The town just South of us, Sanford, has a Riverboat Cruise that is a great way of touring the river. And of course, Orlando’s world class attractions are just an hour away, including Disney World, Epcot, Sea World, famous International Drive and Universal Studios with its newest Harry Potter themed attractions. Day trips might include U.S. Air Force Space & Missile Museum in Cape Canaveral, the world class Outlet shopping area in Saint Augustine- the oldest settlement in America, or a trip to Busch Gardens in Tampa. Gainesville, home to the University of Florida is two hours north and Florida’s gulf coast to the West is about 3 hours. Tarpon Springs on the Gulf coast is another easy day trip.
