Roberts’s home was purely magical. The house itself was very comfortable for our group of 7. Everyone had their own room and we had enough space to spread out and relax. The one dinner we had at the house was perfect on the terrace overlooking the bay of poets. All rooms except for one had a fantastic view of the bay - but we spent most of our time on the first floor deck. There are a lot of stairs to climb, but it’s well worth it! Roberta was very attentive and checked in regularly to make sure everything was ok. The location is great to explore the Cinque Terre area with ferries leaving from the port - about a 10 minute walk (downhill) from the house. Portovenere itself was also very charming and great to explore. Would absolutely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Roberta’s home in Porto Venere. From the moment we arrived, Roberta greeted us warmly and even provided a much-appreciated “welcome present.” She was incredibly helpful, assisting us with travel arrangements from Pisa to the house and back. Roberta gave us a thorough tour of the house, pointing out the “house book” which contains house rules, tips, and a wealth of local information to enhance our stay. She also checked in with us during our visit and informed us about local events happening while we were there.
The home itself is lovely, featuring nice linens and spacious bedrooms with ample closet space. The beds were very comfortable, and extra pillows were available. The three bathrooms were well-stocked with “hotel toiletries,” plenty of towels, and a hairdryer—everything we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well-appointed, perfect for preparing meals or simply making a pot of coffee or a cup of espresso. There’s also a small local market nearby, which was very convenient.
While the interior of the house is very nice, we spent most of our time on the fabulous main terrace. The terrace overlooks the Bay of Poets and Isle Palmaria, a regional park just a 5-Euro round-trip ferry ride away. The retractable awning on the terrace can be electronically adjusted to provide shade or sun, making it a perfect spot to relax. We all enjoyed watching the ever-changing view of super yachts and fishing boats on the bay.

I can’t say enough about our stay from start to finish.
Roberta was extremely helpful & communicative & she went out of her way to make our stay memorable.
The fridge was stocked with bottled water & local wine & she even brought delicious local focaccia to njoy along with the wine on the patio😊 upon our arrival 👍
The property was all we’d hoped & more.
From the optional outdoor showers, bedrooms with water views comfortable beds & pillows, It was hard to leave the villa each day. If we’d had more time, we would’ve njoyed just hanging on the patio watching the cruise ships, yachts and ferries come & go.
The property is in a great location…a short walk into charming Portovenere which turned out to be a perfect location to hop on a ferry to the Cinque Terre. We used Francesco the charming porter & relative of Roberta’s to transport our baggage up & down the stairs for a nominal fee & it was so worth it.🙏 In addition, Toberta helped me secure some trekking poles
I highly recommend this lovely property … you won’t be disappointed😍 a return visit is in our future 🙏😊👍

We stayed for four nights and had a very enjoyable stay. Roberta met us at check-in and went over everything we needed to know. The views from the home are amazing. You do have 104 steps up to the home, but it was worth it! We easily took the ferry to the Cinque Terre area and visited a couple towns and took a pesto class. At the end of the day, we were glad to come back to the much more quiet Porto Venere. The home is very spacious inside and the outside area is very large and nicely landscaped. Highly recommend!!

If you have a chance to stay here you will not regret it! A little piece of paradise. Roberta went above and beyond to make sure our time in Porto Venere was perfect. Roberta was there to greet us and explained everything we needed to know about the property. She was able to arrange for a porter to take our luggage up to the property. She also arranged for a driver to take us to Portofino. The property is spectacular and we enjoyed sitting on the deck and soaking in the view. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect! We were able to catch the ferry to Cinque Terre and at the end of the day were able to enjoy beautiful PortoVenere. Thanks Roberta for making our stay so special!

The house was perfect for an extended family of adults. Very clean, bedrooms were large and all could be kings or twins. View from the large veranda was breathtaking. Roberta, the host, was reachable all the time by text and was a great help throughout the stay. Location was perfect for many day excursions.

Roberta's property was much more than advertised! The location is perfect – a short walk from the boats to Cinque Terre. The view is even better! Portovenere is also an amazing town itself. Just as great as Cinque Terre with half the crowd. The property is very spacious, especially the patio. We loved to take a break from the heat on the patio and enjoy the view. The property was also very clean.
Roberta is very kind and accommodating – the perfect host. You could tell she loves her guests! She arranged taxis to and from the property and was very responsive during our stay. She even has a booklet of useful info to help you around Portovenere.

