Initially, I was concerned when we got there, the front door Was a challenge to get into, and there were a few large gaps in the railing of the stairs making it dangerous for small children. After I blocked that off, things were pretty good. Nice accommodations, well stocked kitchen, toys etc. any issues I had initially contacting management were from the evolve company, not the owners.

The house was clean and well appointed. Lots of warmth... literally, as we got to enjoy the fireplace. The house was also nicely furnished and comfortable. We appreciated the no shoes in the house rule since we do the same at home. We were a family of four and had plenty of room... and rooms!
The welcome book has clear explainations of the amenities, expectations, and instructions. The tv in the living room was finicky though and we just gave up on it. Not that we really needed it anyway.
There was significant snowfall before we arrived but the driveway must have been plowed earlier in the day since fortunately the snow wasn't high. We saw the maintenace guys in the AM plowing and they must have come back again while we were out skiing since the driveway was totally cleared.
The location was great. The house is a three minute drive to Stratton village/parking lot and convenient to get to some really nice hiking trails.
We hope to be back!

STRATTON SKI WEEKEND
Great property. About 1/4 mile to Stratton base lodge. Everything in house was labeled and fully equipped. Very clean. The only item was that we could not locate any outside trash/recycle receptacles? Maybe they got plowed over? Mystery…

Family Ski Trip
Great location, on shuttle bus line close to base lodge. Older home with updated baths and kitchen. Fully stocked with kitchen essentials and snacks. Comfortable sofas and chairs.

Excellent property!
We booked this property for our ski shop's annual ski demo trip. There's plenty of space for a large group to hang out in the kitchen/living room area and the large entryway made it easy to stage gear. The sauna was a hit with everyone after a long day of skiing!

Convenient off mountain experience
The property more than met our expectations. The owners had many little extras in the home that made our family stay very enjoyable: labeling all the cabinets, storage areas with contents within, to games for people to play, to throws in the living room for the cold nights.
The location is ideal for skiers at Stratton, with a trail you can walk (about 1/4 mile) or shuttle service.
Highly recommend the home for families wanting to stay near Stratton, but do not want to be on the mountain.

Nice place. Good location. Not great for a group of adults
This house is great for a family with smaller children. We had our adult children with us, and it was a bit cramped. Not a lot of room to move around. The host is very attentive. The back door and window were broken and he offered to send someone over the next day to fix them.

Supper Convenient and Well Organized Cozy Home
We had a fantastic stay at this house for a week of skiing with family and friends. The house is one the best organized homes I've had the opportunity to stay at. Everything is well labeled and provides all of the necessities and more for a stay away from home. This house is setup in a supper kid friendly way for families with children of all ages. The host routinely checked in to make sure our stay was going well and provided very helpful instructions and local guidance. I would not hesitate to book this house again.

Great getaway close to the mountain
The home is wonderfully appointed with everything you could need for your vacation & close to the mountain (we walked one evening). With a roaring fireplace, sauna, open floor plan & being pet friendly, our group couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Great stay in Stratton!
The house was very clean and cozy. The beds and linens were comfortable and the living room was warm with a fire and nice, cuddly blankets. The shuttle to the mountain made the trip very easy! We had a great stay!

Great getaway
Chalet was extremely cute and cozy - Definitely recommend it for a weekend or long weekend getaway. Location is great, close to many hiking trails, and the fireplaces were super nice with lots of firewood stocked. Chalet pretty well stocked, but had a couple minor broken things at the place like the wine opener, lights in the kid's bedroom, and the drip coffee machine having used coffee inside when we arrived. Still a great location and would definitely come back!

July Getaway
Our family had a very nice relaxing 5 nights at this Stratton Mountain home. We like to walk/hike and this location was perfect for that. We hiked halfway up Stratton Mountain the first day and the views were outstanding. The house is located in the heart of the community so it was easy to get to everything. The house has everything you need for a nice relaxing getaway and the property is large enough to play catch with your kids with a ball or frisbee. We also played some bocce around the yard. If you’re concerned during the pandemic, we can tell you that everyone was wearing masks in and out of buildings and we felt very confident and comfortable everywhere we went. Many buildings at the resort are closed but the village square was open daily for shopping and some food.

Great Stay for a Long Weekend
The property was great, clean and spacious. Good sized bedrooms and very comfy beds! It's very close to Stratton Mountain and is legitimately walkable (7 mins). We were with a group of 8 and had plenty of space. Would stay here again.

Ski Get-away at Stratton Mountain
This was a multi-generational three day getaway which ended up, as indicated above, very good. We all had a great time and the property was as advertised. Looking forward to doing something like this again, next winter!

