LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION . . . This lovely cottage centered just off 2nd. St. is in the most desired area of Long Beach - BELMONT SHORE. A "GEM" of a property with A/C and PRIVATE GARAGE. If you're bringing children, your older kids will love the beach on the peninsula with waves or . . . we're also close to the bay where youngsters can sit along the water with sand toys - the water is calm and "wave free". Enjoy water activities close by . . . kayaking, windsurfing, sailing, or just floating around on a raft. Sailors also love our location as we're a 10 minute drive to the Alamitos Bay Yacht Club (ABYC) our property is the perfect location for those out of town Regattas!

Once you've arrived at Maison de Fleurs, you don’t really need a car to enjoy Belmont Shores, Naples, Belmont Heights, several beaches or parks nearby because you're in close proximity to just about everything on foot. Our property is close... yet just far enough to enjoy a little peace and quiet to read a book or take a nap!
For some of the local activities: Take a tour of the famous Queen Mary, visit the Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific or if you have time - take the ferry to Catalina island. Go whale watching and most likely you'll get to see some dolphins frolicking alongside the boat. Again, there is quite a large selection of restaurants, bars and boutiques within walking distance. You might enjoy riding a bike or walking along the canals of Naples Island to look at beautiful homes, boats and/or beaches. If you don't feel like walking, consider a gondola ride and relax while you enjoy the scenery by water! Visit the Long Beach Art Museum or our local Performing Art Center.

Staying within the true boundaries will allow you to enjoy the area without having to drive and park your vehicle. Enjoy a property that includes the use of our private onsite garage.
As shown on-line, this property is on one level throughout the interior. It does however have a raised front porch as well as raised back porch with three steps upward. It's in a location where bungalows and cottages were built in the early 1920's and is NOT suitable for guests requiring ADA Standards ( "Americans with Disabilities Act") requiring assistance or wheel chair.

This is a very comfortable, clean and well appointed property. we enjoyed our stay, catching up with relatives. The location was very quiet...a surprise being just off the hustle and bustle of Second Street.

The house was wonderful! Everything was ready for us and immaculately clean and well presented to a very high standard! The house was well equipped and close to restaurants, cafes and the wonderful beaches and canals of Long Beach. Kelly, the host, was fantastic. Our stay was great! The property was clean and close to many restaurants and the beach. We enjoyed the outdoor space and accessibility to 2nd Street. Kelly was communicative and friendly. I would definitely recommend! We hope to be back.

This is our 2nd year staying here. We go to Long Beach for a Bbq competition at Famous Dave’s. This home is perfect and never disappoints.
There is some kind of WINNING vibe in this home as we Won last year and again this year!

First off, we enjoyed our stay and would 100% stay at Kelly’s fantastic bungalow again! It was clean, very cute, and had everything we wanted in a long weekend vacation rental.
One thing I would like to note, that is mentioned n the description but not particularly well, is that the master bedroom is accessed through the 2nd bedroom. It wasn’t a huge problem for our group but was not ideal. Additionally, the listing is incorrect in some parts (so again confusing, or misleading if you don’t read the full description) about what the 2nd bathroom in the master has as far as amenities. There is NOT a shower in the 2nd bathroom, just a sink and a toilet. Again this worked fine for our group but wasn’t ideal.
Just to emphasize, we enjoyed our stay and Kelly’s house was great, but I felt the listing description could be more clear.

Property is in a great location, literally steps from 2nd St. And a short walk to the beach. The house itself was perfect, 3 large bedrooms, a backyard that is amazing and all the amenities. Kelly was responsive from the moment we reserved the place and was the perfect host. Strongly recommend this place, everything was perfect.

This house is the most charming ever, and Kelly makes it feel like you are staying at your aunt Sue’s French cottage. From the fresh flowers in the windows to the cozy blankets in the living room, she has thought of everything.
The master bed was the comfiest I have ever slept in, and the kitchen had everything. She even stocks bathroom stuff, just in case you forgot it.
The location can't be beat and is a 10-minute walk to anything your heart desires.
We will be back.

