Great place to stay with plenty of room.
The views are great from the porch.

We had a great time at the house. The kitchen was stocked with useful cooking equipment. The neighborhood was fantastic. Easy access to the Bay and rivers. The elevator worked well and was helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay on the Bayou! Waking up to the beautiful views and sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee was a highlight of the trip. It's such a quick drive to downtown Bay Saint Louis or Pass Christian. Beautiful location, great property.

The location of the house is excellent. That said, there were some issues:
- the elevator didn’t work (three flights)
- the ice maker didn’t work
- multiple water leaks in the roof, decking and ceiling
- TV in master bedroom did not work
- two inches on residue from grilling in the base of the grill. Caught fire and had some pretty big flames. We took it apart and cleaned it for the next guests.
- glass den door had a large crack in the glass.
- key card for the boat launch didn’t work.
- the lights in the den flicker
- the towel rack in the upstairs master was pulled out of the wall.
The place just needs a little TLC, but we had a great time.

We booked this location at the beginning of the year, several months ahead of our reserved weekend in November. Having older people with physical limitations, one selling point was the elevator. We received communication a week out thy the elevator was broken. We were unapologetically told "we don't have anyone to fix it." We tried to find alternate lodging on the coast and could not, so we were stuck. Upon arrival, the lock box for the door did not work. We called and were told "we don't have anyone to fix it" so they have one hidden key that had to be shared between six adults. Less than ideal for what was advertised as a luxery experience. . None of the TVs in the bedrooms worked either, but that was the least of the issues.
The location on the bayou is great. There are two decks - only the top one has deck furniture. The house was clean and had plenty of towels and bedding. There is a nice ice maker and bar area on the third
floor. The kitchen is quaint and very user friendly.
Unfortunately, the older ones in our group struggled a lot with getting around the house, and even the rest of us had to struggle with luggage and balancing bags. Not the safest experience.
So the whole reason we chose this house was the elevator and the location. At least the location worked out. Also, the attitude of staff when addressing the broken parts of the house really dampened the experience.

This was a spacious home with plenty of sleeping arrangements for our entire family. We brought our bay boat and was able to dock it at the neighborhood boat launch and keep our boat at the homes personal floating pier. Very kid friendly with toys and games for the little grandkids. Kitchen cabinets were stocked with seasonings and must haves for cooking.
The only draw back to this house was outdoor furniture for relaxing in the back yard to attend the kids while playing outside or just sitting out to watch the water. Elevator was nice while it worked. Had to call maintenance and an hour after he left, it quit working. It was a lot of stairs to carry up/down luggage etc.

I will say it was clean. However, the sheets were awful. They were polyester, some were pilling, hot, and cheap. My kids even mentioned this in the princess sheet room and slept on top of the sheets since they were too "scratchy" (pilling). Although the mattress was comfortable this did not matter since the sheets on the top floor master bedroom were so cheap. They need some good COTTON sheets!!!
Communication with manager was okay (not great). We never did get the cable tv to work on 2 of the tvs. The dish washer was broken on arrival, bummer, but that happens. Location we found it quite cumbersome to get in and out of the neighborhood, maybe others would not mind this.
Kitchen had many pans (except for a pizza pan) and dishes. It was nice to have so many beds since we have 5 kids and it is hard to find properties with so many beds. We also liked fishing out the back door, would have like a little more shade though.

The set up of the house was fine and very clean. Renters should be made aware that there is not a regular coffee pot, no can opener (though one was promised), and the dishwasher had a terrible odor so bad that we did not use it.

We loved the house. Great location and the house was lovely. We had a few issues- microwave wasn’t working properly and the property manager was a bit difficult to reach but it was Thanksgiving so that was understandable. We would definitely stay again.
