About this house rental
Stunning home at the end of a private path to Playa Guiones in the exclusive Guiones Beach Club. Only 200 meters from the beach and the famous Guiones tide pools, you can be on the beach in minutes to head out to surf or swim or walk through the sand.
The house has 5 beautifully appointed suites, three with king beds and two with twin beds, all with private bathrooms. In addition, there is a 6th guest room with bunk beds, the lower being queen-sized. Each bedroom has an independently controlled A/C unit.
The main living area is air conditioned, but many guests prefer to open the large sliding glass doors to the pool and gardens to enjoy Costa Rica’s lovely natural environment. The main kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare the fresh seafood and produce that you will find in the local markets. The outdoor dining area features a guanacaste wood table that can seat ten, and there is an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill, prep sink and drink fridge.
Beso del Sol offers a beautiful pool with a shallow end for little ones and a deep end for swimming. The grounds have been professionally landscaped and include an orchard that provides a variety of fruit for you to enjoy in season, and that makes the house unusually private. There is a teak deck in the orchard for your relaxing outdoor morning yoga session. At the rear of the house there is covered parking for two vehicles, an outdoor shower for rinsing off after a trip to the beach, and a secure storage room for surfboards, boogie boards and other beach gear.
This lovely home is located in Guiones Beach Club, a private gated residential community with a security staff on duty 24-hours a day and security cameras throughout. It is located within easy walking distance of many fine restaurants and shops in Guiones, but is comfortably away from the bustle of the main commercial zone. Beso del Sol itself has many security features: a monitored alarm system, safety glass, steel roll-down doors, and pin lock security doors.
With lots of space for relaxing and the peaceful sound of the waves in the background, you will never forget your stay at Beso del Sol.

Security
Nosara is absolutely a wonderful community and we can't wait to share all the good things that it has to offer. We care a great deal about our clients and for that reason, we also want to make you aware of one of the véry few downsides to Nosara: petty theft (they usually are out for your cash and your belongings as in any other tourism area). We would like to understand the dynamics of the group, so we can take care of you, put you in the right house and downsize the chance of you having any issues with this. Please feel free to inquire for more information. If not included, the property manager can arrange a dinner guard at an additional cost. The guest is responsible for securing and protecting their personal belongings and valuables left in and around the Property and for ensuring that all security features available are enabled every time they leave the Property.
Internet and Electricity
In the jungle, the utility infrastructure is unpredictable. There may be power, phone, and/or internet outages and interruptions in service. The Guest should not leave electronics plugged in during rainstorms. There is no guarantee that the Internet will always work. We have an excellent mobile phone signal with Kolbi and data rates are very reasonable. If internet access is always crucial, we encourage you to bring an unlocked phone and get a Kolbi SIM card. Please note that the Homeowner nor the Property Manager has no control over these situations and no refunds or discounts will be offered for outages or interruptions to these services. If there's any problem with the Property, please report it to the Property Manager.
Water
During the dry season months of December through April, the Property may have low water pressure due to temporary or scheduled water outages. This Property has a water reserve tank for Guests during water outages. We will do our best to notify Guests of any interruptions in water service or regularly scheduled water shut-offs.
Jungle creatures
We make every effort to present a well-cleaned home for your arrival. However, it is a jungle out there and nature can move in at any time. The Homeowners and Property Manager are not responsible for the fumigation or removal of insects that may enter the Property during the Guest's stay. Even though the house is regularly fumigated on a maintenance schedule, expect to see ants, beetles, spiders, and other assorted insects year-round. Bugs are especially active during the rainy season, May through November. Every effort is made to present a clean home at Check-In. To minimize the impact of bugs on your vacation, please keep food wrapped, store it in the refrigerator, clean kitchen counters and screen doors closed at all times (particularly at night).
Refunds
No refunds will be given for natural disasters, water outages, internet outages, security breaches, personal property losses, or nearby construction noise. This area is a rapidly growing community. There is no guarantee there will not be construction nearby.
Insurance
We encourage all Guests to purchase Traveler Insurance in case of unforeseen circumstances, accidents, or other issues that may prohibit Guests from travelling or fulfilling Rental terms.

