Need to bring fans to put in front of ac units to cool down the main room & kitchen. Electrical plugs didn’t all work but we brought ext. cords to use downstairs. It was in a good location & close to beach. We enjoyed our stay. Will rent again.

Easy access to beach. Main a/c not up to par but owner is on top of it. Enjoyed the place. Quiet area also. Kitchen fully stocked w everything u could possibly need

Tried to contact property manager through text and E-mail. Never got a response. That was upsetting because I couldn't use the wifi. Brought my own bedding. The mattress was so disgusting I slept on the couch.

Perfect for our family.

Perfect for our family.

This is an older house, but fit our needs perfectly. The grill is more like a smoker, so be prepared for that. The house is a few blocks from the beach. We rented a golf cart (Crystal Beach Golf Carts...highly recommend!!!) And it worked out perfect. Scott was able to allow us to check in a bit early. We had a great time. We love Crystal Beach and will return!

If you are looking for a no frills stay, located within walking distance of the beach, this is it. While the property can use some upgrades, the location of this property was perfect for us. 4 adult and 2 children had plenty of room. We were only in the house in the evenings and for meal times since we spent time fishing and swimming at the beach. Bring everything you would need for a stay and you should be fine. Listed 2 bathrooms, but only one was functioning since the downstairs will undergo remodeling.

Well stocked kitchen and basic accommodations

Just what we were looking for, basic beach accommodations with a well stocked kitchen. This beach is a 1/4 mile walk or short drive. We rented a golf cart so it wasn't an inconvenience. If you looking for a fancy place this is not it, but it's clean and had everything we needed to cook with. Window ac units are loud so if this is something that bugs you then look elsewhere, they cooled the house down well. Overall for the price the family had a great time and we have no complaints. Bring your own sheets, pillows and blankets.

Place was as described. The beach house was just what we needed for a family reunion beach trip. It was stocked with the necessities. We brought a golf cart to go from house to beach as it is a little far lugging all the beach items with toddlers in tow. The owner was quick to respond with questions we had.

We absolutely loved our stay! The homeowners were very helpful in check-in and check-out. They were very kind and I could tell they wanted us to have a good time. The place was clean. The new floors were gorgeous and were carried throughout the home. Sectional couch was perfect for napping after being at the beach all morning. Beds comfy. AC worked great in every room. Kitchen was functional. You can walk to the beach from the home but it is a little far. I would highly recommend renting a golf cart to cary things to and from the beach and to ride up and down the beach. (We were happy we rented one.) Outdoor porch was great, especially for star gazing at night. Large TV in living room was perfect for watching movies after the sun went down. We were able to stay socially distant from other people at the home and the beach. Perfect COVID -19 get away. Our dogs loved it as well. We would go again.The home could use some cosmetic updates but none of this bothered us too much. Washer/dryer area needed cleaning. I would recommend packing everything and not planning on washing clothes. This is difficult when you have to bring your own towels and linens. We were too afraid to go into the bathroom downstairs. It was in the same shape as the laundry room.

Booked this house pretty last minute. Turned out to be amazing. House was well appointed. Bringing our own linens and towels was new, but not an issue. Thought about renting a golf cart, but didn’t need to. We bought the 10 dollar beach permit and drove right onto the beach each day. Husband used the grill almost every night and it worked well. The bathroom downstairs we didn’t use at all (it’s a little creepy). TVs in each room worked great, so did the air conditioners. My family and I had a great trip and this house was one of the best we’ve been to. Owner was very friendly and responsive. Overall, great experience.