The location is superb, a short walk to the beach and just a few steps out the front door to restaurants, craft beers, coffee, and dessert! The back patio is private with a beautiful array of plants and hummingbird attracting flowers-so enjoyable just watching them buzz around.
The kitchen has just what you need to cook up a fabulous meal-we enjoyed steaks on the grill with some good wine! Our host checked on us to ensure we had what we needed for a memorable stay! The Cottage by the Sea would be a repeat for my family.

The house was lovely and the location couldn’t have been better. Just around corner from 2nd street which had a large selection of very good restaurants and bars and only 10 minutes walk to beach. We also went to Disney a couple of days which was about a 30 minute drive. Belmont Shore was a lovely area for walking around and the locals were extremely friendly. Kelly could not have been more helpful and definitely the best host we’ve had at any Vrbo rental ( and we’ve had a lot).
Highly recommend this place.

This is a gem of a property. Classic Belmont Shore bungalow. Amenities are great, nice quality master bed (King size). Comfortable living. Backyard redesign is wonderful. Evening wine on the front porch and people watching is great. We cooked most of the time but also ate out in the Shore. Morning walks on the beach are wonderful. Very convenient. One of the best places to rent in the shore. Love it.

I have stayed in the area several times. I will share the good and the things that could possibly be improved.
The location is great, right by 2nd street and the beach. The backyard is super cute.
The things I would improve are things like only having one wash cloth for 6 days and 5 people. I also would have liked either a Keurig or programmable coffee pot. The other thing to note is none of the bedroom doors have locks and to enter the master bedroom you must either go outside or walk through someone else’s bedroom. There isn’t really any privacy in any of the bedrooms, as they are all close together.
We did appreciate Kelly’s communication and having a small garage was nice to avoid having to move a car for street sweeping. The home is decorated very nicely too. Overall the stay was nice, there were just a few minor inconveniences.

Perfect house with gorgeous backyard garden oasis for morning coffee and a lovely front patio for cocktails in the evening. The house decor was just as the pictures show with a designer touch. Loved the house, location right by Second Street and our host, Kelly was a gem! We hope to return soon.

Picked this location due to proximity to LAX and the Beach
Picked up family at the airport after a 13 hr flight and rested in Long Beach for 4 nights. Location is very convenient to walk to restaurants and the beach. Garage makes parking a non-issue. Very relaxing back patio for reading books. Excellent outdoor grill. Beds are really comfortable.

This was the best property we’ve stayed in to date. The location is perfect! The home is fully stocked with everything you may need. The beds are very comfortable. The patio is beautiful. We had no issues with parking on a holiday weekend. The owner is so helpful sending local recommendations and events.

Chrysler mini-van fit in the garage. Charming decor, minutes from the beach, fully equipped. Very comfortable and owner very responsive to fixing grill gas issue as we were awaiting dinner.

Home was perfect for our 4 day stay to compete in a BBQ competition. Our smoker fit perfect in the garage and kept all our gear safe once we were done and it was time to relax. We would definitely book this home again.

I felt the property interior had a high esthetic and was technically up to date with USB charging stations, The beds were comfortable, plenty of seating in the living room and eating area. It was a nice walk to the beach and it was very close to a mile or so of restaurants. The outside seating area was nice. I felt the property was reasonably priced.

Everything about this property was perfect from the selection, arrival, stay and checkout. Kelly is amazing and made us feel like a guest in her home not as a rental contract. The breeding was very nice and we slept comfortably. All amenities (plenty of fresh linens, glassware, cookware, throw pillows, etc) we're so accommodating and cozy. We didn't get time to sit in the backyard due to the weather but the layout is absolutely enchanting. Couldn't have been a better trip. My husband and I traveled with our two teenaged kids and 2 of their friends. We easily walked to the beach, coffee shops and restaurants. Perfect!

We stayed here about 2 weekends ago and it was perfect for our family group, my husband & me, our adult kids & spouses. It was close by to local family & walking distance to all the shops, restaurants & bars of 2nd street. There is a cute little backyard area, which we didn't get to use as the weather was pretty cold & rainy but it is lovely. The bedrooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Kelly is a superb communicator and very responsive to any questions we had. Will definitely try staying again the next time we are in the area!

