Very nice house with plenty room for our group. The kitchen is amazingly stocked with every kitchen item you could imagine. Of course, you do need to purchase coffee and other groceries. We did have some problems: there was no soap for the showers or tubs, and no extra toilet paper or paper towels. We ran out of the paper towels and almost out of TP. We made it work. The owner assured us that there would be plenty for future renting families. So suggestions: it would be nice if there was some fresh coffee to last for a couple days. And absolutely plenty of **extra** paper towels and toilet paper.

Nice comfortable home for a family vacation. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of towels. There were a few negatives though. It is a steep walk down (and up!) get to the beach and town, which was mentioned in the description. It would’ve been nice to have a welcome book with rules, check-out procedures and area information (activities, restaurants, etc.). Information was available electronically, but only for the person who booked the property. The dining table only sat six people, so it’d be nice if the table expanded and more chairs were available. The bar has seating, but it’s very high, so hard to eat there, especially for kids. The dining table needs to be refinished also. And the outdoor grill needs a good cleaning! Some of these items are minor details, but at this price range, the details should be taken care of.

Had an amazing time, we loved how close it was to the beach. Perfect for a family get away.

The home was very nice. Nestled in the woods. As advertised a less than 5 minute walk to Fair Park on beautiful Crystal lake. Lovely bike trail out to Frankfort and back. Golf at Crystal lake golf was very nice. Easy walk downtown for dinner. Swimming at the Platte river was refreshing with a view of Sleeping Bear Dunes. The driveway was steep, but the owner made it's will aware of this and the limited parking. Kind neighbors offered parking to ease the situation. 2 full and one half bath made the stay for 6 adults very convenient. Big beautiful kitchen. Only drawback were the upstairs beds. The twin was hard as rock. The full, decent. The bunks were tucked up to the wall and we didn't see the ladder of you wanted upper bunk access. Overall, would recommend!

Close to many area attractions.
Wonderful rental with nice open common areas. It is close to many area attractions for sight seeing. Close to a very nice community beach on beautiful Crystal Lake. Many stairs will make this rental a challenge for elderly guests.

Fun Family Vacation!
Our traveling party of 9 had a lovely time at this beautiful home! The hosts are very friendly and respond quickly. When we arrived, the house was very clean and we had no problems during our stay. The floor plan worked out well and there was plenty of room for us. The property is in a great location! The king size bed was very comfortable and the rest of the beds are great for kids. The fireplace was a nice feature, and the different lighting options in the open concept area worked nicely, day or night. There may be a timer on the showers so if you have a lot of hair you’ll need to be creative. The driveway was cumbersome with 4 vehicles as well, but neither are a deal breaker. A severe storm came through while we were there and we hardly heard a thing. The house is well built, sturdy, and sound. We all really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend staying at this well kept home!

Great Stay!
We have been visiting Northern Michigan for the last 25 years. We enjoyed our stay and the property was great. House was very comfortable for 8 people to sit, relax, cook, eat, and sleep.

Good Stay
It was comfortable for us and easy to get to Frankfort and all around Crystal Lake. There was a lot in the area to do. We enjoyed it. Driveway was very steep and carpet needs cleaned and/or replaced. There is only one TV in living room. Over all a nice place to stay!

Beautiful Beulah Hideaway
Stayed for week plus at this lovely house in the hills above Crystal Lake, where we spent family summers as kids. Great location - near the lake and near the town, Lovely place with great owners, with whom we had several wonderful conversations. Steep drive way and lots of stairs, but that helped us get in our steps!

Sleeping Bear Dunes Vacation
The house was great. The kitchen was well equipped for all of our needs and the porch was a great spot to sit and visit, would have been even better if it was screened in to keep pesky bugs out. The description is a little misleading saying 4 bedrooms when in reality it is 3 bedrooms plus a loft.

Family reunion
We had a wonderful time with family in Traverse City area. The home we rented was comfortable and offered plenty of room for our family of 8. Easily assessible to all the places we wanted to visit. The only drawback was that there was no air conditioning and the upstairs was a bit too warm to easily fall asleep in. The little floor fans were not much help and there were no ceiling fans.

Trout Bout 2019
We had a wonderful stay. There was plenty of room for the 8 adults staying with us. It is a lovely home with plenty of great features. I got plenty of grief from my cousins who also wanted to book the house for their stay. One bonus feature I discovered - the cardio workout from climbing the hill !!!

A very nice place to stay.
Spacious, modern, clean. Super comfortable bed in master bedroom.
I liked the place, a lot.
If there are downsides, it would be the water. There is quite a bit of iron in it. That affects the taste and smell. Some may wish to buy water, for cooking.
The driveway is a bit challenging, in winter. Conditions were OK for us though.
It could use a house number sign somewhere.
I would definitely stay there again.
This would be a great place, in summer. It's close to the beach.

