Great location. Easy to get anywhere. Nice view. Loved it.

Place is a little dated but has great access to amenities in Salt Hill

This property is located centrally to many activities and near downtown Galway.
The condo had great amenities including a washer and dryer which was handy.

Our family of four (14- and 19-year-old children) spent 8 nights in this lovely apartment in June-July 2014 and we would be happy to return. It is a spacious apartment with a spectacular view of Galway Bay. A well maintained clean quiet older apartment with comfortable beds. Checking in and out was no problem.
A few more plates and cutlery would have been appreciated for our breakfast needs considering a dishwasher was available. Both that and the washing machine with dryer came in very handy.
Beware so you do not hit your head on the shelves above the electrical outlets in the bedrooms, I can assure it hurts...

We really enjoyed this place. Light, bright, Space, with a big patio and fantastic views over Galway bay. Very comfortable!

Great space, great location, great host.

We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment, it was clean, comfortable and with a great location and view! The host was very kind and welcoming, however, it was a bit hard to get ahold of him before we arrived (failure to pick up the phone number provided, had to try several times), other than that, perfect!

We spent three nights here and really enjoyed our time. The apartment was clean and checking in and out was a breeze. The location is walkable to a lot of restaurants and is just a short walk to the Latin Quarter. There is also a small Tesco just up the street. But the killer feature of this place is the amazing view out across Galway Bay. Pictures don’t do it justice, it is spectacular. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful view of the ocean from the kitchen and deck. Spacious apartment with everything we needed. Two good sized rooms with comfortable beds and a bathroom for each bedroom. A short walk to town (25mins) through scenic areas. Coffee/breakfast shop right next door was really handy. Sean and his son were really helpful and available to answer any questions. Laundry is very different - not like at home. I couldn't get it to work properly so waited 2hrs for a small load to wash and it never did spin properly or dry so I ended up hanging it in the apartment using the rack provided. It worked out okay - just wasn't what I was expecting. We'd stay there again.

Our first time in Galway, so we appreciated this location. A 15 minute walk to the Latin Quarter, plus the opportunity to walk along the shore every day. It was even nice to watch the wind and rain when in the unit!

It is in perfect location. A 20 minute walk to Galway center, but gives you the quiet and calmness provided by view of beach. Also have convenience of restaurants/shops in Salt Hill. There is plenty of room in the apartments - we spent a month and never felt cramped. Very clean. Not luxurious but gives you everything you need. Owner very responsive if needed.

The apartment was clean and spacious. The view is amazing and it’s very close to everything but quiet. Really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend this rental.

Beautiful view, comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and close to restaurants. The walking path was so lovely nearby, and Morton’s grocery had incredible bread and pastries. Our only disappointment lay with the spare cooking tools. It was great to have a washer and dryer. We would come back again.

Great communication and very friendly hosts. Fourth floor apartment has amazing view and a great balcony (as seen in the photo). Good location right on the end of the salthill area, so its
quick walk to salthill restaurants and shops as well as to Galway City shopping. Apartment is very clean and tidy. Water heater is a bit interactive, but once you get the hang if it all works well for a morning shower or two. Really enjoyed our stay😀

Absolutely loved this apartment in salthill. Our apartment had a massive balcony overlooking the water…pure bliss having a coffee every morning & evening with such a view. The apartment more than suited our needs with 2 bedrooms both with their own bathrooms and spacious living area, which was very clean. Perfect location in salthill area, few mins walk to local bars, shops, restaurants. Very friendly hosts and looking forward to returning again next year

Sean is a great host. Very responsive and helpful.

The location is perfect. Great bars and bakery a block away. Just a 20 minute walk into Galway city core. The furnishings however are very poor. Reminded me of being 20 and staying in dorms. Everyone in my group is over 40 and are acustomed to nice beds. These were untollerable. The couches were just as bad. We like having a comfortable place to explore from and this was not comfortable. Would not stay again on that account.

Apartment in great location, close enough to salt hill to access bars and restaurants but not too close to be noisy amazing view, great to have 2 en-suite bedrooms, would be great for 2 couples .

We had an amazing apartment looking out on to Galway bay, very spacious and clean and easy walking distance to the beach shops and bars.
The hosts were great we didn’t really need them but knew we’re they were if we did.

Travel is a bit challenging at the moment (Summer 2022) and we were delayed by ~7 hours and arrived after 1AM. We were greeted kindly by Sean, the apartment manager, and shown to our room and helped to make sure we understood how everything worked as we are from the US and the systems are different. We also had no luggage... and didn't for 4 days. We were there for a conference and when the driver called to say he was at the apartment with the bags (our first contact with the airlines in those days), we were away at a conference dinner. We called Sean and he met the driver and took the bags into the room. You may think, well, this is typical. However, we have stayed at many, many apartments over the years and have not had this type of rapid help on as many fronts as we did in this challenging week without our belongings. Thankfully, the apartment was clean and comfortable and the views were incredible. There was also a washer/dryer unit that came in extremely handy as we had to wash clothes daily because... we had no luggage. :-/ So, we were able to drink tea and coffee (which were provided on day one with milk!), take a breath and watch the tide roll in and out. The grocery store and bus stop was literally a 3 minute walk and we often just walked into town (15-20 minutes) if the weather held. Highly, highly recommend staying here if in Galway for business, pleasure, or both.

From initial query until final key turnover, Sean was wonderful, responsive and caring. Pictures can’t capture the amazing view of Galway Bay. Location in Salthill perfect for both peace and quiet and short walk to town. Kitchen especially convenient for family/kids. A true gem!

Excellent quiet location just outside Galway but walking distance or short ride to city. Perfect for getting to Aran Islands or Cliffs of Moher. Owner was delightful.

The apartment is quite large! Very comfortable for our family if 4 adults! View of the sea is spectacular and the balcony is lovely. Just a 10 minute walk to Downtown Galway!

Nice well appointed apartment overlooking Galway Bay. Location in Salthill is convenient to restaurants and shopping and only a 20 minute walk to Galway.

Our stay at Arus Grattan was exactly what we wanted. The location was ideal and secure - we had a superb view over Galway Bay but were back from the main road on the seafront. We enjoyed the walks along the front and into Galway city. There were restaurants and coffee shops on our doorstep. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and Sean, our host, welcomed us warmly, giving us useful local. information. We would certainly recommend it.

A nice apartment with views that the pictures don’t do justice to. Galway is just a short walk up the road and the owner is friendly and accommodating.

We are just back from a lovely weeks holiday in Salthill. We rented two apartments for our family (6 adults and 2 kids under 2 years old). The accomodation was clean, the front apartment had loads of space, and the most amazing view of the bay and they were in a great location! Kitchen was well equiped for the nights spent in and cooking. Showers were lovely and never short hot water. Any dealings with the owner/property manager was prompt and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will be back 👍👍