This adorable house is beautifully curated. The attention to detail is amazing and we felt like there was something really special in every space. It truly feels like a home away from home and has a magical garden area as well. The backyard space is so awesome with gorgeous lighting and great outdoor furniture to enjoy! The inside beds are to die for. Everyone raved about how they felt like they were sleeping on clouds:) I’ve rented a lot of homes and this one is really special. You have everything you need and delicious restaurants all within walking distance too. The single car garage fit a full size Hyundai Sonata sedan with no issue. The owner Kelly is just wonderful🌸She’s explained everything in easy to understand detail and is incredibly responsive to anything you may have questions about. What a pleasure it was to stay at her beautiful home! We hope to be back soon!

In addition to its great location in the lovely Belmont Shores area of Long Beach, this property was so welcoming the minute we walked in. The cleanest place I’ve ever stayed, it still felt warm and homey. The owner Kelly was very communicative, we felt like we knew exactly what to do and what to expect. The beds were sooooo comfortable, and the outdoor spaces an absolute delight. We were able to walk to great meals, the beach, sea kayaking and shopping. We’d stay at this home again in a heartbeat when we return to Long Beach.

We stayed four days and it was perfect. A half block from second where the stores, bars and restaurants are. Easy to walk to beach or anywhere really. The home was perfectly set up and even the small garage was great so you do not need to street parking. The outdoor spaces where wonderful to sit in, both front and back.
Kelly was a great host always available for questions and tips. Very patient with all my questions.
The book with restaurants was extremely nice but a part of me thinks you can’t go wrong with food in Long Beach.

One of the cleanest Vrbo unit I’ve ever stayed in and we’ve been to many all over the country. From check in to check out the stay was excellent problem and problem free. The home is located in the heart of a busy food and shop district so plenty to do on your stay. Location was perfect from lbc convention center for our work as well. Highly recommend the stay!

Stop scrolling and scoop up this 5+Star jewel, a few blocks from the ocean and bay, just off 2nd Street in heart of Belmont Shore in Long Beach, conveniently close to to the pubs, shops and restaurants, yet very secluded and on a quiet street.
Walking into the cottage was a feast for the eyes, so stylish, tasteful, and welcoming. The beds were excellent, so comfortable and, importantly, the bedding and towels were top quality.
The cute kitchen was equipped with everything we needed to cook at home, from a blender to roasting pans and a coffee maker, paper towels and napkins! There were drinks, condiments, and ice already in the refrigerator and staples in the cabinets, as well as coffee and filters, which is so important upon arrival.
And did I mention AC?! We had a heatwave and it was so great to have AC, rare at the beach.
But the coup de grace was the gorgeous backyard! The stylish, black & white, generously appointed seating area
Included a large daybed, 4 chairs & 2 umbrellas, as well as an outdoor dining table, and a BBQ. This cozy, private oasis was surrounded by verdant trees, plants, flowers lining the brick walls, and an expansive patio that wrapped around the house. The perfect hideaway!
Add a garage and it’s your home away from home. The host, Kelly, was so friendly, available, and helpful, a real pleasure.

The bungalow was the perfect sanctuary for our family get away. The beach is a short walk away and 2nd street was so fun and had lots of dining options! The house was perfect…..cozy with unique decor, lemon tree in the front courtyard and the back courtyard was so cozy for lounging around with a glass of wine! Would highly recommend!!! Kelly, the owner, was a huge help and highly invested in making our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. She went above and beyond!

This property is a must for anyone visiting the area. Location 5++. Home 5++. The host OMG! They have thought of everything 5+++. There is a garage for parking, but we had a big car and managed with street parking and creativity! Was never a problem. We would absolutely come again. Cannot imagine staying anywhere else when visiting Southern California.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home! The location was fantastic-- very close to 2nd street (but not noisy), and easy walk to the beach. The owner was so nice and easy to communicate with. Super comfortable beds and family room, and the back patio is as lovely as it looks! We will be back!
