We had a wonderful time for our scientific/academic retreat at the Big House. Jessica went above and beyond to accomodate us! The house was clean and welcoming. We were greeted with a cherry pie and fresh fruit- lovely touch. This was our second time staying at Big House and we had a great time. The space is large enough to fit all of us, lots of space to spread out but yet be all together, the kitchen is equipped nicely. The Big House got a satellite wifi and that was a HUGE improvement from the last year, as we had 40 people on multiple devices and internet worked great! Also it was nice that the house had extra paper towels, tums and other first aid necessities as we ended up needing them for our group. We look forward to coming back to Big House at some point!

Staying at the Big House Lodge will go down in history as one of my all-time favorite rentals, and weekends in my lifetime! The house was even better than advertised, and we were amazed by the space, cleanliness, location, and Jess's hospitality. She really went above and beyond to make sure we had an incredible stay, and I've honestly never interacted with a host that was so kind and fun. We had a group of about 35 people and stayed at the Big House Lodge for our annual camp trip, and will definitely love to stay here every year moving forward! Thanks Jess, can't wait to go back! :)

The perfect place for my wedding, everything was so easy to set up and it turned out perfectly. I would love to stay again.

The Big House Lodge was a perfect place for our church’s women’s retreat. The rooms and beds were comfortable and everyone appreciated the en suite bathrooms. The kitchens (there are two of them!) are well equipped and we had plenty of space for meals, crafting and just chatting. The two large living spaces were perfect for our meetings and Jessica and John spent extra time with me to make sure we could project on both the tv and screen. We used the barbecue and hot tub and both worked great. I especially appreciated Jessica’s attention to detail and to our specific needs. My ladies want to come back next year!

This is our second men's retreat at the big house. We love the atmosphere for a retreat, plenty of space for activities, the kitchen is great for serving food, and accommodations are comfortable.

We had a family gathering here and it was perfect. There were 45 of us! The house is very comfortable with everything we needed. The outdoor space and hot tub is great too. Plenty of space for cooking, eating and hanging out.

We enjoyed a comfortable and cozy stay for our group of 28 women. We especially appreciated the en-suite bathrooms for almost every bedroom. The kitchen was well appointed with every small appliance, pot, pan and utensil you could think of and included enough plates/cups/silverware for everyone. The spacious living areas were perfect for both our large group gatherings, as well as cozy spots to gather for more intimate conversations. The close proximity to Cle Elum made it great for a shopping jaunt, but it was secluded enough to feel we were separated from the everyday hustle and bustle of life. The hot tub was a nice option too. Jessica was great! She responded to every question and made sure we were all set upon our arrival. Wonderful retreat weekend! We will be back!

I've booked this property twice now, for milestone birthdays, and it does not disappoint. Have a large group for a wedding, reunion, or other event? No problem, this house sleeps 50. Have a smaller group like we did? Great, every couple gets their own room. Have people with RVs, vans, or camping? That works too! There is ample room for parking and camping. The house is very homey and cozy, something you might not expect of a place that sleeps so many. The main common space is open plan which means you can all be together while meals are being prepared, games are being played, movies are being watched. The bedrooms are really nice, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The house is stocked with everything you need, and the fabulous property manager walks you through everything when you arrive so you know where to find it all. I highly recommend this place, and who knows... I could be back for a 3rd time when that next milestone rolls around.

We wanted nothing more than for our wedding than family being together. Spending thousands of dollars on a single day at various wedding venues in our area just seemed absurd for us specifically and I am so happy I looked at other options! I booked three full days so we had more than enough time to not only have our wedding but have an extra day of just relaxing and fun with family and friends after the wedding! We were able to host our entire immediate family and bridal party (many of which flew in from out of town so it saved them money as well) at the house comfortably, had more than enough room for the 30 people that stayed there and we could of had even more! The main floor offers 6 bedrooms ALL with their own bathrooms and handicap accessible, which was great for our parents. Upstairs is man cave central with a pool table, darts and poker table, we also used this area for 'getting ready' photos of the groom and groomsmen. Upstairs has four beds and a huge bathroom with a giant jetted tub that I am devastated we didn't get a chance to use. Downstairs has two sets of KING OVER KING bunk beds, plus another room that sleeps four, which all our siblings shared. The multiple kitchens made prepping food a breeze and three fridges in total, lots of appliances and cookware to where we didn't even use anything we brought think I was most excited about the huge ice maker! Plenty of room for people to camp if they wanted, and so much to offer as far as games and activities, wooded areas to explore, a large soccer field, horseshoes and we even brought a slip and slide for the kids. The Big House Lodge has literally everything you could need in the house and extras available for rentals like chairs and tables for larger events, they even offered catering items and dinnerware and also fabric for the pretty gazebo we used during our ceremony.
I cannot imagine not doing our wedding as a whole weekend event like this because it just let us soak in all the love and family time possible and I am forever grateful to have found this location that I know we rent again for family reunions.

