About this house rental

The best location in the City! I tried to buy a house in the Battery for years and finally found this waterfront, 5 year old amazing Outer Battery home! 2 beds (and den used as additional child's room) and 2 baths over 1700 square feet and amazing location...Open plan up and views from all rooms. Two great decks.
Feb 2016, Conde Nast Traveler called the Outer Battery Village one of " Most Beautiful Places in Canada...". They went on to say "...Sunny yellow, cherry red, turquoise blue—St. Johns’ pop-art-colored houses, collectively known as Jellybean Row, look especially awe-inspiring clustered in the cliffs of this atmosphere-drenched coastal neighborhood just outside downtown..."
We are literally steps to the trail to walk up to Signal Hill National Park and have other walking trails along with close access to the Grand Concourse urban trail system. 5 minutes from downtown by car and 10 minutes by foot. It has a deck with panoramic views of the harbour and out to see.

This is the best location in the city and a great base from which to enjoy this amazing province!

Our stay at Patricia's Luxury Waterfront Home at the bottom of Signal Hill more than exceeded our expectations! The two decks were the most amazing place to sit and relax in the morning / evening with full panoramic views of the harbour & inlet which can also be seen and enjoyed from the bright & clean upstairs kitchen & family room. The kitchen is well stocked with coffee & tea plus all the pots and pans you might need for cooking. The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable with waterfront views. (Our kids, ages 9 & 10, found the 3rd bedroom/den a little claustrophobic and opted to share the 2nd bedroom.) As others remarked, the street access to the house and driveway are VERY narrow - I wouldn't suggest arriving in the dark as it could be a real challenge. The location is perfect if you also enjoy hiking up Signal Hill to take in the breathtaking views along the coast. Thank you Patricia for being such a gracious host - we hope to come back again!

This property has beautiful on the water views and is great for hiking. The accommodation has everything you would need for a very comfortable place to stay.

When we entered the property we were thrilled with the cosy clean feel of the home. We stayed 8 nights and enjoyed it thoroughly. Water views from every angle. The home is very well equipped and the pics do not do this place justice. Its paradise. Only bit of stress was getting the car in and out of the area for a small stretch that is only one lane. Parking was no issue. Highly recommend this property.

We had a terrific stay at this cottage. It was well-equipped and was located in a wonderful location. It was hot during at stay in St John’s but the ocean breezes cooled us while we sat on the deck. Highly recommended!

Unfortunately we didn't make it to your property. Our flight from Waterloo International airport was about to land in st.johns when he decided it was too foggy and flew us back to Waterloo. 12 hours on a plane to end up right back where we started. We lost our transportation also, no cars to be found on the island to rent. I reached out to VRBO try and cancel our stay but I have not received a response Some sort of refund would be nice as we never even entered said property. Yours truly, Christine

we really enjoyed staying here. just sitting out on the deck and watching the Harbour was great. walk to town didnt take long. the place was very clean and had everything you would need.we felt we couldn't have picked a better place to enjoy our time in st.johns.

This property is fantastic. The view of the harbour and many cruise and other ships is amazing! All four of us loved everything about this place and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to St. John’s!