Portovenere
Fantastic home overlooking the bay. This home has a fantastic patio with sweeping southeast views. So lots of morning sun. Yes there are steps (108 which is pictured) upto the property but the property/home is worth it. The property owner Roberta is a pleasure to deal with & you must inquire into a dinner prepared by her. There is a beach club directly below the property, the village of Portovenere is a 15 minute walk (halway there is the market). There you can find restaurants, gelato, shops & boat excursions to Cinque Terre. The home itself is very comfortable as all of the room sizes are very nice. The kitchen is very functional as well. And if you are sunbather there is an outdoor shower to cool off. The yard has a fig, plum and olive tree's. Every evening we found ourselves on the patio enjoying the view to the drink of the night with prosciutto & melon. We hope to find another trip in the future to this spot.

A wonderful holiday
We had a wonderful holiday in Portovenere. We were guests of Roberta who welcomed us on arrival and was so very helpful assisting us with information and arrangements before and during our stay.
Her villa is beautiful, with a magnificent view of the sea. The accommodation was excellent, lovely bedrooms and bathrooms, a comfortable living room, a well supplied kitchen and a huge table where we were all able to dine together.
Roberta explained everything we needed to know about the villa, how to work appliances,to operate lights and manage our stay. The villa has everything you need, towels, toiletries, books, games, music, tv and all the cleaning materials you need for the dishwasher ,washing machine etc.
Roberta kindly did some shopping for us so we had some provisions on arrival and also went to fetch us some takeaway food for our first meal .
It is a very comfortable home and Roberta kept in touch during the week to make sure all was ok.
The garden and terraces are a great outside space where we could relax, have lunch and enjoy the view.
Roberta also explained that the supermarket and bus stop were close by, and very kindly helped us with church times.
The villa is situated in a very pretty village with choice of boat or bus and train to explore the Cinque Terre.
I would recommend this villa to anyone who wants to enjoy a restful holiday in a beautiful region of Italy.

Perfect Italian coastal town and even better place to enjoy it
Got lucky to be one of the first to book this beautiful and perfect home for 2 families - 10 people in all. Plenty of bedrooms (and bathrooms) for everyone - especially because we spent nearly all our time on the wrap around, multi-level terraces with amazing views over the water. Less than 5 minute walk to beach (one of the few around) and less than 10 into town. Parked our car at the beginning of our stay and never used again. The place is very much a home - not a staged and empty vacation rental so kitchen was fully-stocked and place was very easy to live in and experience the Italian coast. Roberta was a great host with exact recommendations for restaurants and boat trips and itineraries. Highly recommend

Better than the photos!!! Unbelievable!
Roberta and her family are so so kind! We arrived earlier than expected, but Roberta still welcomed us without hesitation! The villa is a home, and the view is incredible. Everything you need is either in the house or just walking distance to grab it. We loved the outside shower, and breakfast on the terrace! Can’t say enough about this home and Roberta! We hope to come back very soon!

Idyllic location
The villa is a perfect place to relax with friends and visit the region. It is easy to get a boat to the Cinque Terre ans Isola Palmira. We bought fish in the port, barbecued it and ate it while enjoying the view over the bay- who can ask for more? Market lovers will like La Spezia. The villa is spacious and the bedrooms are very comfortable. The free parking is a bonus! Roberta is a very kind and helpful host. Thank you for making our trip so perfect!

Beautiful property! Better than the pictures!
Roberta's home-cooked meal of Caprese salad, prosciutto, pesto lasagna, and tiramisu was one of everyone's favorite dinner from our trip and a meal we will never forget. It was already incredible to arrive to such a beautiful house and outdoor space, and the delicious prepared meal waiting for us after hours of travel was icing on the cake!
Additional thoughtful touches included a portable crib with soft bedding for our toddler (who slept great!), advice on local attractions, and quick responses to questions. Roberta went above and beyond to help ensure a memorable stay.
As she states in her home description, there are lots of stairs up to the house — but the climb is worth it. Truly an unforgettable home in an unforgettable town.
The property was very clean and well stocked with dishes. Plenty of room for the 9 of us. It was wonderful to have areas that held all if us together both in the house and on the porches.
We took advantage of the parking spaces although the vehicles were not needed. We took the ferry from Porto Venere to see the local sights - it was much easier than driving. The downtown of Porto Venere and the marina were an easy walk. The local grocery had everything we needed and there is a lovely playground on the way to the town that our toddler loved.
The views from the porch are spectacular. We watched the ships and sailboats. We could see the marble peaks of the Alps in the distance. The property is very private and quiet. Lots of birds and tiers of landscaped property.
We dream of returning. Thank you Roberta for such a memorable stay.