Nosara was great! Cute shops, excellent food, quiet beach. The house is located a quick walk to the beach and a 15 min walk to great restaurants and shop. The house was super clean and we had no maintenance issues. Would definitely stay here again!

Great House, Perfect Location and Good Service
We were a group of 10: two expat families, with 6 children ranging from 16 months (In a pack-and-play we provided) to 16 years. We were there to see the Turtles Hatching during low/rainy season.
Great House: The house is just as pictured, beautifully decorated, well appointed and very comfortable! Be aware that this is a rental house, not a family home that is rented out. Bring all your own books, board games and food. We cooked our own meals and the house was very nicely equipped for that (coffee grinder, good solid pots and pans, so-so knives, but they do have a sharpener.) However, you will need to bring (or buy) everything in terms of food, including salt, pepper, and olive oil (or support the local economy and eat out).
4-star for cleanliness, not because it was not cleaned, but because one only gets mid-week cleaning services if you book 6 days or more. To keep critters at bay in Costa Rica, a minimum of daily floor cleaning is REQUIRED so this falls to the renters. (Ugly underbelly of living in paradise. We are in their territory!) But if you are cool with critters, and don’t mind sweeping and maintaining a very tidy home (or eating out every meal) no worries! We did ask to have a nest of ants right outside the kitchen treated and the property manager (Josh) was prompt and accommodating.
Perfect Location: 5 minute walk (on little legs) to beach. At low tide this is a lovely flat sandy beach, with lots of tide pools to explore.
10 minute drive (on unpaved roads, through a beautiful enclave of very nice homes) to most amenities. We did the escape room and Climb Nosara, both enjoyed by all. There is lots of construction, but this particular house is surrounded by empty lots and secluded at present (Nov 2020) .
Ostinal is about 30 minutes away. But there is a river that needs to be crossed during rainy season. 4x4 highly recommended,
Good Service: Check in was easy, though a bit more house specific information in the booklet would have been handy. The Property management company was very responsive and Proactive in their customer service. The booking company was marginal. When we had some concerns regarding Hurricane ETA, And while they replied to emails, I could not get them to call me so we could have a live conversation and given the circumstances, that would have been nice. But Josh, the property manager stepped in and took care of us.
I would definitely recommend and book again.

Beautiful home within walking distance of beach
This house is nicer than the pictures. It was perfect for our stay in Nosara. Walking distance to the beach. Away from all the hustle of the town but close enough to drive or a long walk. We highly recommend it. Staff were attentive and responsive throughout our stay.

Paradise
Such a beautiful property!!! We had such a wonderful time!
We enjoyed picking starfruit and lemons in the yard.
We had a 3 minute walk to Baker beach, for surfing, boogie boarding and gorgeous sunsets.
The property managers were the best we've experienced.

Nice house close to the beach
This is a very nice house with two master suites (a king and queen) then one bedroom with a bunk bed and one with two twin beds. The living room is a little sparse for a 4 bedroom house, but the outdoor furniture is abundant and most of your time is spent at the beach or outside near the pool. The outdoor dining area is spectacular as is the outdoor shower, washer/dryer and safe. There is airconditioning in each bedroom that works well. I would recommend replacing all the towels (both beach and bath) and to provide more towels for houseguests. For a house this beautiful, there should be nice and abundant towels.

Surf and sun
The house is the perfect place to be self-sufficient, close to the beach, away from the crowds and has a lovely pool to sit in at any hour.
You can walk to the restaurants if you wish, or ride your bike, everything is close, but not too close.
I have been going to Playa Guiones for a few years and staying at the Harmony, but this is much better.

Highly recommend!
We had a fantastic time. The house was perfect for our family with 3 teenagers. The pool and grounds were awesome and close location to the beach made this a wonderful vacation. The management company was very professional and helpful. We definitely recommend this rental property.

Perfect house minutes from the beach
We absolutely loved our time at Besos del Sol! The pool, the style, the location and the dealing with the property managers were all great. The beach felt like it was literally at the end of our drive way! We also loved how the bedrooms were nicely air conditioned so we could escape the heat and sleep well. We hope to come back again!
