Very disappointing. Would not recommend.

Very poor cleanliness. Mould round windows. Blood on mattress. bathroom extraction fan very dirty. cobwebs on bathroom walls. Light switches not working. Inadequate room lighting. Car Park difficult to find. Parking area and access to room via a steel staircase was a building site. Dustbins in parking area was over flowing with food waste.

Very pleasant staff and a decent sleep.

Location perfect, staff were so happy to help when I arrived way before check in and were so understanding. Was easy to access, comfy and tea and coffee available.

I thought the light switch next to the bed would turn off main lights but it didn't. Otherwise all good.

Pleasant

The price and room was good value, especially with my own bathroom. Fish & Chips across the street also were a great price and tasty. It was very close to the train station for getting into Glasgow.

I was told by locals who brought me to the tavern that as a foreign tourist it was not the safest area and they didn't recommend walking at night in the area. I had no issues and the room was comfy. It was a little noisy as karaoke in the pub below but nothing you wouldn't expect from staying above a pub.

Nice room but noisy

Room & ensuite were nicely furnished and had a microwave so we could cook our tea

Pub and road outside were pretty noisy and the beds were not comfy, could feel all the springs in the mattress

Friendly and accommodating staff. Very quick response to my email request for early check in. Rooms were warm, clean, comfortable and good value. Very convenient location, supermarket, cafes, train station on your doorstep. Would definitely return.

Short break Blantyre.

Friendly staff, clean rooms and the 2 day stay was Hassel free. The rooms are above the pub but no noise can be heard from there or the main road. Plenty of coffee/Tea. Nice big TV on the wall. Bathroom/ Shower all modern, clean. Parking was a small issue to be close by but it all worked out at the end. The pub is small but great. No food is on offer but there are plenty of takeaway across the road should you get hungry. The locals are great we were welcomed right from the start.

Don’t book if you support anyone but rangers and it’s a fair distance from Glasgow Centre. Some taxis wanted £80. Room w

the room was clean enough.

soon as we arrived we were greeted with “Are you Red,White and Blue”. Rangers flags all over the walls of the pub down stairs and rangers songs blasting. We were asked to wait outside and the woman would bring the keys out to us. We never seen or heard from anyone again till we handed the keys over in the morning to what looked like a lock in from the night before.

lovely wee surprise

Booked room to attend family party, was a room over a pub, price was good so we went for it WOW from start to finish, staff at the bar (to get key) were lovely, couldnt believe the room absolutely spotless, tea coffee etc, plenty of plugs including usb ports, nice sized bathroom, wee table to sit at, bed was very comfy, although on a main road when the window was shut we couldnt really hear it. Although over the pub wasnt noisy and we were going out for the evening anyway. Shower was hot and plenty of water - we have a power shower so found the pressure a bit soft

Remote didnt work - as we were going out it didnt matter and when told the next day staff went to replace batteries,