Great house near Stratton Mountain Resort
We had a great time during a recent ski trip to Stratton and a large part of it was due to this house. The house was within a few minute drive to the base, which made nap time with the little ones easy! There was an incredible amount of attention to detail - everything was labeled so you didn’t have to, for example, open every kitchen drawer to find that one cooking utensil. We had to contact the manager and the response was immediate along with additional follow-up. Truly had a great experience!

Everything and more!
What an amazing experience. We have visited Stratton many times before, but this property made our experience stand out. Before arriving, we received a welcome packet that not only made us feel comfortable with the check in process, but made packing much easier. You can tell the owners truly think and consider their guests throughout the entire stay. From the extras we found stocked up for us (shampoo, food, COFFEE) to the communication throughout the trip, my family was amazed. We had an truly unforgettable vacation and will definitely be returning!

Great House
Excellent house very close to the mountain. We enjoyed this house very much for a family ski weekend. I will say that it is not easily walkable to the mountain so we had someone in our party drop us off each drive. It only takes 30 seconds to drive to the mountain. House was in good shape and well stocked. We could not figure out how to get the sauna to work but that may have been our fault. Beds were comfortable as was the sitting area. An outdoor Jacuzzi would be a good addition and there seems to be space for it.

Lovely & clean house with loud heating system
The first impression of the house was really nice - very cosy, comfortable leather sofa, soft blankets and great fireplace... until the night came and kids started running upstairs to scream there are strange noises which were coming from all over the ceiling where the old piping was attached. on top of that every 10 mins we heard the sound of an explosion as the boiler started up - kept me up half of the night!

BEST SKI HOUSE FOR FAMILIES
We just recently returned from our Stratton ski Trip. This Home was a great location about 2 blocks from the Mt. could be walked or wait at driveway for the shuttle but with small children we drove with our gear over. Arriving at night, entry was a breeze with their key- code door. We were pleased to find the house already warm, shoveled , with shovels & salt, and dry wood available for us. The home is modern and clean and has absolutely everything you need from kids toys, toiletries, to towels- literally just need to bring your gear! The entire home is labeled so it is simple to find everything you need. My husband & I have rented many vacation homes from NY, NJ, Poconos and have never had all the toiletries, spices condiments, paper towels, toilet paper provided. This home is fully loaded, kid friendly, and we highly recommend it to families. Thanks again for an enjoyable stay & amazing family memories!

Perfect spot for a ski weekend at Stratton!
Terrific ski house! Super Convenient! Excellent weekend at Stratton. Two minute drive to the mountain. By far the neatest and best organized ski house I've ever stayed in. Everything marked. Lovely living room, great kitchen with tons of little amenities. Small but neat bedrooms. Great toys for the kids. Owners make everything easy. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Stratton Ski Home!
This home could not have been more perfect for our stay at Stratton! We comfortably fit 6 adults, 1 child and 1 puppy. The house had everything we needed for our stay from a well stocked kitchen to great technology for our entertainment. The owners had all information well laid out for us to enjoy our stay and were more than accomadating and easy to reach! We will certainly be back!

Close to slopes yet private
We had a great stay. The kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, everything was clean, and there is plenty of space. It is a split level layout with three bedrooms, full bath, and laundry downstairs from the spacious entryway, and the main living area (kitchen/dining/living) and another bedroom and bath on the upper level. Nice natural lighting and outside views from upstairs, and pleasant/comfortable decor and furniture. Management was immediately responsive when we had a question on arrival. A very short drive to drop off skiers at the main entrance, and during the times we were there, parking at the mountain and village area was readily available. The only minor difficulty was finding the driveway after a snow storm in the dark on arrival- the drive was plowed earlier in the day and twice during our stay, but we arrived just at the wrong time to easily be able to see where to pull in. Easily solved by having someone get out of the car and scope it out on foot though. Would definitely recommend, and stay here again when we're back in the area.

Amazing house steps away from Stratton Mountain!
Stayed at this house with a group of friends for a weekend of skiing at Stratton and couldn't be happier. House is spacious and as described in the listing, and the sauna was a plus. Pantry is well stocked, plenty of firewood, and both the owner and property manager are amazingly responsive. Couldn't recommend this house highly enough!

Welcoming, Convenient, and Comfortable
We had a very nice weekend at the house. It's welcoming, spacious, light and could easily have accommodated even more than the 5 of us. The instructions for the house were very clear. The only thing I would say is that driving to the mountain seems to make the most sense. It's not really walk to slopes (at .5 miles), though it is billed as such; and the shuttle to the slopes runs only once/hour. It was an easy, 2 minute drive to the mountain. (And my daughter did walk home when she stopped skiing early.) Thanks for a lovely weekend.

Simply perfect!
This is one of the cleanest most well stocked homes I've stayed in. I still can't get over how meticulously clean the home was and how close it was to Stratton Mountain. The pictures really don't do it justice. It was more than I was expecting! I would definitely stay here again and we'll be back next year for the WinterWonderGrass music festival and I will be staying here.
