The house is well-stocked with spices, laundry detergent, cooking supplies, etc. It comfortably accommodated a family of 6 having the right amount of furniture and beds, but not making it too crowded. Nice backyard with a BBQ also.

We have stayed here many times because it feels like home. From the furniture, kitchen & the fact that there's room for the whole family--even a fenced yard for the dog. There are puzzles, books & kids videos. The artwork is lovely. The owner keeps things updated, as with the nice new flooring. Make your own special memories in this wonderful home!

I wanted to let you know about the missing amenities and broken bed. "Oh, the queen", that was the response from Jeanne on Friday, when I told her there was a broken bed upstairs.
Totally false advertising.
In the listing it noted:
"Each bedroom includes TV w/Dish network and an attached DVD" The bedroom downstairs had neither one. The living room TV had no functioning Dish network and there was no DVD
"There's even a grill and fire pit for more festive occasions." There was no fire pit which was one of the deciding amenities for our choice.
"Kick up your feet on the leather rocker or stretch out on the sofa/futon". The furniture did not match the descriptions or the pictures.
I am hoping to receive a one-day refund for misleading and denying us what was advertised.

Super clean, 3 bedrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Master bedroom with bathroom, and another bedroom upstairs. The 3rd bedroom is downstairs and so is the 2nd bathroom.
If they’ve fixed the jammed rear sliding door, and the rattling HVAC filter directly above the master bed this place is about as perfect as it gets.

We rented this house because we got married in Newport on February 2nd. The place was lovely. Only having two cars for seven people was tough. We needed room for three cars but the place we rented for the wedding let us keep an extra vehicle there. It was a lovely rental and I have it saved in case we need something like that again one day!

I was locked out of the house upon arrival with two small kids. I called multiple numbers & texted for over an hour trying to get assistance.
The 10 digit code did not work on the front door and there was no other key codes, though there were two lock boxes out front. I finally received a call back after searching for an available hotel only for them to inform me that the furnace was broken, that’s the only reason they called me. There was a key in the lock box out front but this info wasn’t given. I feel we should be reimbursed or compensated for the incompetence & though we appreciated the space heaters they did not work in one of the bedrooms.
Good luck to anyone checking in. I saw previous reviews stating they had this similar issue & assumed they had to have gotten this fixed by now.

The beds were wonderful and the house is close to everything! Our 3 generational family enjoyed a wonderful vacation stay in Nye Beach Bungalow. A bathroom on each floor, one bedroom for the older ones of us not needing to climb the stairs, and 2 large bedrooms upstairs made this home very convenient. It is clean and comfortable. We will definitely book this home again.

Most everything about this property was great to exceptions were that we could never get the lockbox on the outside to work with the code provided in number two we bought dinner for our family of six, but the oven wasn’t working spending money on food that we couldn’t bake was quite frustrating.

This house was great! Close to the beach which was perfect and had a completely enclosed back yard for the dog.
The beds are hard to sleep in - upstairs are WAY too soft and you can't move around and downstairs is super hard. But if you know that in advance you can plan for who sleeps where!
The added bonus is the apple and pear trees. We were there the perfect time and the fruit was great to pick and eat!

Great house for three generations.

House was dirty. It was outdated, with lots of broken fixtures and old worn out things. Even the drip coffee maker was probably one of the first ever made without even an auto shut-off. The lock on the back door didn't work, I had to use a stick to to keep it closed securely. The deadbolt on the front door didn't work. The washing machine was rusting. I could go on. I have pictures. It cost more in fees than the actual property rent. Terrible. I would not ever recommend this property.

We loved the big kitchen with the deck and a fenced back yard. It was perfect for our dog and the three adults in our group. The weather was lovely and we spent a lot of time on the deck. Great water pressure! Kitchen nicely stocked with spices, oils, several pans and pots. Gas grill on the deck was in excellent condition! Easy to get to Nye Beach.
Downsides: Needs much more attentive cleaning! Cobwebs and dirty vents, one particularly gross. Carpet wasn’t well vacuumed. Trash on back lawn I kept picking up. Partially smoked cigarette on the back deck and this property is supposed to be non-smoking. Big pot in the kitchen is missing a handle so you can’t lift it hot to drain. Nonstick pans damaged and dull knives. All the mattresses in the “kids” run are wrapped in plastic covers with a pillow top thing over that; I (age 53) slid around on this NOISY, too soft, combination and the pillow top thing was hanging off the mattress! I slept terribly. Sliding door of kitchen only kept secure by way of a board, locking mechanism is broken.

My family had a great time at this house. Pretty close to the beach and other places around town. Couldn’t figure out why there is a 7 person limit for the house, but 8 beds. Also the description and photos need updating because there are many differences. There are 2 queen beds and 6 twin beds. And there isn’t a tv in every bedroom. The downstairs bedroom doesn’t have a tv. I didn’t bring games because there was a photo with lots of games in the space under the stairs and there were games listed in the description. There was nothing. Luckily we found a deck of cards upstairs with the many many movies. Also, the dish network option wasn’t working. Luckily there was Netflix.