So much room for activities!
We hosted a guys weekend here and there was way more than enough room for about a dozen of us. The amenities here seem to be unlimited, there is so much to do in and around the property! Jessica was super helpful to us and was quick to respond to any of our questions. Check-in/check-out process was a breeze as well! I’m already looking to plan my next trip to The Big House!!!

Great property, great location, great anemities
We have been renting the Big House Lodge for the past 8 years and recently it has been updated. The best part about visiting in the winter is you almost always get snow. This year we got a lot of snow.

Big House Lodge- Teen Retreat
I’m honestly so happy to leave this review because we had such an awesome stay at Big House Lodge. Jessica was one of the best hosts that I have come across. We were planning a large teen retreat, and she provided us an opportunity to check out the place beforehand, she went out of her way to help with any of our issues that we would come across. You could tell that she actually wanted to make our stay pleasant, from her welcome gift to her friendliness and flexibility. We had a large group of 50 people and the house fit our group very well, it was spacious with all modern accommodations. Plenty of bedding, towels, and dishes at the house, so we did not have to pack much. The hot tub was a cherry on top in the evenings. The property had plenty of leveled land to set up a volleyball net, had its own tire swing, a firepit area, and simply beautiful serene nature around. Would highly recommend this place and hope to be able to stay there again. Big thanks from our team!!

Huge, comfortable house with great amenities
'The Big House' is everything our group hoped for and more. It has multiple indoor and outdoor areas in which to gather. The bedrooms and beds were very clean and comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. We made use of the multiple refrigerators, ice machine & BBQ as well as the multiple coffee machines. The pictures you see on the listing are great, but there's so much more than we expected and Jessica, the Property Manager, couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating. It's very hard to get 13 old guys to agree on anything, but we DID agree this place was the most comfortable place we'd stayed in our nearly 30 years of hiding our reunions.

Cle Eum Slice of Paradise
This place was even more amazing when seen in person. The house was perfect for our anniversary celebration and utilized the large fields for Backyard Olympics! Jessica was FANTASTIC in answering all my questions and offered an advanced tour. Her attentiveness made the holiday weekend even more special.

Big House Does It Again!
This was our second time at Big House Lodge and once again we had a blast! The bang for your buck is hard to beat. We had a group of around 20 and there was still more than enough room for each of us to have brought a +1. If the pictures for this place get you excited, just wait until you see it in person! While in town someone asked if we were staying at Suncadia and we were quick to let them know that Suncadia was for peasants and people that have a hard time making friends. Obviously we were being facetious, but the space, privacy, and amenities offered at Big House are both hard to beat and hard to come by. The nearest neighbor is something like 300 yards away and while you're there it's easy to forget they exist at all. The trails through the woods add to the element of space and privacy.
It's hard to pick a favorite bedroom. Each one (minus the downstairs) has its own full bath. The beds were all very comfortable and there was plenty to do around the house. There are multiple TVs, but I'm not sure we ever bothered to turn one on. The main kitchen is large and comes with two ovens and a fridge and if that's not enough, the next room over is basically a cafeteria with two more fridges and another oven. If the point of this place is to bring groups of friends and families closer together then it did its job while we were fortunate enough to visit. I look forward the day we get to do so again. If the nightly price has you hesitating, take into account all that it accommodates and know that the juice is worth the squeeze.
Pro tip: There are multiple shuttle buses in the area that will take you into town if you call, ask nicely, and offer to throw some dollars their way. We found this to be the easiest way to hit The Brick without having to later show an officer how well you can recite your ABCs backwards or how precisely you can touch your finger to your nose. Calling and asking one of the bars in town should get you a phone number.

This was an excellent short stay in Cle Elem, on a large property that had plenty of room for all. Road to the property was well maintained and the management was very responsive and pleasant to interact with.

Amazing place
The pictures online do not do this place justice. It is gigantic! Everyone had a wonderful time and the location is beautiful, there were spices in the kitchen, plenty of plates/forks/knives, wood for the fire places, and a great game room for the children. I would highly recommend this place.

Our family used the Big House for our yearly Christmas Cabin tradition. 0
We were so happy with our decision to use The Big House. The pictures are accurate! There was PLENTY of room for our large Family and pets! We were so surprised at the size and accommodations! The kitchen was The absolute Best! And the "sleeping" areas allowed for some of us to retire early without interruptions from the common area. It was PERFECT. The communication was excellent and Corri met all of our needs! We Even had a beautiful Christmas tree and outdoor lighting. It set the mood! I highly recommend the Big House! I recommend!
We used this house for our wedding venue and Cori was the absolute best. She went out of her way to make sure that everything was perfect and she even left us a little gift and card when we checked in. All the guests talked about how perfect the venue was and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our wedding. It meant a lot considering all the hurdles we had to go through to have this wedding!

Perfect Ending to 2019
We had our annual Winter's Retreat and every camper had a blast at this place. The Big House Lodge includes everything you need for a perfect stay in the winter. We truly had a blast and our retreat couldn't have been better anywhere else.
