Who are we?
My name is Rob, and my wife is Martine. I came to the Rockies for a summer camp in 2000 and 2001. I immediately fell in love with the area. I took my wife on a road trip in 2004 and she had the same reaction. It took us 10 years to finally leave the province of Quebec and cross the country with our 3 young children to start a new life in Canmore. Since 2014, we call it home. We love to explore those mountains by foot. We’ve scrambled a few of them and are always looking for new peaks to explore. We now have a furry friend that follow us everywhere, Bernie. You can see him on some pictures. We’ve been sharing our passion for the mountain with our guest since 2015. It’s been an incredible journey that brought us to meet some amazing people.

Overall great experience. The place was perfect for our group. Very clean, and great amenities. Robert was an excellent host, communicated clearly and in a very timely matter. Would highly recommend.

We loved our stay at Grey Owl's nest. The condo was the perfect size for our party of 7 plus a dog, and the views from the balcony were incredible. We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, nice facility - had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend and would stay there again!

We had a great time staying in Canmore, overall. There was just a false advertisement from Vrbo as we were expecting to live in a detached house or a chalet, not inside a condo/lodge. We were 8 in total, so it would've been better to stay in a detached house.

It was a pleasant stay

We were very happy with the place and all of the amenities of the property. Great location in Canmore, beautiful view of the mountains from the deck. Great amenities offered in the building as well as inside the property. It was very spacious with a Well stocked kitchen, including pans, utensils and basic spices, and we loved the espresso machine. Loved the pool and hottub downstairs and the laundry machines in our place. This place helped us relax after long days of hiking and outdoor activity and gear up for the next day.

The condo worked out great for our family vacation as we spent our days hiking and exploring the nearby national parks and the Kananaskis area. The condo was clean, well maintained, and the beds were comfortable. The convenience of having a park pass, the garage parking, and only being a short walk to the town center was great. The coffee lovers in the group also enjoyed the fancy coffee maker and coffee. We would stay here again! One thought for improvement would be to have a second luggage rack in the bedroom with the king size bed.

We had a great long weekend in the mountains here. Condo has everything you could ask for and is in a nice central location. Loved the privacy of the 2 doors to the 2nd bedroom. 1 more chair to cuddle up in and watch movies as a group would be lovely. Other than that, it was great! Thanks guys!

My family had a great 5-night stay at Robert's place! Everything was clean and in great condition. Robert was a great host who was very easy to reach and quickly responded to any questions. This was a perfect home base to spend a week exploring the surrounding national parks and we would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Property, good location , good apartments, mostly everything was good except for the fact that for not so very good quality hand towels and face towels with few stains on couple of them we were charged 150 CAD from deposit.
Please be aware of these charges which are insanely high for normal wear and tear of towels. Keep in mind while booking. if you wish to not have any worry of not knowing what you would end up paying look for something else.

Suite was clean with all the amenities one would need. Enjoyed the local coffee. The second bedroom worked great for our two teens. Hot tub was great! Would stay here again

Property was everything we expected. It was clean and well positioned for a 10 minute walk to town. Great view of the mountains from all rooms .

Really liked having the separate room for the kids. They had their own space.
The only issue we had was on Saturday night we had to park on the street two blocks away as the parkade was full. There was a large part of the parkade being used for renovation supplies which made parking an issue.

Great location close to trails and town with spectacular mountain views. Spacious unit with lots of amenities. We would stay here again!

Robert was a good host. Very prompt with messages and information. Check in was seamless... we were there for my daughter's wedding and early check in would have been great to be able to drop dresses and suits off at the suite instead of keeping them in our vehicle till 4:00 pm, however I do understand that this sometimes can't be accommodated.
The suite was clean except the floors. My socks were black on the bottom just from walking around the suite... changed my socks a couple times due to this possible housekeeping oversight.
Overall, we had a great stay!

This property was exactly what we expected fro the pictures and description. The beds were very comfortable and worked well for our family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There is laundry available on your room if you need and plenty of bathroom towels and supplies.
The pool and hot tub are lovely. At times the hot tubs were busy but the pool is heated to a comfortable temp that even at night we could swim in it for 10-15 mins while waiting for the hot tubs.
Owners checked in with us and weee available if we needed them.
Great stay.

AC doesn’t work that well and the suite was 26°C when we arrived. Took about 7h to cool down to 21°.
Beds not very comfy for the price.
The area is great, parking was good, the amenities were great as well. Over all really liked the place but the AC and beds needs some improvement definitely

When we first walked in we were very impressed it was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The view from the veranda was gorgeous of the Three Sisters Mountains. The kitchen was well stocked and we could do laundry if desired. It was a 10 minutes drive to Banff and 45 minutes drive to Lake Louise which was great. It was gorgeous however it would have been nice if the A/C was working while we were visiting. Nights were cool which made it nice anyways.