House was beautiful. Definitely outdated. I would have preferred a coffeemaker that wasn’t so old and cheap. There was only 2 pods for laundry and we reserved the house for 7 people for 3 days… other than that we enjoyed our stay. Beds were comfortable. House was clean.

House was perfect for our family getaway. Just a short walk from Nye Beach and shops/cafes. The backyard was great -- we grilled and ate at the picnic table each night. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. (Bonus sweet little black kitty visiting while I sat outside reading.) My only complaint is water pressure in the upstairs shower -- though I understand the reason and am *rarely* happy with water pressure away from home. Overall, highly recommend and would book again.

Located in a nice, quiet location an easy walk from shops, restaurants, and a public beach. The fenced backyard was perfect for our dogs.

Great space for family
The kids room had perfect beds for our boys (3yo, 5yo, 7yo). Master bedroom bed was comfortable. Living and kitchen spaces were comfortable. Neighborhood was a decent walk to the beach with littles-about half mile, but quiet streets. Only thing it was missing was an electric griddle ;)

Close enough to small shops that we could walk to. We were able to get out and do a lot of things that we wanted to do. We enjoyed staying at the house as it provided everything that we needed to enjoy our weekend! The house was neat, tidy and definitely that comfortable feeling of home!

Great location with lots of space
This beach house was perfect for our family getaway. It's about a .5 mile walk to Nye Beach. Quaint shops and tasty restaurants are on the way there. The house has 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths which was great with 8 beds in total, including pull ours. It has a fully fenced back yard which was great for our pup. The mattresses on the double beds seem due to be replaced and the downstairs bedroom was musty, which is why I am giving 4 stars. All in all, we had a good experience.

Nye Beach Bungalow
This was the perfect house for us. Very comfortable and very function. Close enough to the food stores on Highway 101, but far enough away that it was very peaceful and quiet. The home was very clean and we loved it. We would definitely stay here again. The walk down to the Nye Beach area, which has a nice sandy beach, cafes, restaurants (Nan's Irish Pub was our favorite) and gift stores is not too far. We also walked down to the Newport bayfront area one day, which is a bit further, but is good exercise.

Nye beach house
The house was just right for our family and everyone had a great time. The property is very well cared for and clean and had many useful items. The only complaint was the barbecue does not work and it is rusted and unappealing to cook on. So I would suggest that it needs a new barbecue. Thank you for a wonderful visit we hope to come back soon

Accessible & cozy on Nye
This home was hidden in a quiet neighborhood and well equipped with everything our family needed on a day to day basis. Within walking distances to the beach and shops. We found our favorite restaurant, Newport Cafe. We would come back again! Also, loved the fruits grown in the garden.

The Purpose
We headed to the coast with a purpose to put my wife's ashes in the place she requested before she passed. Being able to come back to a comfortable home was nice to help us process our emotions intimately, as opposed to a hotel room. It was literally close enough to everything we needed or wanted to make the trip convenient and memorable. We will be starting there again in the future...

Great get away
The house was clean when we got there and there were notes about WiFi and how to access it. The dryer did not work when we got that and they left a note. We did find a pair of dirty underwear under the bed upstairs which we left a note to let them know. The pictures on the website definitely need to be updated as they did not match the furniture that is in the house. But other than that it was a quite neighborhood not far from the beach and some stores. Great fenced in yard which my dogs loved. Could not hear the my boys playing their xboxes upstairs so that’s always a plus. Beds are softer than I am use to but still comfy. I would definitely go back.

Great house, though we were asked to arrive late for them to finish cleaning and the house was STILL quite dirty upon our arrival. Photos were accurate to the house and the view was beautiful and near everything you would need!

Great location
This house is in a great location. The house has everything you need and is comfortable. The only reason that I took a star away is because it needed cleaned badly. There were game pieces and food pieces on the floor. The stairs I'm not sure have ever been vacuumed and the washer was covered in sand. The dryer was broken with a note on it. It wasn't a big deal for us because we were only there a couple nights. One of the cushions for the dining table had some kind of food stuck to it. The bunk bed ladder was missing and there were sharp metal brackets sticking out. I have 4 year old twins so they were unable to use it but there are plenty of beds in this house so not too big of a deal. Overall I would stay again, the main thing I was most upset about was the cleanliness. The neighborhood is quiet and it has a nice fenced yard.

Comfortable
This was our first time staying in a vacation rental and I would have to say that we thoroughly enjoyed this for our large family. The only thing that I was disappointed with was the previous renters did not put the garbage out so the can was stuffed and we had to leave an extra bag next to it when we left.
