Great wee pub & restaurant. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. Food and service was 1st class, my wife is a cook and is not easily impressed but we would have no hesitation about returning again.

Clean and comfortable. Stylish modern room. Lovely cooked breakfast. Good value for money.
Just my personal opinion but thought a bigger bed, which there was room for, would have made our stay a little more comfortable.

The pub itself was great and staff very friendly and attentive, and the food absolutely exceptional. The room itself was lovely, spotlessly clean and included all necessary amenities. The amazing deep bath was a lovely surprise - we likened it to a spa. £7pp extra for an exceptional breakfast.
It was perfect for us.

The room was huge and really silent, with new furniture and a wonderful bathroom. A lot of attention for the details. The breakfast was good and the pub really cozy. Staff was very welcoming.

Lovely comfy bed, great shower , eat in the pub 2 evenings, the homemade steak pie was wonderful, very reasonable priced food . Cooked breakfast was lovely.
Could offer more choice on cereals, ie bran flakes or muesli , maybe some yogurts and fruit.

it’s absolutely GLORIOUS, really well appointed.
The photographs don’t do it justice.
amazing, the rooms are so lovely, the room we stayed in had heated flooring in the bathroom, a Japanese deep bath and then separate shower. The rooms are separate to the pub, so, if want a n early night, you’re alright! the pub itself is a little gem in the heart or rural Lancashire. it’s absolutely gorgeous and the food was amazing too and very well priced. the pub caters for Gluten free, and has a GF beer on tap, they also cater for vegan and vegetarian!! an absolute MUST! we will be back!!
nothing it was fantastic

Lovely and homely, very peaceful and relaxing.
The complimentary things in the fridge were a nice touch (yoghurts, cereal bars, orange juice, water and fresh milk).
Staff were lovely and friendly and the pub was very cosy.

Lovely location, nice old style place but with modern touches. Refurbed to a high standard. Big room space in the King room. Really clean which is a must for me. Very clean 😊
The bed was abit uncomfortable could feel the spring coils. Lovely idea of the sunken bath however it is actually quite small and not roomy. But it's a nice touch and really good shower wet room!!!! I think some cereal and more breakfast things would be good too.