Beautiful cottage, well stocked
This cottage was beautiful. My family enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying a glass of wine. The owner does warn you about the hill it is located on, and let me tell you, they weren't kidding. The driveway is also quite steep. The cabin was nice, but the location up the hill did make it a little inconvenient . Luckily we had family staying in another cabin down the hill, so this suited our needs to have a nice space to have breakfast in the morning and come home to and relax at the end of a day of sight-seeing.

A lovely house up the hill. Easily accommodate six in the 3 bedrooms and 8 including the loft. Great
The house is lovely and spacious. Nice kitchen and open space for socializing. It is up a steep driveway and also a steep walk uphill back from town. Except for that challenge it is a great spot.

Beautiful home right beautiful Crystal Lake!
This was our first Beulah house rental, after hearing horror stories of similarly priced houses nearby. We were not disappointed in this house! It was beautiful, everything worked wonderfully, and the walk to the beach was short. Also, since it was a short (less than 5 min) walk to the beach it was nice and secluded, it was very peaceful.
On a side note, my daughter left her glasses in the house after we checked out, and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we got them back! The owners are extremely responsive, and take excellent care of their property.
If you're looking for a house to rent in Beulah, you found it!

Beautiful and roomy home
The home is wonderful for a large family or group. We spent lots of time, playing card games and doing puzzles in the great room. We had 4 young children but no yard for them to play in made us be creative. But much time was spent at the lake and nearby rivers and beaches. Great time.

Great location
Beautiful home, lots of room for our large family to socialize. Loved the kitchen space. Steep driveway and parking are a bit of a problem, but we were warned.

Relaxing time in Beulah
We felt that the home was nice, and adequate for our family. It was well supplied with most things that we needed. The location was great to access a number of fun places such as Sleeping Bear Dunes, Empire outlook, swimming and restaurants in Frankfurt, Traverse City, etc. We were frequent customers to the Deli and Ice Cream eateries in Beulah! The house was spacious enough that on a rainy day we weren't cramped. The covered deck was a nice place to sit and relax.
Nevertheless we were disappointed in a few things. The living room couches are in rough shape. They are are suede and it looks as though they have never been cleaned. The deck needs a good cleaning and the cushions on the outdoor furniture need to be cleaned as well. The carpet throughout the house appeared to be dirty and could use steam cleaning.

Cousins weekend was a success!
We had a great experience at this property in Beulah. We had five adults and six kids (ages 1-7) and the house covered all our needs. The big kitchen allowed us to eat in everyday and the large deck was great for meals and hanging out after all the little cousins went to bed. The walk to the beach was fine, the walk back was a little workout, but nothing we could not handle. The home provided us a great gathering space for all our kids to spend some great quality time together. Thank You! - Mike Wojciakowski

Gorgeous house!
We had a wonderful stay. Seven of us stayed at the house for a wedding in Beulah. The house is in a great location and has a lot of space to entertain in the kitchen/dining room/living room. The views from the deck are beautiful. Everything was as described and shown in the pictures and the owners were very responsive. Thanks so much!

Nice house on Benzie St. in Beulah
The location is great - unlimited things to do in the area. The house is pretty big and clean. The property is peaceful and wooded. Everything went pretty smoothly and the owners accommodated our last minute request to add another night on the front end of our trip.

Perfect Central Location for Day Trips
Upon arrival we were greeted with a very tidy, open concept spacious home that easily sleeps 12 as advertised and a covered deck for outdoor eating and relaxing. The trust idea of "use and replace" what's there was evident by previous guests, just bring your food and shop for what you use or consume. The location was great to access the public beach, short drives to the dunes, hiking trails, restaurants, fishing and cherry picking areas. There was so much to keep us occupied the TV was never turned "on". Our family motto is leave it how you found it so in about an hour the floors were swept, carpeted areas vacuumed and some dishes were being washed as we drove down the road. Oh, we live in Michigan with 3 U of M "Go Blue" graduated grandchildren so we chose to be good spirited sports fans as the owners live in Ohio and claim to be "Buckeye" supporters. If we chose to vacation in this area in the future, this home would be a first choice.

Great location, house very well equipped, very clean and spacious ! Perfect !
We really liked the house, very big, a lot of space , very nice with children to play, a lot of amenities and very well equipped ( all you would find at your own house, even more !), great location just close to the lake and not far from ski and snowmobile. We will love to come back !!!!

House was great, driveway was a challenge!
The house was wonderful. It's exactly as described and had everything needed to stay for several days. The location was great too. The only things I could possibly say that needs improved is the smell of the water. On day one it was terrible but by day four it was much better. I'm assuming it hadn't been run in awhile. The driveway was a challenge with snow and multiple cars but we made it work. Overall it was a perfect family home for the holidays...especially the fireplace.
