About this house rental

Our beautifully renovated cozy country home sleeps 7 comfortably. The master bedroom and 2nd bedroom have a queen size bed. The third bedroom has bunk beds, twin over double. Our gourmet kitchen has all wood cabinets with gran.ite counter tops, travertine brick backsplash and stainless steel appliances. It is equipped with everything you need to whip up anything from a quick breakfast to dinner for the family. The large dining room table seats 8 .There is a front porch for sittin' and a big back yard for chillin' or grillin'. We have plenty of off street parking for your boat and trailer...or if you want to park those Harley's behind the fence.

Karen has a beautiful home. She provided everything we needed with plenty of paper products, kitchen items, blankets, and towels! I’d definitely stay here again. There was a category 1 hurricane while I stayed here, and I needed to speak to Karen. She was extremely quick to respond to my texts and she checked in on us often. All worked out and there were no major emergencies, and even though she had no control over the power being out, Karen helped solve questions I had. My dad lives close by and this was the perfect place to stay while I visited and I’ll book next year if need. I highly recommend this quaint area and safe neighborhood. .

This home was perfect for a weekend getaway to paddle the springs. There was plenty of room for the 2 of us. It’s just a short walk to get to the water and downtown Tavares. This area is beautiful, relaxing and a short drive along the lake will get you to Mt Dora. Would definitely book again.

We were in FL on business for a benefit bass tournament. The house was very clean and comfortable. Karen was very accommodating to or needs and very helpful. House was centrally located to the venues we needed to travel to. It was great and I would happily stay there again and recommend to anyone needing to stay in that area.

What a great quick getaway to this home! We loved the older homey feel. Very generous host! Close to quite a few restaurants/bars with good food and entertainment by the water. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back to the same place if we venture that way again!!!

Karen was a great host. She had a basket of goodies as well as multiple K-Cups available in the kitchen. She answered questions promptly and was able to leave a light on for us for our arrival. The space is small, but just what we needed as we just slept there.

This was the perfect place for us!! We planned this for over a year and had my sisters and my daughter drive from Texas and I came from Upstate New York and we had family from Carolina also. We had one mix up on the dates for the first night and Karen reserved a hotel for us and she paid for it. We much appreciated it. We would definitely rent this place again. We appreciated all the hospitality and our Dad's Birthday Party was a total sucess!!! Thanks so much for everything!!

This was our first time using VRBO. We had 7 people staying and it was a delightful stay. Wonderful “treats” were supplied by our host. Plenty of towels, for that large group. We enjoyed our stay!!

We had a great stay. The house was everything it said it was. The location was perfect for our needs. The extra towels in the kitchen and bathroom were appreciated along with the coffee.. The bottle of wine and snacks provided by the owner was a pleasant surprise. We will definitely use this property the next time we are in Florida! Thank you Dianna

Rented this place for the weekend for our son’s fishing tournament. Perfect location, with boat parking and hook up. House was very clean and beautifully decorated for Fall! Beds comfy. Fully stocked with everything you would need plus even more. We really enjoyed our stay and will plan to rent again next time we are here for another tournament.

This home was great, especially with a 2 year old the host provided items to keep her entertained and I loved the book selection. The rooms were clean and nice. The only thing was the an issue was the A/C. There were moments when the house got extremely hot even when I turned the air down and the hot water handle in the 1st bathroom felt loose. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Our initial impression of house was fine. It’s an older home and cozy like visiting an old friend. It was well stocked and tidy upon arrival and included a nice welcome basket. We did have a slight pest control issue in the front bedroom on our first night but our host was available and reimbursed us for the inconvenience and immediately sent someone to take care of it. Master bedroom bath was spacious and very comfortable.

Three fishing buddies with boat and trailer. Driveway was big enough for 21’ bass boat truck. We drove 12 hours and arrived early. The house was perfect for our week long fishing trip.

My husband & l stayed for 2wks. We are familiar with the area so knew we were within walking distance to the water where there are restaurants with great food & fun bars. The house is quaint, was clean & fit out needs nicely with family & friends coming in & out to visit us. Tons of towels are provided, beds are comfy & l wish we had the water pressure at our house that the kitchen sink has. My only suggestion would be to have a dresser in the main bedroom (as the other 2bdrms do). The antique piece of furniture is nice but not functional particularly for longer stays. Would definitely book again.

Charming renovated historic cottage just a few blocks from Lake Dora in a quite, family neighborhood. It is stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay, plenty of room for a family, with large kitchen space, long dining table and ample family room seating. Just a few minutes from downtown Mount Dora. Host is very responsive!

Came to Tavares to watch a beach volleyball championship tournament and this house was the perfect space for our family!! It was so convenient to everything we were doing for the weekend. And the house had all we needed to be comfortable with a larger group! Owner is really helpful and quick to communicate back when I had any questions! Hope to be back next year!

Very clean and spacious good neighborhood. Plenty of extra blankets, towels. It was a very cold weekend when we were there. Karen brought in extra space heaters in case we needed them. Very conveniently located. Will definitely book again.

This house was plenty roomy for our group. Clean, kitchen was stocked with all you would need. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. I had issues with finding local cable and reached out for help. (I’m pretty good at figuring that kind of stuff out but couldn’t.) And I didn’t get much help. Other than that it was fine.

I would of given a 5 star! But the 2nd queen bed i believe it to be a futon mattress, and the 3rd bedroom had plastic over the mattress, which i understand but they do make cloth protectors now.. after riding on motorcycles all day i just wanted to get into a comfortable bed. Everything else was prefect!

Great porch, clean, good set-up, nice sized kitchen, very nice back yard area to grill and eat. Great location, easy walk to the Main Street area. Great value. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms recently renovated. We loved it.
