This home was built in 1961 By Robert C Broward, who studied with Frank Lloyd Wright in Taliesin. If you enjoy modern architecture please research his amazing work. This beautiful home is a Frank Lloyd Wright Italian inspired design way ahead of its time. On the main level there are 5 Bedrooms, 3 have Queen Beds, on Full sized bunks can sleep 4, and one has 2 Twins (see pics). 2 Custom Designed Bathrooms with tubs and showers, living room and kitchen with Amazing Views, the living room, kitchen and hallway all have Beautiful Italian Porcelain Flooring.

Custom Built Kitchen by CNC Wood Design. Look for this kitchen in Design & Living Magazine or Online. 3 Decks, one with a Blackstone griddle .The lower level is a split level with 2 walk out areas to the dock, yard, and bonfire area. There are 2 Bedrooms on the lower level, a bathroom with a Walk In Custom Built Rainfall Shower with 5 different heads (very relaxing). A Game Room, Pool Table, Darts etc. (see pics), Laundry Room, and a movie Room with a 9 Foot! HD 1080p Screen Blue-ray/DVD.

Bring your Favorite Movies for the Big-screen Experience! We include a few along with Netflix and Internet Apps. Great for winding down after a Fun day in the sun. Free hi Speed Wifi, We include all bedding, bathroom towels, all cookware, silverware, plates cups, a standard coffee maker & Keurig (bring your favorite K cups) & dishwasher, microwave, Samsung convection oven, fridge with ice maker. We really enjoyed the house. Plenty of space and really like the game room and movie theater room. We also enjoyed the large yard for volleyball and other outdoor games. Our only issue was the high level of weeds off the beach. Heavy weed cover started about 15 feet from the beach, which was fine for the 4 year old, but not for the 2 preteens that want to swim in deeper water.

Our family, including our five children & their families, traveled 8-12 hours to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. This lake house offered us so many opportunities to gather as a group in the kitchen/great room area as well as smaller groups on the 3 different porches. Privacy was possible with the ample rooms & 3 bathrooms. We enjoyed swimming-kayaking-fishing-Olympic watching -campfires-shopping at some unique boutiques in Park Rapids as well as worship time together on Sunday!. So many great memories were made! Thanks!

Our family of 16 (ages 7 to 68) stayed for a week in July. The home is exactly as described and the kitchen is a dream. The second refrigerator downstairs was an added bonus, as was the rain shower heads. We rented the pontoon for 3 days. Kelly directed us to a sandbar in Fishhook Lake. It was a great place for the kids to swim and play in the water. In the evenings, we took "adults only sunset cruises." The home theater was a hit with everyone, especially the teens. Kelly was quick to repond to texts and answered all our questions. He was very easy to work with. There are a ton of things to do in the Park Rapids area. We drove to Itasca State Park to see the Mississippi headwaters, drove go carts and water bumper boats at Evergreen Fun Park, played golf, went shopping downtown, and of course, did some fishing. And we actually caught some!

Had stayed here during our annual golf outing, which kept us busy throughout the daytime hours. This is a perfect place to come back to and hang out. There are plenty of options for everyone to keep entertained and spaces to break off into groups.

This is a beautiful property with the space, bedrooms and amenities that our large family needed. Lots of parking space for trucks and boats. Fishing on the Fishhook river and lake are above average. Local lakes offer other great fishing opportunities.

Very nice place. Since the weather and fishing were not great, we did get some, but the house was able to keep the younger crowd entertained. The basketball, theater, billard, & darts were very well used.

House was perfect size for a group of 14 ladies. We went in April, so unfortunately the weather wasn't conducive to outdoor activities, but I'd love to come back at a time where we could enjoy the lake!

My large family loves this place! (14 peeps, ages 6-65) They enjoy all being together under the same roof instead of separate cabins. Rented the pontoon for the week, Had a Taylor Swift era tour viewing with the grandkids in the theater room on a rainy morning. I caught a huge bass of the dock, and the grandkids caught multiple pan fish and we're entertained for hours The owner has everything you need! We missed coming here last year because the timeframe was already booked. But, we are on top of the game for next year! My only suggestion would be to bring a few containers with lids for leftovers and maybe some ziploc bags. Thanks for another week of amazing memories!

