We are pleased to open our family holiday home for you to experience the pleasure of holidaying on Bruny Island. No41 Dennes Point is nestled above Nebraska Beach, Dennes Point; stroll down the steps to the safe, sandy beach. A perfect place to enjoy a holiday. Magnificent 180 degree views of the beach and D'entrecasteux Channel. With large windows and spacious decks you'll find it an ideal spot to watch the ever changing movements of the sea. This as new home has comfortable open plan living areas, and a well equipped kitchen with quality appliances, including gas stove, electric oven, microwave & coffee machine. Wide wrap around decks provide a smooth transition from indoor to outdoor living, with outdoor furniture and a gas BBQ. With 2 bedrooms, the home sleeps 4. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed & ensuite access to the home's bathroom. Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds. A porta-cot is available on request for a baby. The mattresses are new and fitted with electric blankets. Quality linen and towels are supplied. There is 1 bathroom and a separate toilet. No41 Dennes Point is a perfect home to simply do nothing - just relax and unwind. But ... for those with energy to burn the opportunities abound - walk South on the beach to magnificent coastal rock formations, spend time on the beach, fish, bring your own boat, play tennis (racquets are provided, the court is 5 minutes walk away). The Jetty Cafe is a 15 minute walk or short drive. They serve hot coffee and delicious meals. Take a drive south for short or long scenic walks, surf the waves at Cloudy Bay, visit Cape Bruny Lighthouse, the Cheese Factory, Oyster Farm, or take a cruise on the Pennicott Wilderness Journeys. There's so much to see and do. The home is well insulated, double glazed, heated and cooled with a heat pump. Rainwater is used, with a quality filter for excellent drinking water. While at Bruny Island, our family loves "screen down time, family up time", enjoying the beach, reading and games, so the TV is small and hidden behind a picture. There is no wifi at the house, however there is great 4G reception for mobile devices. Sorry no pets due to quolls, potaroos, echidnas and birds.

Our stay was incredible. The views did not disappoint. It was peaceful and relaxing - not nearly as busy as Alonnah or Adventure Bay. If you’re looking for a real break - this place couldn’t be more perfect!

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very relaxing stay. The property was exceptionally clean and had everything we could possibly need. Despite the wild weather it was lovely sitting beside the window reading or watching the weather change. We will definitely return. We stayed for 3 nights in Janet’s fantastic, incredibly comfortable home with amazing views to the water/beach and beyond from the expansive windows (with window seating) and also from the large deck. The beds were extremely comfortable - we all slept so well. The home was very well equipped and tastefully decorated.
Janet was extremely easy to communicate with.
If you’re going to stay on North Bruny Island, No 41 Dennes Point is the place to stay! Thoroughly recommended!! Thank you very much Janet for letting us stay in your lovely home. It was a memorable stay.

I booked in for my parents for an early Christmas surprise. They stayed there two nights and absolutely loved how quite, private, clean it was. The comfy bed and the wonderful views from every window. It is so close to the beach as well. Definitely recommend staying here when on Bruny Island.
Hosts were also so accommodating and fantastic to communicate with.

Staying at No41 Dennes Point was truly one of our highlights from our two week family visit to Tasmania. My wife and I would go as far to say that you should make this an absolute priority to stay here if you intend to visit Bruny Island, an ABSOLUTE MUST! 3 nights was barely long enough, so stay for as long as you can! Our children were captivated by the safe, almost private beach below as we sat on the deck above watching, and admiring the 180 degree view of the bay and ocean life. The property is just SO relaxing, if it wasnt for the world class places to visit on the rest of the island we wouldnt have left this property for the duration of our stay. The house also has everything you need, and the hosts are just so lovely. We just felt so honoured to be able to stay here and all our family will never forget the time we got to stay at No41 Dennes Point. We will be back!

It is super comfortable, clean and everything you need is here, we particularly appreciated the dry goods drawer :)
What elevates this property to stunningly perfect is the view and aspect.
You can sit and stare across the bay for hours as the light changes, it's like having a Turner landscape that is alive and available for your constant private viewing.

Not sure i should say how good this place is because i'll never get another booking
well the property is magnificent , the view out the windows is breathtaking , we sat there looking out for 2 or more hours the day we arrived .
we know the owners didn't make the view but they did make the house and what a damn fine job as well
I am a carpenter of 40 + years and the work done in this place is magnificent the lounge furniture is very comfortable the bed was great except a tiny bit firm for my liking , the kitchen was very well fitted with all the utensils one could ask for and great cooktop also .
I could go with supulatives for another 1000 words and we met the owner Janet she was very nice indeed.
This property is probably up there as one of the best places i have ever stayed at

Having never been to Bruny before we were amazed at the clear water and beaches, such a relaxing location with uninterrupted views over the water.
The house was well appointed and kitchen had all sorts of extras not usually included which made cooking for ourselves so easy. The electric blankets were a cosy touch as we were visiting from Qld, the only additional extra could be a dryer. The beds were very comfy and ample throw blankets to rug up with, looking out through the full glass windows at the ocean

It is our second time staying in this wonderful home and we already are planning our next trip. The house is absolutely amazing with everything you could possibly want. It is decorated beautifully with the most incredible view. There are so many spots to relax and unwind, you don’t really need to go anywhere else. The beach is just metres away down a little winding path. The beach is peaceful and calm, complete with rocks to explore and even hammocks to relax on.
I honestly can’t imagine a more perfect place to go on holiday.
The owners are wonderful. Very helpful and provide much needed travel advice and communication about the house. On the day we left we were kindly told we could check out later than normal which gave us more time to enjoy the beach. They are absolutely perfect hosts.

It’s the other end of the island to Adventure Bay, if you have a car you won’t care. STUNNING, cost effective, amazingly well equipped, great quality EVERYTHING, around the corner from some amazing pizza (100 hour ferment on dough). This place is EXCEPTIONAL.

This experience was tops. Amazing view over the channel, crystal clear waters, rays in the bay, visiting curious Quoll at night, lots of Wrasse and a Seagull (yes, really....) caught off the pier with a rod. Hosts are fabulous and it seems they have invested a lot in the house with superb detailing, decor, double glazing, pretty garden, all round a really good value experience.
Would love to visit again.

We loved this house and its spectacular 180 degree views of the bay. Fabulous kitchen, everything you need g door self catering (no restaurants nearby), and super comfy furniture to admire the views. Just wish we had more time there to soak it all up.
Gravel road to access Dennes Point is pretty good but watch out for locals driving it much faster than visitors dare to!

Absolutely stunning views to match a fantastic house. The interior and exterior were faultless, all facilities were amazing. Sitting on the deck in the sunshine enjoying the view or inside in one of the comfiest chairs overlooking the beach below. Will definitely stay again.

For anyone who is reading reviews to decide whether to book this property - stop reading and just book! It is better than the photos show. You feel relaxed and at home as soon as you enter. The views are to die for. Just a lovely place.
