We needed a long term rental while doing a gut renovation of our nearby home. This filled the bill. The apartment is cozy, a little on the dark side, has a lovely private outdoor patio area, good kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms. Great location for walking to the Pearl Street Mall, nice walk to Chautaqua Park or the beautiful university campus.

The kitchen was well stocked, enabling us to cook our own meals and ‘live’ comfortably for our month-long stay in Boulder. Proximity to Pearl Street was perfect for when we’d had enough of cooking! Thanks Rusty.

The downtown location of this spacious, attractive and comfortable apartment is excellent. It is less than a block's walk to Pearl Street in Boulder's historic west end neighborhood and close to some beautiful trails. The photos included in the listing are accurate.
Based on the many previous reviews I was surprised and disappointed that I hadn't heard at all from the host Rusty once I checked in. Before my arrival he attempted two times to have the eKey emailed to me. Luckily when my family instructed me to get the correct app, I easily succeeded in obtaining the eKey. Entering the apartment was then fine but finding the apartment was another challenge. It would have been helpful to have received directions to its unique location!
The apartment was overall clean, but some details, like the laundry room and oven, needed more attention by the cleaning crew.
This apartment is reasonably priced and above average in the features it offers, such as 4 person seating in the dining room, generous counter space in the kitchen, a large TV in the living room, and 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms. October is a good time to be in Boulder and staying here was good, too.

Excellent Stay in the Heart of Boulder
The spacious and clean two-bedroom unit is as-described, with a well appointed kitchen and everything needed for a long-term stay. Great location in quiet neighborhood near Pearl Street restaurants and shopping. Owner is very responsive should anything be needed during your stay.

Great getaway in a perfect location.
We stayed here for a month and totally enjoyed our stay. The home was as described. Clean with everything needed to be comfortable. A very adequately stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, and very comfortable bed. Loved having a laundry room as well. The location was just a very short walk to Pearl St and all the shops and restaurants. Rusty had left some recommendations which we found to be spot on. What more can I say…a perfect location and the weather was absolutely beautiful! If you are looking for a quiet place to stay but close to everything we would highly recommend a stay here… you won’t be disappointed.

Cute rental in amazing location
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay in Boulder. The rental was close to everything, so convenient that I didn't need to rent a car. I hiked every day on nearly trails and walked down to the Pearl Street Mall, which was just a couple of blocks away, more than once a day. There are many great restaurants nearby. The place itself was supplied with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. There is a little park right behind which I went to nearly every day. I had a clogged drain when I arrived and Rusty had it fixed the same day. Couldn't ask for a better place.

Great location, close to Pearl St Mall and hiking trails
Nice kitchen with adequate equipment. Master bedroom was reasonably comfortable. Grill useful on patio. We are relatively tall and found dining chairs were made for those with shorter thighs, but location was terrific.

Amazing location to hiking and Pearl Street!
Perfect location near sanitas trailhead (walkable!) and Pearl Street. Stayed for a month and loved the location, apartment, and amenities. Kitchen everything you need for a long stay. Russ was super helpful and communicated quickly and transparently. Highly recommend!

Wish we could have stayed longer
My husband and I rented for a month. We were visiting our kids and grandsons, but because of Covid, did not want to stay with them. This was a wonderful alternative. The condo was very clean and comfortable. Location just off Pearl st was walking distance to numerous outdoor restaurants and shopping.
Best of all, Rusty, the owner was very attentive to our needs. He responded immediately when we realized there was no blender. A new one arrived before we knew it!
He also provided a free cleaning service in the middle of our stay.
My only regret was I wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic Temporary Home
The location to downtown (Pearl Street) is excellent. The home itself is well-kept, and the landlord is responsive to communications. My parents thoroughly enjoyed their two months visiting Boulder, and this temporary home was a primary reason. Thanks Rusty!

Experiencing Boulder for the month
My daughter and I spent the month of September in Boulder and Rusty’s home was a wonderful fit for us. The kitchen is updated, the bedrooms are large and the little patio area was so nice to have. The home was clean and the location is perfect. We were able to share a vehicle since we could walk to just about everything. Rusty was quick to respond to any of our questions or needs. My only criticism is I wish the bedrooms had better lighting. I would definitely recommend this home and I would try to book there again if I revisit Boulder.

What a long-term vacation rental should be
We stayed in this property for 5 weeks during a move to Boulder. First, it covers the basics of what a rental should cover -- it was clean and as advertised. But, it's what was above and beyond by Rusty and his team that impressed me the most.
The apartment was outfitted in such a thoughtful way, it was truly beyond my expectation. Everything was thought of, and our needs were aptly met. I was worried that many things we'd need over the course of a 5 week stay wouldn't be there -- but they were. I've stayed in dozens of AirBnB/HomeAways and this was without a doubt the most professionally managed place I've stayed.
Other things: the place itself is great. It is nice, updated, and quiet. It is very close to hiking/trails and downtown Boulder. It's also easy to get around to all parts of Boulder... campus, shopping, etc. Really great unit and location.
Finally, I just want to say what a great host Rusty was. He took great care of us and I would recommend staying in one of his properties. He will take good care of you too.
Overall, can't recommend this place enough. Thanks Rusty!

Great house/perfect location
Rusty's house near 6th and Walnut was just close enough to the action to be convenient but far enough off the street to be quiet. We had over 5 weeks here, with company in and out, and found it to be well-maintained, clean, and exactly as described. Rusty was prompt to answer questions and quickly ordered a new lint filter for the dryer when I told him the old one was shredded; it arrived in a few days. He was also quick to offer advice about traffic (should I wait until after rush hour to head south on I-25? yes!) and local real estate. We are not strangers to the area, with relatives in Superior, so we did not need many referrals for food or hiking, but even with (or without) small grandchildren, we enjoyed the Med, the Creek Path, Eben G. Fine Park, Two Spoons (for ice cream) Spruce Confections, Leaf, Chautauqua park and dining hall--and for the 3- and 5-year-old, the wonderful tree stump at the corner of 7th Street and Pearl!

Lovely stay in Boulder
The pictures, description, and prior reviews were very accurate. Quiet location, just a block off Pearl and two blocks to the Boulder Creek Path. The location could not have been better. The unit is well equipped and comfortable. We had a terrific stay, Rusty was very accommodating, and would not hesitate to stay here again.

Perfect Boulder Location
Downtown hideaway was the perfect location for our family ladies weekend to visit my daughter at CU. Walking distance to everything and a short drive to amazing hiking locations. The house is immaculate and had everything we needed for a great stay. Kitchen is well equipped and outdoor seating area was great for a cup of coffee in the morning or wine by the fire pit in the evening. Thanks for a great weekend!

Loved it!
My husband and I spent two weeks in this house and found it charming, comfortable, very conveniently located. It was great to park our car right in front of the house. The only criticism we have is that we found the lighting insufficient in the living room and the bedrooms.

Great stay off Pearl
As promised, clean and easy walk to downtown. Was very quiet given the close proximity to Pearl over holiday weekend!

Downtown Hideaway
This home was perfect for us. It was as advertised and close to Pearl Street. We were able to walk downtown and enjoy all the restaurants and shops. It was also a walk away from hiking and bike paths. We would definitely recommend this home and the owner was a phone call away if we needed anything. We are planning on returning to this great location.

Unbeleivable
The pictures tell it all, It was exactly as shown. Great place for two couples who are traveling together. Very quite neighborhood, no college scene. Best part, being able to walk to the new "West End" of Pearl street. Check out "Riffs" on Pearl, great food, great price.