This place is amazing. We had a larger group, and there were plenty of bedrooms to choose from and numerous bathrooms. The kitchen was spacious, clean and accommodating. My group consisted of 8 people, and we had an amazing time congregating around the kitchen island, enjoying morning lake views from the living room, and we especially enjoyed watching a movie on the huge projection screen in the family room. We stayed in the off season, so our group did not take in the lakeside attractions, but this property definitely would have been amazing to enjoy in the summer. The large lot and lakefront area looked inviting and relaxing. It’s a perfect distance from town. It was private, yet local! Thanks for a great family getaway!

The rental had everything needed to just walk-in and enjoy! There was more than enough chairs, outside seating, yard games, inside board games, linens. The adults and kids all enjoyed themselves!

Beautiful place, nice atmosphere, everyone absolutely loved it for our anniversary family party. Kitchen was great. Loved the movie room, game room, bonfire pit, and quite a few used the kayaks. Super great place!! We definitely would come again.

What a great stay! The house offered plenty of room for our large group. We especially enjoyed the theater, pool table & dart board. Plenty of indoor activities to keep us busy on a cold winter weekend. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed for cooking, as well. Beds were very comfortable, bathrooms/showers were great too. Would definitely recommend this house. Beautiful location!

This is a great place! We loved the separation of the bedrooms upstairs so we could put the younger ones down for naps and still spend time in the main area. Beautiful kitchen, porches, and views. The activities downstairs were a hit with all, and the town itself is really cute! The only thing I’d suggest is to bring a few extra blankets, as some of the rooms were hard to adjust at night.

This place has so much space! The kitchen island is huge, which is great for multiple people cooking and eating at once. The bedrooms are almost all isolated from the living areas, allowing folks to retreat and relax effectively when they choose. The basement entertainment is high quality: electronic dart board, nice pool table, and movie/gaming room with excellent acoustics. The Christmas tree upstairs was a nice touch for our family’s holiday gathering weekend. The host is responsive and kind; he even said he would ship back our toddler’s beloved stuffed animal that we left behind!

My husband and my 5 grown children (3 with spouses) and 3 grandchildren spent 4 nights here. Not only is this property beautiful architecturally, but also spacious and cozy for our large family. It has lots of room for us to spread out. Large kitchen area is fully stocked and there are plenty of lake toys and indoor/outdoor games to keep us all busy. Just on the outskirts of town-close to shopping and restaurants. Also a quick drive to itasca state park. The fitness room was a little skimpy on equipment, but we managed ok without. We all very much enjoyed our time here and wished we could stay longer!

Very spacious and roomy! The place was clean and there were plenty of activities for the group to enjoy. The kayaks and paddleboards were fun and everyone enjoyed the stay. Would definitely rent this location again in the future!

This was a family gathering, with 7 teens and 2 in the early 20's. How do you keep such an energetic group busy? Well, this house had it all! From the pontoon boat to corn hole, darts, billiards, cards and numerous other games that we brought, we had a blast! Plus, golf was close by and several good grocery stores (and a superb meat market) that supplied us with all we needed for great meals. Kelly was immediately available if we had any needs and the check in was a breeze. This house was just the right ticket for our family and we feel honored and blessed to have had it's use for one glorious week. Thank you Kelly.

This was a great property for a family reunion! The ample bedroom space and large kitchen worked out wonderfully for a very large group of adults, teens and kids enjoying our time together. The lake (River) access, paddleboards and kayaks, meant lots of ways to spend out time. The frisbee golf nets were a big hit! Being close to the city (but not in a large town) means easy access to stores, shopping, and touristy stuff. Kelly was a wonderful host, always available if we needed him. We rented the pontoon boat for a day and that was a great relaxing time. We will stay here again! -Ed

A group of us traveled to Park Rapids for a wedding of a great friends of ours daughter. All adults ( some adult children and 5 couples. 11 total) It was close to the venue at Wilderness Bay resort and to town. the yard and the dock was beautiful. It was a short stay but using the pontoon available for rent would have been amazing, if we would have had time. Lots of cranes and ducks. The home was as described or better. Game room was great. Kelly was very responsive and helpful. Would return with no hesitation. Thank you

Our family will be talking about this vacation for years to come . We made so many memories together. Huge kitchen and dining area and lord of activities they really have thought of every age group . Movie room was a added bonus and loved 2 refrigerators . They let us check in early and had great communication. The place was so clean and Inviting they even let us add 1 extra day so happy it worked out . We definitely will stay here again .
