Apartment had everything we needed. We loved having our did with us. He is part of the family. Location could not be better. It was very clean. Layout was a little quirky but that is to be expected with older properties. All of Cape May seemed to be within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

This location is perfect for a girls' weekend getaway. We went in mid-October so we were more interested in the shopping & restaurants than the beach. This place did not disappoint. It's a 2 min walk to Washington St. shopping. The house is an older house, so understanding that before you get there is important. Tons of charm.

My husband and I stayed at this cute little place for a few days vacation in Cape May. I have to say that October might be my favorite time of year at Cape May. The weather was beautiful and it wasn't crowded at all. The house was perfectly located on Washington Street so we were able to park the car on the property and walk everywhere we needed to go. It was fun to see the shops and neighborhoods decorated for fall and Halloween. The neighborhood was quiet. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed for our stay. We look forward to returning again!

This place is in a great location, close to shopping, restaurants, and the beach. We’ve had good experiences with other VRBO rentals, so we’re looking forward to this one. I’m sad to say this one didn’t meet our expectations.
Pictures are pretty accurate but don’t show musty smells or bathroom odors. We left some nuts in a bowl while we went to dinner, came back to ants all over the counters. I contacted the owner and killed as many as I could, but it left me feeling discouraged and frankly disgusted.
Later that night when my husband fell over a step down from the hall to the kitchen and hit his head we decided to move to a hotel as we weren’t enjoying this place and felt uncomfortable.

Place was great overall! So many rooms and in an awesome location with parking! The only minor issue was the shower stall floor not being spotless. But that’s an easy fix though, and there’s a separate tub — so all good!

The property was conveniently located within walking distance of the Washington Mall and some restaurants. The area was quiet. The unit was clean and nicely kept. There was plenty of room for us and would have been plenty of room for another 2 guests. We will definitely remember this location for future stays in Cape May.

We had a lovely time in Cape May. The property was perfect for our needs - very well located and well equipped. We did have an issue when we arrived but the owner was quick to respond and deal with it.

The location was excellent - close to mall and beach. Easy to walk everywhere. Owner is responsive. I loved that my dog was welcome and there were newer appliances. Note that there is no fence. The big negative for us was the noise and unfortunately we did not have one good night sleep. Old home with old windows that rattled all night in wind and sounded like someone moving furniture. My husband tried to put a wedge in to help. Also, they are currently building across the street so be prepared for construction starting about 7am. (I recommend sleeping in the interior bedroom.)

Not fancy, but quaint. Was in town for a wedding and only needed a place to sleep and it was good for that. Has an antique feel with original floors and windows.

Just what we needed. A place to sleep and easy access to everything. Special plus - off street parking. Bedrooms are large and deck in front was nice. Despite rainy weather, because it is partially covered, we could still enjoy sitting on the deck.

The Perfect Location!
Michael’s home made for the perfect weeklong family vacation. Spacious and cozy; we would love to come back for another Cape May trip. Super attentive host…when the grill’s propane was empty the property manager replaced it immediately. Highly recommend.

A True Cape May Gem
I’ve been coming to Cape May for many years, but have never done a condo rental. The location was great, just a hop, skip and a jump to the Washington Street Mall, and a short, easy walk to the beach. The property itself was great, with a rooftop terrace area that we spent most of our time on. Michael, the host, was very quick to respond to my messages, and the check-in process was easy and simple. We are already looking forward to staying here again sometime!

Great location
Overall a great stay. The location was perfect and a few minutes walk to the beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. The property itself could use a little updating and some TLC but given ideally you’d want to spend most of your vacation on the beach or enjoying the best that CM has to offer, it’s still a nice stay for a good value.

Fabulous location
This rental is in a fabulous location near lots of shopping and restaurants. Can walk to a grocery store, the beach, or around the neighborhood to see lots of Victorian homes. Harriet Tubman Museum is nearby, but currently only open on the weekends. Interesting to learn how the neighborhood was active with the Abolitionist movement.
Apartment has lots of space, but not open concept as it is a historical home. Flight of stairs to enter. Front deck overlooking the neighborhood is an added bonus. Beds were comfortable, but the bedroom windows rattled a lot with the strong winds that occured during our stay. Also very drafty and the heating system couldn't keep up with the outside temperature in the 40's resulting in waking up to a 55 degree bedroom.
I would recommend renting here in warmer weather or if you have some really warm blankets or sleeping bag.
Also need to provide your own sheets, towels, and blankets.

Right near the mall and all the restaurants and shops, and close to the beach too! Good renovations to a lovely Victorian, with some period pieces makes this a wonderful place to stay. Nice bright and cheery! Everything described online is as stated! The only issue was the bed being too soft (because I have a bad back). When I had any questions, Michael was extremely responsive and helpful. All in all we would love to come back again!

This property was booked by accident. I asked the owner if he would split payment with me...NO.. I didn't even get the cleaning fee back from him. He kept all of my money for a place I did not stay at and did not even care about the mix up.

Lovely time
The condo is great and we enjoyed it so much. Nice spacious bedrooms and bathroom arrangement is perfect for 4 people. I left some dishwasher soap-had to go to the Acme our first night and get some so having at least one there or telling renters to bring dishwasher soap would be great. Only a few items could be improved; all of the lightbulbs in the bedroom ceiling fixtures were burned out but it was not a big problem as the owner had left replacement bulbs; the master bedroom outside door and windows leak pretty badly. It was very, very windy during our stay and that room was pretty cold even with the heat turned up. The curtains were blowing into the room from the air blowing in from the outside; Lastly, the Roku remote for the living room seems to be broken-it rattles. We solved the problem by switching with one of the bedroom TVs, which we switched back before we left, but wanted Michael to know that it's not working

Great Weekend Getaway!
This place was perfect for our weekend getaway. Check-in and check-out was easy. The location was perfect, you can literally see The Washington Mall and a grocery store from the upstairs balcony. There was a Post Office just footsteps away with a nice grass area for our dog and it was just a couple minutes walk to a dog park and the beach. There is also a nice little coffee shop just down the block. We had plenty of room in the apartment and with the exception of some remote control batteries, we didn't need a thing. The place was clean and had a nice historic charm. There was plenty of room for our truck in the private parking lot too. Michael responded to our emails quickly and we will definitely be going back!

The house was super cute and in a perfect location. The house was clean and I love that you can sleep with the balcony door open for fresh air. We enjoyed talking on the balcony with our coffee in the morning. The only negative were that we couldn't figure out the cable in the living room and the roku remote was dead and we couldn't find batteries. Also the king size mattress was not very comfortable but that could be personal preference. Overall we had a great weekend and enjoyed our stay.

Location, heart of historic downtown, was great. Quiet and comfortable and completely safe.

The property is ideally located, close to beach, shopping and great restaurants. The photos of the property are deceiving because they don’t show the wear and tear of the rooms and furnishings. In addition, several items are in need of maintenance and/or repair. I suspect the above all factors into the reasonable cost for this rental. The

My boyfriend, dog, and I were able to go on a nice fall weekend getaway to Cape May. The house was clean and perfect for us. The location was great and host was extremely easy to communicate with. We loved the huge deck off of the king bedroom. We would definitely come again!
