dead cockroach bedroom rug dark spots floor dirty sand on coffe table kitchen utensils dirty and grease soaked when sitting on couch you were sitting on bed frame mold on bottom on outside shower door fridge door shelves were missing racks to hold stuff in sliding door was stiff and hard to slide we have been going to ft walton beach for years this was our worst lodging

Had an incredible time here. The condo was clean, and had everything we needed. I saw a couple reviews where people complained about the carpet and a few scuffs in the paint. It’s a condo. On the beach. You’re gonna get some wear and tear. And who is spending that much time inside anyway? Go hit that beach chair, listen to the ocean and enjoy yourself. If you have enough time to complain about trivial stuff like that, you’re not vacationing right. I suggest you take 3 margaritas and reevaluate your priorities. Also the host is insanely fast at responding, we had an issue with the pool code and she answered immediately! I will definitely use this host again, thank you for the great stay!

Pros: location was priceless just steps to the ocean. We woke up to the sounds of waves every day even with the windows and doors closed. The washer and dryer were of great value. The kitchen had most of the items needed to be self sufficient. Shower in second bath was a great size and both had good hot water. We got a lot of use of the heated pool and jacuzzi. Management was very responsive with our questions and on-site manager came quickly and to help with something a small as the router! Check in and out was quick and easy. Cons: the place itself was clean as in swept, wiped down etc but overall it’s in desperate need of deep clean and many updates. The carpet in the bedroom seems to be quite old and stained/dirty enough it didn’t feel clean enough to walk barefoot on. The caulking across the condo was cracked, walls and doors looked stained or in need of a deep clean and fresh paint. The fridge inside door was missing pieces, the stove’s burners were lopsided, the fold out mattress was absolutely NOT okay enough to sleep on as you could feel every single coil, dishwasher was old and damaged although seemed okay enough to use. The TV had no streaming capabilities so we were only able to access local channels. Overall, for the price I knew there would be some give and take. If this place would be given a facelift and updating I would have been happy to pay more for the cleanliness just because of location alone!

The condo was amazing. The location was perfect and the view of the beach was breathtaking. My wife and I enjoyed our stay and will be looking to be repeat customers. The property was very nice. We did have to request pass code for the pool. Not a complaint. Bedroom carpet and ceiling fans need cleaned but everything else was very nice 🙂. Overall we would recommend!

The condo was put together very well and we loved having the two bedrooms! The view is absolutely stunning from the balcony. We loved having the complementary beach chairs and umbrella because it made it so easy to go down and enjoy the beach without the extra hassle. The only reason I didn’t give five stars from cleanliness was small things like the coffee pot and a few other dishes. We never were able to get the Wi-Fi info either. Over all we loved staying here and would definitely book again!

A very nice one bedroom two bathroom condo. Very nicely decorated and the kitchen seemed to be stocked well enough to cook a meal. However we were on vacation and only used the coffee maker. I would definitely stay again. We went to rent chairs and an umbrella and was informed by the beach attendant that we got one with our condo so that was a plus.

My family and I enjoyed so much staying here. Condo is clean and has gorgeous ocean views. Just one thing to consider is that condo is advertised as “sleeps 6” but it’s really “sleeps 4”, as the sofa bed mattress is in very bad condition and it’s impossible to sleep in. Once the mattress is replaced, it would be a nice place to stay for up to 6 people.

We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were prompt with communication and the ocean view made everything worthwhile! My only complaint is the master bed was a bit hard and rough on my back. Other than that everything was exactly as the listing states and I would stay again.

The location of the condo was great. It had a beautiful view. But the condo needs some updating. There was dust everywhere. The carpet in the master bedroom is fairly dingy looking. The pullout bed in the sofa is terrible. You could feel the springs and a bar going across. It made for an uncomfortable night. There were also no sheets on the pullout or extra to put on it. My daughter walked barefoot for a couple of hours and her feet were black.

The beach was beautiful and not too crowded, which we loved. This was my first time in the Destin area, and this has to be one of the prettiest beaches I've ever seen. The condo was nice and cleanly, everything was provided for cooking, soap, towels, etc. Beach chairs out front were provided with the condo so that was really nice. My only complaint would be that the owner seemed difficult to get ahold of and the front desk staff at the condo was never there. Luckily we did not have any emergencies during our stay, but there were emergency numbers provided if needed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Okaloosa Island. Location was wonderful as the beach is visible as soon as you enter the condo! There are a few things that need to be fixed. The refrigerator had no racks on the door however we found them on top of the refrigerator but they were all broken. The condo did need a good deep cleaning as there was dust everywhere. The coffee pot did not brew the coffee very hot. The kitchen faucet was very loose and needed to be tightened. Also there was no toilet paper holder in the master bathroom. At the time of our stay we didn't feel that these items warranted a call or text to the owner as they were things we could just deal with for the week we were there. Overall we had a wonderful time and loved the location of this condo!

Beautiful area. Grounds very well kept up. Only complaint, we had a couple of cockroaches crash our party. They were in the kitchen. Yikes !! It was hard to relax. That really put an uncomfortable feel on our stay.

Well pleased with everything. As a bonus that we were unaware of was that the condo provided 2 complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas at the beach. We’ve stayed at many places from Orange beach to Panama City and have never been offered that. Great perk.
