutely recommend this spot if you're visiting the area!!

This rental is quaint and surrounded by nature. The kitchen is fully equipped which we loved. Also loved walking up to the local grocery, using the firepit for smores and cozy adirondacks for early-morning reading. Bed and pillows are heaven! Thank you, Barb!

We enjoyed a week-long stay at Barb's beautiful loft in Lake Ann. The suite had everything we needed, was decorated with lots of care, paintings and quality furnishings. Her gardens were lovely and the location was in the middle of everything we wanted to see and do in the NW Michigan area (south of the UP).
Barb, was quick to respond to any questions from local places to visit and restaurants to enjoy. The check-in/check-out was bar far the easiest we've experienced and she is a most gracious host.
Next time we're in the area, we're definitely to hoping to stay at this beautiful Lake Ann Loft. 5 Stars++

Barb’s Loft is a lovely place for a getaway. Clean and well equipped. Short drive to many beautiful locations. This was a return visit for us and we certainly will return! Barb is a wonderful host!

My husband and I stayed in the loft above the garage and were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations. It was stocked with everything we could have wanted and the kitchen was well equipped. A short walk to the brewery and pizza restaurant in the cute town of Lake Ann and a short drive to Interlochen. The grounds of the house were lush and gorgeous and we were able to walk around it. We would definitely stay there if we visit again. The bed was a little hard to get into as it was nestled in between two walls so you had to get on to it from the foot of the bed. My husband and I had no problem but if you have movement issues you might find it hard to get into bed. Overall, this is a very nice place to stay.

The grounds are beautiful. Surrounded by flowers and woods. The decor in the loft is so inviting. Makes you want to curl up with a good book. I slept like a baby in the comfy bed. This accommodation is so charming, quiet and comfortable. I would stay here again without a doubt.

Perfect place to visit with family in Lake Ann. Great host, Comfy bed, fully stocked kitchen, refrigerator stocked with drinks. Nice neighborhood in the countryside, near the Lake and walk to village grocery. Short distance to hiking trails: LakeAnnPathway, Bellows & Ranson lake trails. Needs TV instructions. Highly recommended

I stayed here while attending a choir camp at Interlochen which is an easy 10 to 15 minute drive from the loft.
I was very comfortable here. Pretty much everything I could need was provided.
Beautiful gardens to look at, cute dogs to pet. I would happily stay here again.

I would highly recommend this property in Lake Ann! Barb takes immaculate care of every detail and it’s very generously supplied with amenities. The location is so great for the Traverse City and surrounding areas. We would definitely stay here again!

Barb was very accommodating to a need for a large salad bowl for a party we were attending and had many quality coffee, tea and water options. Well stocked kitchen included butter and olive oil too. Unique, attractive furnishings and original art decor.

Very Clean and Conveniently Located
We very much enjoyed our stay. I especially appreciated the very comfortable bed and pillows. Sheets and bedding were very clean. Barb was a gracious host and had the property ready for us upon arrival with the added touch’s of fresh flowers and a variety of drinks in the refrigerator. The small village of Lake Ann was quaint, quiet— Coffee shop and bar within walking distance. Away from the busy tourist areas but still close enough to enjoy all the fun in traverse city, Interlochen, and Lake Michigan. We would stay here again.

Wonderful Stay!
My son was at Interlochen Arts Academy and I needed a place to stay for several nights. This was an easy 15-minute drive from Interlochen in the charming small town of Lake Ann, and the accommodations were really wonderful. There was nothing Robin had not thought of in appointing this beautiful space, and the gardens are gorgeous.. I highly recommend staying here!

Nice little loft
Very nice little loft. Very clean and well put together. Suited my wife and teenage son and I very well. Barb was an excellent host and we will definitely stay again if we are back in the area.

Two Day Get Away
The loft was perfect for the two of us. The bed was very comfortable and the fold down sofa was fine, would be great for kids. Everything that we needed was available in the loft. The kitchen was fully stocked with pans and utensils. Then coming down to the patio and garden was a treat for morning coffee or happy hour wine.

Owner was nothing but amazing!! We had a last minute mix up with another location and I definitely believe everything happens for a reason because we ended up at the perfect place! Home is located close to town and beach access. The loft was beautifully maintained and super clean! Definitely top on our list when we return to the Traverse City area!

Clean and comfortable
My teenaged son and I stayed here, and we had everything we could have asked for. It was a lovely loft apartment with a view of the beautiful gardens of the main house. My son slept fine on the sleeper couch, and we enjoyed making sweet corn and listening to the live music from the restaurant across the road. Very convenient location. Barb was friendly and helpful with ideas for where to hike.

We loved the Lake Ann Loft so much and are planning our return already! You are a 3 minute walk from the little town and public access lake area. The loft had everything you would need and beyond. Very clean.
